Digital Camera with Quik Time 4 software won't work

i have Quik Time 4 as part of Olympus Digital Camera(Camedia)software and it will not work it this XP computer.( itused to)
It works in my wife's XP computer and my Win 98se computer

You need to purchase mac os 10.6 or later, assuming your computer is comptible, and install it.
I believe the requirements are printed on the box the iphone came in and the website:

R507 Digital Camera with Windows 7

HELP! I have an HP R507 digital camera with a SunDisk 64 MB memory card. Recently, I upgraded my O/S to Windows 7 , updated the drivers, and replaced the batteries in the camera. For some reason, the camera's memory will not empty after I download pictures. WHAT SHOULD I DO?? RSVP! Thanks! Jim

I have a digital camera with a usb connection. Can I use that for a video chat? I'm using chat 3.1.9

Most likely the answer is No.
I have a Kodak DC4800 It connects to iPhoto over USB.
It can not be seen as a Live Camera over this route.
It does in fact have a very small single channel socket (Smaller than a 3.5mm jack) that has a RCA connector on the other end.
This can be used to Display pics on a TV Screen (There is a Menu item in the Set up for PAL or NTSC) which can be handy to take Indoor pics if you can not see the display properly. If you have a VCR Recorder you can record video that way.
I used it to go through a DV converter.
This was used to convert an Analogue CamCorder but I tried it with the camera.
If the Video can be seen over USB in say iMovie (It can see many more Video codecs than iChat or Photo Booth) or Quicktime Player (if you have the Pro capabilities to Record) then it will be a question of an Utility for iChat. (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iusbcam/) This can change the codecs of some USB cameras that have drivers and can be "Seen" in various other apps. (Essentially it converts it to DV format).
If the USB feed can not be seen in any App you would need a Mac Driver for it much like you would for a WebCam.
There are Third party Drivers fro many web cams as well as some cameras coming with drivers on the Install Disk or downloadable from the Manufacturer's Web Site.
However these tend not to exist for Stills cameras, nor do the third Party ones work.

How compatible is the Samsung WB250F Smart Digital Camera with Mac IOS? Am thinking of buying one but not sure if they will work together. Our Samsung TV is not so don't want to waste my money.

Being the father of newborn twins, I've agonized over the pros and cons of having either a digital video camera that can take skills, or quality digital camera with video capability. What digital cameras offer the best video options?

If you can afford both, get both. If you can't, then check out the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3. It takes good stills and pretty good 720p video for about $240. Microsoft office 2008 and later work fine on Lion. Office 2004 is a PowerPC application. PPC apps are no longer supported and Lion does not include Rosetta, which was required to run them on OS X. I imagine the Epson / Canon software you are trying to use is the same. Check with them to see if updates are available.

Vertical scrolling with TrackPoint's middle button won't work on MS Word

I have a T42 ThinkPad and the vertical scrolling with TrackPoint's middle button won't work on MS Word and therefore not in my email either. Big pain in butt as I'm so used to using it. Are there any patches that fix that? Any ideas on why it won't work?

It's really weird. My suggestion would be that you install the most up-to-date driver by direct downloading or via System Update (if you haven't updated the driver).

Generate complementary digital signals with dead time between each pulse and controlled by duty ratio

I am to generate two complementary digital signals using NI 9606 conected by RIO Mezannine Card to NI 9683 (Half Bridge DO).
I am able to generate the signals but I am not able to put dead time between high and low signal and also, low and high signal.
Requirement:
(1) When the first signal goes high and the second signal goes low, there should be a controllable dead time.
(2) Also when the second signal goes high and the first signal goes low, there should be a controllable dead time.
I am able to do requirement 1, but I am unable to fulfill requirement 2.
Please have a look at my VI and let me know how to go about satisfying requirement 2.

I have already taken note of the example Tannerite has provided and have built my vi ( attached in previous post) surrounding that example.
Now I require to control the PWM duty cycle as you can see from the vi using a knob and that control refers to both the signal 1 and 2.
Now the signal 1 end and signal 2 generation requires a controllable dead time. Similarly, signal 2 end and signal 1 geneeration also requires another controllable dead time.
I am able to do either one dead time at a time using delay but not two dead time simultaneously.
I feel that I have two put the delays at the appropriate data flow point. I am working on that.
I would really appreciate if you could give some insight on how to solve this dead time issue and generate two complementary waveform with dead times whose duty cycle can be controlled by a knob controller in fronty panel .
I have also posted the required timing diagram for reference as suggested by Tannerite.

Olympus Digital Camera with HP 950PSC printer

Hi there.. i have a IMac G4 flat panel, the pod design.
I just bought a Olympus Camedia X-550 Digital camera... I have a HP 3-in-one printer, scanner, copier, fax. It is model PSC 950.
I know that the Olympus takes a xD memory card. Can those be used for the HP PSC 950? If not.. is there some adaptor i can use.
I don't have the printer hooked up with the computer yet.. as i don't have room for everything on my computer table.
Of course I'd like to download picture onto my computer too.. but don't want them to hog all my memory.. or worse lose them altogether should the computer crash... Wouldn't it be wise to put these photos onto CD disc and can these be the same type of CD disc that i use to burn my music CD's?

When you print, there is a setup dialogue. Select "Page Setup" then your printer should show up in the drop-down box, click "Properties" you should see three tabs. click on advanced and uncheck the box for automatic enhancement. Keep pluggin' away, we'll find something eventually.

Using digital camera with ibook

i have a nikon coolpix 5600 and i cant get it to come up onthe desktop.
my computer recognizes it, when i plug it into the computer (via usb) it automatically opens iphoto to upload the pictures, but it doesnt come up on the desktop or anything. i want it to so that i could upload movies from the camera.
are there any preferences that i'm supposed to set? or is this just going to always be like this and i not be able to use the movie function.
the camera came with a program (picture project) and that used to upload/organize the photos and videos, but it ran very slow and would crash all ther time, so i stopped using and uninstalled it in favor of iphoto.
any advice?

Which version of iPhoto do you have? Version 5 should import movies as well as pictures. You can also use the Image Capture application (in your /Applications/Utilities/ folder) to download the movies and pictures individually.

Select the V2 > MailData folder.
Delete any files in MailData with envelope in the name. (should be 3)
Log out under the Apple in the Menu bar.
Log in
When you open Mail it will re-index your files.

Select the Finder in the Dock. Under Go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you’ll see the Library.

Best Nikon/Sony/Canon Digital Camera with Movie Mode

I'm a senior in high school and I'm interested in film and photography; I lik to record EVERYTHING and take a LOTS of pictures. So I'd like a camera that performs fairly well using both picture and video mode.
And because I'm a senior my budget is about $400. So any tips or suggestions would help a lot.

I have to start by saying that for $400 you are restricted to point-and-shoot cameras, and although you should be able to get a very nice point-and-shoot camera for still photography in this price range the video capability of the camera will be limited.
I would suggest getting point-and-shoot camera for your still images, and a camcorder for your videos. You should be able to get both for around $400. I would say budget $200 for the still camera, and $200 for a camcorder.
