Digital Copy Help
Hello,
Today i went to put Iron Man 2 onto my iPod.
I put the digital copy disc in, Selected iTunes,
iTunes popped up and asked me for a code,
I input the code and it told me:
"This code has already been used. Each code may only be used once"
So how do i get the Digital Copy of Iron Man 2 so i can put it on my iPod?
I think i have once before redeemed it, But how can i get the files?

You can connect to your pb by enabling file sharing in the setting menu. See if you have it enabled.

Star Trek: Into Darkness Digital Copy Help
I have recently purchased and redeemed a copy of Star Trek: Into Darkness. For some reason, the files download just fine, but when I attempt to play them they open the movie player but the screen stays black and the advancement time does not begin to count up. I have tried pressing play, closing and reopening itunes, redownloading the file, restarting the computer, updating itunes, updating video card drvers, and still nothing happens.
Please help. I'd like to watch this sometime soon!!!I bought the movie and while it waws downloading I had no problem watching the film without interruption. Then next day I tried watching the movie and would get the three country screen, I selected US and then nothing. After a while the screen saver would come on. I rebooted and rebooted again. Still the same thing. So I decided to see if I could watch it on my Iphone. Using the Apple TV remote app I went over to movies selected Star Trek Into Darkness and guess what happened, it played on my TV. Don't know if this will help. Good Luck

I've burnt a digital copy of 3 blu ray dvds onto my iTunes, but i cant sync them to my iPad-an error message says device needs to be authorized, but its only authorised to this computer, i've never tried to use it on any other! Can anyone help?!
Thanks for your reply, but you might have misunderstood it a bit. I'm NOT trying to buy a movie. ****, I'm not even in the actual Apple Store, when this happens I'm in the library not the Store part of iTunes.
To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. I fully agree with you and understand your point if there was any purchase going on here, but it's not, it's just - I put a disc into my computer and I can't access it -
Not sure if I am doing this correct. I uploaded a digital copy of a DVD movie to the itunes library. How do I get it to the Ipad? Please help, I have been trying for over an hour. Thank you. Garry
Select the movie to sync (click in box next to the name) in the movies tab in iTunes while your iPad is connected to your computer, with iTunes running and then sync the movie to the iPad.
Make sure you are using the correct iTunes account when you sync as well and that you have authorized your computer. -
HELP! My Dark Knight digital copy wont work!
Hi guys! I know i'm a little late on this, but i got my dark knight blu-ray disk on christmas of 2008, and i never got around to using the digital copy disk on my mac to put it on my Ipod, until today...So once i popped the disk in it came up on itunes and i typed in the redeem code, and it all worked. Once the download was finished, however i clicked on it in my movies section in my itunes, and all that appears is a gray screen for the entire movie! I put it on my ipod and all that appeared was a black screen, then after a few seconds, kicked me back to my movies list.
Anyone know how to resolve this problem?
any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.I have the same problem, it won't work, it gets completed and then gives me an error message saying I don't have a network connection or something dumb, I wish it would work...tried multiple times and it doesn't work.

Trying to redeem my digital copy of Star Trek, the movie, and iTunes tells me I've already redeemed it, or the redemption code is invalid. Any help woud be greatly appreciated
You don't say which film you're struggling to download, I had problems with a-team and I ended up emailing the address on the leaflet, turns out they had a lot of problems with people's codes, they then gave me a new code to use! I have now managed to get the film downloaded?

I have bought a Movie (20th century fox dist) with a digital copy i can download to itunes. everytime i try to redeem the code, itunes say's "session timed out, try again", no matter how fast I try. itunes help/support is no help. anybody had a similar problem and resolved?
I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/ -
When I download the digital copy of the Hunger Games, it stops at 4.0GB and first returns an error code -1309 and then the code -50. Please help me complete the download. I have tried removing the .tmp folder and downloading it again, but each time it stops the download in the same place.
I discovered the solution. The external drive I was saving it to was formatted as FAT32. In that format, the largest files can only be 4GB, which explains why it kept stopping at 4GB. I backed up all the files then reformatted it as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), this is possible since I am on an iMac.

TRYING TO DOWNLAOD DIGITAL COPY OF PROMETHEUS ONTO ITUNES. KEEP GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE OF 5000. CAN ANY ONE HELP?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Help - cannot find digital copy movie on iPad for flight tomorrow
Ok. I'm not apple intelligent... But I do OK. Flying with my 2, 3 year old and 5 month old alone.... I purchased the blu-ray combo pack today of despicable me for the kids tomorrow on the plane! I only have my iPad.... So I downloaded iTunes onto my parents computer, authorized it, loaded the digital copy into iTunes (shows up and plays from computer) and synced without problems....so I thought. I cannot find the movie anywhere on my ipad2 tho! I can only find options for songs and some TV programs we have from iTunes. The only videos in the Video option are music videos that came with a CD purchase. HELP QUICK PLEASE! The insert with the movie says it is compatible with iTunes and Apple devices/mobile devices?
Ok. Only music videos shows up on the videos options. I tap all around and no other options. I looked in advanced options and the iPad/iPod option is greyed out.
Think my iPad synced to my computer.... So for me to sync my computer to my iPad (as in just the movie...) it will erase everything? I feel like I should be ale to drag it over, but I get a red no circle when I try that...... -
Help with digital copy film on mac
hi, i got the hangover blu-ray for christmas and it comes with a free digital copy, which i was very happy about, so i follow the steps and go to the website where it says, sorry, its windows only, this is the first time i have had one that is windows only, now as well on the website's main page there is a help video which shows a video being transferred to a iphone/ipod touch, yet when i select that i have the hangover blu-ray and want the digital copy, it says sorry, windows only. any ways of getting it on my mac would be very helpful and make my christmas. thanks in advanced.
It's probably related to some type of DRM (copy-protection) on the digital copy, and not due to it being any particular type of file format. The DRM scheme probably only works under Windows. And if that is the case, I don't think you will be able to get it to work under Mac OS X, short of running VMware Fusions or Parallels Desktop (or Sun's free VirtualBox) and installing Windows to run under Mac OS X.
Considering the popularity of Macs recently, and higher use of Macs among creative folks, it's pretty stupid for the studio/distributor to make a key feature Windows-only. -

Help with Disney Parks Digital Copy
I just got The Secrets , Stories, and Magic Behind the Scenes Disney Parks on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital Copy the other day and when I try to get the copy on Itunes a message comes up saying it can't be played on my Ipod Touch and it's the right format, can someone help me ?
After you place it in your iTunes movie library there is a Convert to iPod and iPhone Version option in the Advanced tab of iTunes than may work.

ITunes not playing downloaded digital copy of movie - please help
I bought "The Proposal" on Blu-Ray and used the bonus digital copy disc to download the movie to my iTunes page. The download went fine, and the poster art is showing fine. But when I actually play the movie all I'm getting is a black screen. I can see the screen stills for the chapter stops, and everything else seems to be working fine, and yet I get no image nor sound. Does anyone know why this happening? I have the most current version of iTunes.
And on a similar topic, I synched the movie to my iPod Touch 8G (3rd generation) and it says "this movie could not be played" when I try to play it there. I assume this problem is related to the issue in iTunes? My iPod software (I believe) is 2.2.1.
Can someone please help. Many thanks.In iTunes, click on "Store" at the top of your screen, and select deauthorize computer, and then select authorize computer. This will fix the problem.

HT1539 Digital copy code on the DVD Knight and Day saying 'not valid', please help.
I bought the DVD Knight and Day and i have tried to download the digital copy of the film, however when i go to add my serial number for itunes which was on the slip in the dvd box, it says ' this code is not valid', i have entered the code many times and correctly, please help.
From what I can tell, the digital copy offer for Alvin & the Chipmunks expired back in March; at least it did for the Blu-Ray version in the US. This is a scam being run by the movie studios; they advertise digital copies on the Blu-Ray and DVD disks they sell, but don't tell you up front that they're redeemable only for a limited time after the movie is first released.
