Digital Error

i have a simple vi set up to reset my DAQ board (an AT-DIO-32F),
and then configure a group containing port 0 for input, and then configure
it to run in handshaking mode. I then configure a buffer to take a
certain number of scans and use a buffer control vi to start the
acquisition. WHen I try to run it, everything functions until I try to
use the start command on the buffer. It gives me error -10008, with the
possible reason that the specified group is invalid. I have no idea
what's going on. If anyone could offer enough help to get this started, I
can probably do it from there.
The setup is an AT-DIO-32F and a PC-TIO-10 running in a Gateway
Pentium 120. The PC-TIO-10 is reset at the beginning of the vi, but not
accessed after that. I
t's LabView V. 5.0.1.
Thanks,
Josh

  • What's up with G4 digital errors?

G4 looks like DirecTV in a massive thunder storm: massive digital errors.

It's a tv channel mang! Get with it. Is the issue still happening? It sounds like a temporary provider issue.  Message me via PM if you are still having an issue or call tech support.

  • New digital errors in MPEG video and Animations - Premiere CC

Need help with a new problem,
I imported MP4 files from an a Canon XA-20 (6-months old).  There are dropouts throughout the video (just like bad Mini-DV tape hits).  Each error last 10-24 frames.
So, I attributed it to either the SD card going bad, or the camera not keeping up with rendering to that card at 24 Mbps, and the backup dual card at 4 Mbps.
Here's the strange part.  At the end of my timeline edit, a previous animation now has similar dropouts and glitches.  This is a Digital Juice animation, that rendered and worked flawlessly until now.
I cleared the Media Cache, thinking these were preview file errors.  No - still there.
I've never had digital dropouts in animations.  Either the file works, or Premiere can't import it, because it's corrupt to begin with.
Is anyone having this issue?  Is this:
    - Software related
    - Hard drive error
    - The project file is corrupt
    I'd appreciate any help here.
    God bless,
    Doug Palmer

    Here's an important follow-up:
The backup safety copy of this video file doesn't have the dropouts, when I view it using MPEG Streamclip.  The working copy of the file does have dropouts, when viewed within MPEG Streamclip.  So, these errors are not isolated to Adobe Premiere.
My workflow is editing on a G-Drive (4 Tb Raid), and backing up after each edit to a G-Drive 4 Tb standard drive (using Carbon Copy Clone).
Suggestions on how to circumvent this problem?
    Many thanks.

  • Western digital error code -50

I have a new Western Digital My Book for Mac 3 TB external drive that does not wake up properly after it has been unactive just a few minutes. Had this problem both before and after updating to Maverick. I get a : error code -50. I can't find any reference to this on the net anywhere.

The only solution I've seen is to eject the drive (usually requiring it to be force-ejected, and sometimes even that doesn't work), and then remount the drive. Then it works again. If it doesn't let you force-eject the drive, then you can restart your computer instead.
Apple has known about this problem for at least a few years and have chosen not to address it.

  • Weird Dolby Digital Errors in Some Progr

I read the FAQ on Dolby Digital Exporting and all of that jazz. I have my X-Fi Fatality dumping directly into a receiver via optical cable that decodes Dolby Digital.
However it's weird, in Media Player Classic, VLC, and the like, I'm getting weird errors as Dolby Digital isn't working completely in MPC, and in VLC it kinda goes on and off in little bli
    ps.
(As in the sound is just blips and the receiver is showing dolby digital and then not about twice a second.)
However if I play a video with AC3 audio in Nero Showtime (lol) it works just fine and AC3 is working at 00%.
So my question is what am I doing wrong in VLC and MPC and other programs that is making Dolby Digital not work?
    Any tricks or tips?
    Thanks

VLC is designed to play everything by itself, including your dolby digital data. This can often be very useful, because you don't have to download codecs. Other times, it can be a problem such as when you want to pass the data through without processing. VLC probably has an option to do that, but I haven't used the software enough to know where it is.
In MPC, play your video/audio and check the listing in Play>Filters. Write down (or take a screen shot of) that list and submit it here. It shows the path the audio (and video) takes, and will show if you have a codec which is interfering.

  • Texts keep getting returned--too many digits error, pls help

    Hi, everyone!
I upgraded to 4.3.3, yesterday so far no problems, except this morning my phone started to send me an error message every time I send a text and says "this message could not be sent, you've entered too many digits." How do I fix this? And the number it shows is an 11-digit number because it adds the 1...
Does anyone know what I can do?

Error executeQueryForObject returned too many results
    Typical Error msg:
“SqlMapClient operation; uncategorized SQLException for SQL []; SQL state [null]; error code [0]; Error: executeQueryForObject returned too many results.; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Error: executeQueryForObject returned too many results”
The error is caused for using queryForObject (for a single result) instead of queryForList (when expecting multiple results).
    Example of correct solution
    In DAO:
    public List<UpdatedContractRateDO> getUpdatedCtrctRate(Map paramMap) throws DataAccessException {
    return (List<UpdatedContractRateDO>) getSqlMapClientTemplate().queryForList("charge.getUpdatedCtrctRate", paramMap);
    }

  • Hot Synch problems with cradle and Palm Vx

I had to hard boot my Palm Vx for digitizing errors.  Now I can't get the pda and Hot Synch Manager to work.
How do I set up the pda so if talks to the Palm 414EN.exe desktop download.  I have the old cradle attached
to a serial port on my work PC.
    Thanks,
    Jay Rush
    Post relates to: Palm Vx

Hello Jay and welcome to the Palm forums.
The trick is that once you have installed Palm Desktop 4.1.4, in the HotSync Manager, you use the Setup... menu item to configure HotSync Manager to listen to the COM/serial port your cradle is connected to.  I had my Vx configured to use COM1 on my Windows 2000 box.
Also, make sure that your Windows user account is a member of the Windows administrators security group before you attempt to install Palm Desktop.
    Hope that helps,

  • Can't record sound using the jack in/out on macbook pro 13 os x

    hi
i bought a new macbook pro 13' intel core i5 4gb with the latest os x version 10.8.2. mainly for sound and video editing
yesterday i tried to record sound using garage band and through the mini jack port. once i connected an mp3 player to the mini jack port, the sound prefrences window recognized it as headphones and not as input jack as it did on my friend's same mac with leopard os on it.
it seems like no matter what i try to do (changing instument set up on garage band, restarting the computer with the jack in or out etc...) nothing worked
i bought this mac just so i wouldn't have to deal with these kind of problems....suppose to be a very user friendly os and hardwear.
very dissapointing. please if any one has a clue what can be done?

i'm aware of my other audio interface options, but i would expact this machine to have the basic options every 20 year old pc has, a simple plug and play difault to get audio into my computer. i bought it at b and h in NY and in their specs it says that it's a 'combo kack' - meaning both in and out analog audio ports. after cheaking mac's site it says only headphones.
also tryied to connect a digidesign mini mbox2, through the usb port, and i had to unplug it, shut down the mbp, restart it again etc.. and it also doesn't always work propely and makes all kinds of digital error sounds.
although in this case i can't that the mbox is not damaged.
over all it's very dissapointing. it's my first mac and i figured it would be a much more idiot proof, user freindly work tool.
if you got any other tips i'd appreciate that

  • DVD Playback - Image Quality Issues...

I'm curious to know if others are experience sub-par image quality when playing standard DVDs in the iMac with a 24" screen. The picture of the DVDs is sub-par compared to playback of the same DVD on a regular TV monitor. Also, playback is jumpy and or pixelated (looks like digitizing errors) despite the DVD being new and which plays back normally on a typical DVD player and TV monitor.
Is anyone having similar issues? My computer is new, so this seems odd...

SuperDrives are way more senitive that tray load players, is the DVD scrached or dirty?

  • Is This Really My Music?

Since going through the recent problem with "authorization" of the music in my iTunes folder, where most of it wouldn't play, I'm wondering if I want to purchase more music from the iTunes store. Although Apple was helpful in helping me get the problem resolved, the problem itself pointed out to me that this music isn't really mine at all, and at any time in the future, due to faulty software, or a change of mind on Apple's or the music industry's part, this music could simply be made unplayable as far as my use is concerned. Backing it all up is no solution, because the backup's would also be unplayable. The only real solution is to create CD's with everything on it. But with a large library, and only the need for digital files to play on an iPod, this seems like a lot of work and expense to know that my "purchased music" is actually "MY" purchased music.
Anyone else have thoughts on this?

"If Apple were to "remove" your permission, you could get a refund." Can you imagine the hoops you'd have to jump through for this to happen? And what if a lot of it was purchased years ago. Would you have the necessary proofs? I probably would not.
Ed, your assumption is correct, I'm asking only a practical question. In my case, the authorization for most of my music was assigned to an email address that I never had! How that happened I'll never know. But it's this kind of snafu that worries me. It only takes one small digital error somewhere, and poof, you no longer have access to your music. You may, or may not be able to prove it's yours. I guess I'm going to have to figure out if it's worth it for me. If Apple would upgrade the quality of their files to CD quality, it would make the decision easier.

  • QT and Itunes won't run after re-installs?

I followed advice from here and re-installed QT. When I try to open QT, the QT window pops up for about a second and then closes (it says "switching" before closing). Itunes doesn't do anything. I have re-installed itunes 3 times (from disk and download site). I get a runtime script error when I try to re-install.
I have been using itunes problem free for 2 months. Downloaded a video from music store successfully today, later closed itunes, and it hasn't started since.
    I restored my pc also...nothing.
    Any advice from here????? Please!

Thanks B. I have found my problem and have a temporary solution, but will share here in case this hits others (or in the hope you or someone has a total way out!)
This is self-inflicted. I picked up a program which essentially hijacked QT. Everyone who has done a thousand unsuccessful re-installs of QT, etc. should check for this.
The files I identifed in my start-up folder (hidden but ms anti-spyware lised them in application agents) are gigo.exe and rkpryp.exe. I have, through crazy juggling of re-installs, event blocking using ms anti-spyware, and re-booting with my aircard disconnected, managed to get QT running, although it is slow to start up so other operations are still trying to mess with it.
I have tried a number of programs to clean this problem completely, but none have been effective. Best I can do is with the start-up block. Good news is that qt and itunes operate normally at this point and I lost no media files.
OK, so lesson learned for me, but it may be worth someones times to check this out if you are having similar symptoms. Saw a similar post here today and wanted to add that during this problem I also got the error codes -3 and the other 4 digits error code noted in there. Happened different times and circumstances. Just FYI to others on that.
Also, who is familiar with this hijack program and fix? Anyone please???????

  • Macbook Pro, builtin iSight, can't record sound

I load up iMovie HD, make a new project, choose the "Built-in iSight" from the camera pulldown. I can successfully record video, but it does not record audio through my built in mic. I can conclude one of the following problems
    1) Due to being completely inexperienced with my laptop and mac products in general, I have little clue what I am doing and just need some direction

  • FMS is will fall on an irregular basis.

Logs are written to the server's / var / log / message.
"[12 alphanumeric characters] error:: 0: rsp [the six digits] general protection rip"
    and
"[16 digits] rip segfault at [16 digits] rsp [16 digits] error 4"
Could you please Professor someone if there is such as logs to be confirmed in other possible causes.
    Thank you.

It isn't one bug.  There are a number and vary by java version.  The options are usually things that control optimizations and memory management.
However noting again that that is the SECOND most common cause.  The first, by far, is JNI.

  • Tape capture problems

    Hi,
I made the stupid mistake of using my miniDV master as a dub tape. I made 40 VHS tapes one by one. In doing so, I must have caused a digital error on tape. The miniDV videotape looks and sounds good. However I can not capture the movie to quicktime. I have dubbed the faulty tape and the new tape has the same problem.
Is my only solution to make a analog submaster then go to digital again?

Make sure you leave at least 3 seconds or more for pre-roll after the break when you capture.
The way to dub the tape without bringing over the time code issue is to start the Target deck recording first THEN start the play deck.
This should write new time code and at least will address any TC breaks.
If that doesn't work, you can take the A/V out of the analog jack and bring that in through an A/D converter.
    Good luck.
