Digital envelop and signature

Does SAP NetWeaver 2004s supports digital envelop along with signature?
Do we have to use some third party SAP recommended tool for encrypting documents while sending via email?
And can we show bitmap signature image as digital signature, do we require any additional softwares in this case?

Hi Nitesh
the digital signature supported by SAP Interactive Forms is one where you use a digital certificate to sign, not a bitmap of a hand-written signature as the latter has no legal relevance.
Encrypting a mail you send with an attachment, has nothing to do with an SAP system, but needs to be set up using third-party software. I am not aware of any recommendations by SAP. In general, we point to certified partners (if there are any) - see Integration & Certification Center pages here in SDN - but do not usually recommend a particular one.

I have a new computer. I have installed Adobe X Pro on the new machine, and now I woudl like ot move my preferences and signatures over. What do I need to copy from one machine to the other???

You don't copy signatures, you'd copy digital ID files. The self-signed digital IDs that you create with Acrobat are saved as .pfx files (Win) or .p12 files (Mac). You can get the folder they're stored in via the Security Settings dialog in Acrobat:

Upgraded to Acrobat X and signature field stop working

Upgraded to Acrobat X and IntegriSign signature field stop working. When I open the pdf and click on the signature field I get a "This plug-in is intended for validating signatures signed using earlier versions of Acrobat. To sign using this version of Acrobat, use "IntegriSign for Acrobat 9.0 and later" handler.
Under Perferences in Acrobat, 9.0 and later is checked.
In LiveCycle Designer - IntegriSign is indicated for Signature handler.
Can't figure out how to solve this. I have uninstalled, reset IntegriSign and Adobe settings a trillion times!

We now use Acrobat xi for special active forms we created that include certifications and signature fields, some of the forms are programmed to create other forms, will we have a problem upgrading to DC

Our users use a form template to create other adobe forms with calculated fields, signature fields (using digital signatures)
, and buttons. Will we be able to continue developing these forms if we upgrade to Acrobat DC?

In general ,you would not have any issues and problems moving to Acrobat DC .It has a different user interface and with more enhanced features .
You would be able to develop the kind of forms you are referring to .

Dear folks
Why and How to get certificate and signature for midlet application. I have just void knowledge about that.

Basically you would need certificates so that your midlet may access restricted API's such as sms and cbs (JSR-120) and file system access (JSR-75). If you have signed your midlet you can avoid annoying questions asking you whether you would allow access to such APIs.
Certificates for code signing can be obtained from either Thawte or VeriSign (other providers also exist), the certificate you choose depends on which handsets you would like to support. Handsets support different certificates for code signing.

How to check if a user has clicked on a digital control and changed its value?

Greetings !!!
I am looking for a simple way (without using Windows messages)of knowing if an user has clicked on a digital control and changed its value.
I have tried the key focus property; but I have to click twice to make it work.
If somebody knows a better solution; please let me know.

If you just want to know if the value has changed you can put it in a while loop and use shift registers to see if the value has changed.

I have an Air running Mountain Lion. I also have a digital point-and-shoot camera, but have never downloaded any images from the camera to this Air. If I connect the camera to the Air, what might I expect? Will connecting the camera to the Air by a cable

I have an 11" Air with lots of remaining capacity running Mountain Lion. I also have a digital point-and-shoot camera. I have never downloaded images from the camera to this Air. However, if I just connect the camera to the Air's USB port, with the camera's available cable, and the Air is open, will a program like ImageCapture or iPhoto, auomatically come up, and I can begin to download wanted images? Or, will this sort of connection delete or fry everything on the Air? Do I need any other software on board? Will current Apple onboard programs allow me to download images from my camera and not destroy everything else?

How to input/output a digital signal and acquire an analog signal at the same time?

Acquirement Card: PCI1002L
When I use DasyLab to acquire the analog signals is no problem without digital inputs and outputs,
and when I use DasyLab to input or output a digital signal is no problem also, but when I do that at the
same time, DasyLab tell me the rate is too high and stop.
so, I searched the manual book1 (user guide) for that, it showed me :
To internally equalize measurement time and system time in the analog input, digital input and counter
hardware modules, use the following settings:
   Synchronization: PC Clock
   Sampling rate: <= 5Hz
   Block size: =1
the problem is, if I set the Sampling rate to 5Hz, the speed of the acquirement datas is not enough for my
application.
so, how to improve it? who can give me a example programm for me. thanks!

Have things changed over the years?
I need to syncronise a digital output (Modul NI9474) and an analoge input (AI-Modul NI9203) module. I need to measure time intervals from a flank in signal A to a flank in signal B. I would like accuracies of the order of 1 ms. Currently, the signals are not synchronised, with errors of the order of 2 times the block length (block size x sample rate), sometimes much higher. The best I got so far was a block size of around 20 with a sample rate of 1 kHz.
If I use the master and slave settings on the RTSL settings, my program doesn't run properly.
If I use digital signals for input and output, I can syncronise them with RTSL settings and everything is good, but I can't always do that.
Also, if I do anything in the GUI (such as scrollowing something or going to another window), my output gets screwed up properly.
1. What can be done to synchronise AI with DO?
2. Is there something that can be done to avoid messing up the output when something happens in the user interface? (I know that I am messing up the outputs as they make some valves switch and that is loud).

I was refering to the "sample rate", normally 44.1 KHz, the iPod might not be able to play tracks with a non-standard rate. Otherwise I'm not sure what the issue might be.

decide on a format, possibly one line per indicator.
type the document.
close notepad.
open LabVIEW.
Open the existing VI with all the indicators.
(are you still following?)
look at the diagram.
Who made the program?
Does the code make sense so far?
Is it a statemachine or just a bunch of crisscrossed wires?
Where do you want to add the file read?
How should the file be read (after pressing a read button, at the start of the program ,etc.)
See how far you get!

I have some doubts about your scenario, Is your scenario FTP to MAIL?, do you want to send the file as attachment or you want the file content as mail body or where the body is taken? where is the signature, inside the file?

I need to connect the NI USB-6211 to control a digital to analog convertor chip (AD5541). However, this chip requires three input signals :1) Clock input, 2) Logic input or a synchronization signal and 3) Signal Serial Data input (CS, SCLK, DIN).

You should be able to use the counters to generate a pulse train that could be used for clock and synch purposes.

Producer consumer with analog and digital inputs and outputs

Hi everyone,
I am working on a control system program for some practical test work. Currently I am working on the data acuisition component of the Labview program. My architecture is produced-consumer loops with a que. My system will have analog inputs, analog outputs, digital inputs and digital outputs. It's not a time critical sytem, but I would like all of the data acquisition to be synchronised. I have attached my program as it is at the moment. I am having trouble getting all of the data into the que since I have two data types. Also, I'm not sure if i've synchronised the four read/write sequences correctly. I would greatly appreciate if somebody could take a look at my program and give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

Robert, the specific error that I get is:
Error -200462 occurred at DAQmx Start Task.vi:6

This error occurs at the 'DAQmx write.vi' function. I just want to sent one sample per second, for each channel. I would like the producer and consumer loops to each run once every second.
I have attached part of my code with just the data acquisition and writing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Email images and signatures not displaying cross platform??

I have noticed something odd when emailing people who are using windows. For some reason, attachments and signatures that are images (.jpg files that WILL open in a browser on the PC) or PDF's do not show up in the body of the email I send to them. Yet they are using HTML email, and emails they send to ME do have images showing up correctly in both the body of the email and the signatures on my Mac. Is there something on my end that I need to do in the formating to make this cross platform? Has anyone else run into this?
I'm confused, I thought HTML was HTML....

Same here... in Outlook 2007 many times the Mac email signature ends up as an HTM attachment... Any news on this odd behavior!
