Digital Booklet Won't Go Away?!

I downloaded an album a few weeks ago and it came with a digital booklet..the album downloaded, and the digital booklet got to about 99% done and an error occurred..now every single time itunes is opened, it tries to finish the last bit of the download and it fails..i don't even want the booklet i just want it to stop downloading every time, but when you right click and delete it, it doesn't go anywhere.. i can't seem to get it off the computer..

DIgital booklets are not available for repeat download or I would suggest you simply delete and get a fresh copy. Instead use the "report a problem" links in your account history to contact the store support team. Hopefully they can requeue a working version for you to download.

HT201306 My digital booklets won't sink to my devices!

I tried putting some Digital Booklets onto my iPhone 4s, iPod touch and iPad 2 and it won't let me. It says it can't be copied because it won't play on any of those devices. I've tried contacting Apple, but the employee isn't really helping me.. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Am I doing something wrong? I'd appreciate some help, thank you

It may not be resolvable. You need to read the license you agreed to when you bought it. You may very well only be allowed to use it on the computer it's bought on, not transfer it to another device.
I know when I bought the copy of Star Trek 2009, paid more for the digital version, only to find out that it's only valid on one computer and one digital device and if I ever want to move it I have to call a phone number and get permission to move it. :-/
I handle my digital video files differently now.
Your only recourse may be to read the agreement, if you should transfer it to a device but it won't let you, call the contact number and see what they can do for you.

Digital Booklet won't show in Reader X

I had downloaded the latest U2 album in iTunes which also had an update and the digital booklet failed to show up in the reader as a result of a data mismatch error and corrupt file. How do I get it to show up in the reader? Thanks.

My digital booklet won't open

So I bought Lady Gaga - ARTPOP on iTunes and it downloaded along with the digital booklet and it opened fine and then it started downoading the album again so I delteted the newly downloaded songs but I deleted the old digital booklet. The new one has the iTunes LP icon and theres a box that says Play iTUNES LP but when I click it or double click the Digital booklet, it takes me to adobe reader and says it couldn't open the file because it's either an unsupported file or it is damaged, which is confusing to me because it is actually a PDF file. I uninstalled the software and re installed it, I deleted the digital booklet file and downloaded it again, I even tried an online PDF repair site and still it said it wasn't the correct file type. In the store it has the normal Digital booklet icon and says purchased but when I go to library and have it on "Show music in the cloud" it had the iTunes LP icon. I'm really confused and fustraited, can somebody please help me with this? thanks.

I've had the same issue. Running on a Windows 7 PC, ITunes 11.1.3.8. I had some initial issues with Album Art and have now noticed that none of my Album Booklets are displaying in ITunes as they used to. I get the same corrupt message as others have mentioned.
Like crsmoke above I can go to the file and open it, but should I have to.
I refer to the album art above as when I upgraded to IO7 and Itunes 11 I lost about 20% of my album art. In order to restore it I had to open each album, delete the image off of a single track and download the art for that track and then copy and paste it onto each album!
I love my Apple products, but why do we accept the issues, find workarounds and think it's OK? If you went to a restaurant and ordered a steak and they brought you chicken, you would not go into the kitchen and fetch your own steak and put it on your plate, but that is exactly what Apple seem to expect of us.
@apple please fix these bugs that are purely down to your poor QA process and rushed release, as much as I look forward to the next Apple product (I can't wait to download the new SW whenever a release is announced) I am becoming more and more disillusioned with the weakness of the product and the amount of unneccesary work it takes to get it to work properly.
I recognise that this is turning into a rant, but feel like Apple's opinion is that we'll put up with a sub-rate product because it's an Apple product.

I've been able to download other albums with booklets with no problem, so it appears to be just this one.. i don't even want the booklet, i want it to stop trying to download every time i open itunes. when i try and delete the booklet from the library it simply doesn't delete; neither right-clicking and selecting delete, nor dragging to the trash work. any tips? thanks in advance..

Either try to dl that pending booklet on another computer or contact iTMS customer support and ask them to clear your download queue

TS1424 I need help, see there is this Digital Booklet that is supposed to be included with the purchase of an album but i still for some odd reason haven't and can't get it, what is going on?!?!

Thinking back to when I've seen displays of newsprint that's been greatly magnified, being able to see the halftone screen pattern seems important. It gives the display a look of authenticity.
You say the library can scan at 600 ppi. If that's 600 ppi of a greatly reduced image on a piece of microfiche, it may not give you the resolution you're looking for, and it's entirely possible that getting a quality optical print then scanning it would give you better.
I don't see how you can plan how to proceed in anything like specific detail if you don't have an image that represents what you're really going to be starting with in detail. Perhaps getting one scan might be a good idea.
After that, you just need to figure out what ppi your final overall panel design is going to be at, and upsample the newspaper clippings to match, so that they're the size you need them to be.

Digital booklet download problem in iTunes

My album digital booklets won't download and are constantly coming up in my iTunes queue. At this point I don't care to see them but they are constantly in my queue and coming up as errors. How do I get rid of them?

No. You can't download a digital booklet using an iPod, iPhone or iPad. You will have to download it using a computer. Once downloaded, you can transfer it to your iPhone.

LP content can only be downloaded on a computer's iTunes (or 1st gen Apple TV), you can't download them on an iOS device - and I haven't seen anything that say it will change in iOS 8. If you don't have a computer then at the moment you won't be able to download/view LP content

After you buy an album with iTunes LP on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the album's songs will download directly to the device. The iTunes LP will download to iTunes on your computer when you choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.

Why won't LP digital booklets open?

i can't seem to be able to open digital booklets when downloaded with the album.
I've installed Adobe reader and Ibooks, tried to open the file from folder location, and even deleted the booklet and redownloaded.
any advice please?

Are you getting a corrupted file message, and how are you downloading them ? With the U2 booklet I could only open it when I downloaded it from Purchased, not via the cloud icon in the Music part of my iTunes library (i.e. if you have 'show iTunes in the Cloud Purchases' ticked on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences).
Try deleting the booklets from the Music part of your library. Then go into the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and try redownloading them from there and see if you can then open them.

I downloaded a CD with a digital booklet and the booklet won't open.

All of the songs will play, but when I try to open the digital booklet, it says "The file could not be opened. It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn’t recognize." Any ideas on how I can view this? I paid for it so I'd like to be able to use it.

It sounds like you downloaded the digital booklet and it will not open. I would suggest you delete the file from your iTunes library, and then re download it from the iTunes store with this article:

The digital booklet of the album I purchased won't run, Adobe Reader claims the PDF file is damaged.

I purchased an album (Avenged Sevenfold - Hail to the King, if it matters.)
On one of my authorized computers, the downloaded Digital Booklet PDF file isn't working, and Adobe Reader displays the following error:
"Adobe Reader could not open 'Digital Booklet - Hail to the King.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged."
On another authorized computer the file works fine.
I tried transferring the 'damaged' file to another computer, and it doesn't work. Meaning the file itself I get is damaged.
What can I do?

BTW this is the second report I've spotted regarding this album, so there may actually be a problem with the source file. I take it you are running the latest version reader, if not it would be worth upgrading to eliminate the unlikely event that it is an issue.
PS. On the other computer where it works was this file downloaded with your account or another? Have you tried transferring the copy that is known to work to your other computers?

Assuming other digital booklets and general PDF files open normally...
Delete the current copy from your library, Don't hide from iTunes in the Cloud if prompted. Close iTunes, Reopen. Look in iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer, download if available, otherwise go to your account and use the "report a problem" links to contact the iTunes store support team and explain the problem.
