Digital movie download - can I move it from one iTunes file to another?

I have gotten several new Blu-ray and DVD sets for Christmas. Included is a digital copy which can be downloaded. Once I download and move it to iTunes, can I export that from one iTunes file on my Mac to another Mac which I own? I haven't been able to find a relevant post.

CWmain, this is something I'm keen to know too. I've got the new Star Trek and Transformers 2 Blu-ray discs with digital copies. I was hoping I could download the movies to my Mac Pro by redeeming the codes supplied with the discs and once downloaded just copy the resulting download files across to my MacBook Pro. I'm hoping that because both machines are authorised with my iTunes account it should just 'work'. Can anyone confirm this is correct before I go ahead?

To make the new computer the syncing computer you have to:
- Transfer iTunes purchases lIke I described above
- Make a backup of the iPod on that computer by connecting the iPod and then right-clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and selecting Back Up.
- Restore the iPOd from that backup
She will have to continue to use your iTunes ID to update the apps prchased with your account. To use her account she will have to log into the computer with her account (iTunes>Store) and change the sign in on the iPod by going to Settings>Store.

Select all the frames you want to copy, right click and select copy frames then select the file you want to paste them into and right click again and then paste frames.

Is there a way to move layouts from one .ibooks file to another?

I originally used a combo (landscape + portrait) template, but, due to what I'm guessing is just the situation when dealing with a combo template, when I finished my book and Preview'd it on my iPad, I wasn't able to tap the side of the screen or slide left/right to turn the page when in portrait orientation like a "regular" ebook (I had to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to turn it). Tapping on the side worked in landscape mode, though.
But I noticed that if I start with a portrait-only template, I can turn the page by tapping/swiping left/right.
I'd like to be able to use the portrait-orientation layouts I created in the combo document in the new portrait-only document I'm building to replace that one. Is there a way to do that--or are layouts from the two different types of templates not cross-compatible?

I think you are correct here, iBA seems only able to use one page size and orientation.

Move iPad from one iTunes acct to another w/o losing content?

I got a new iPad and my wife is taking over the older one. I have an iTunes account, in my name, on my computer. She has her own account on a separate machine, which she's previously used mostly to manage music on a shuffle -- in other words, there are no apps in that library. Is there any way she can associate this iPad with her account, on her computer, without forfeiting the apps that I've bought and installed? We'd hate to have to buy them again, but we really do prefer each having our separate account and library.

As I (mis)understand it, from other tools to the Type Tool, you can just press the T key.
Unfortunately, you cannot press the relevant other key with any kind of Type object selected because that will just add that letter somewhere.
You can see the keystrokes for the different tools when you hover over them.

Hmm. I just discovered that quite some time ago I set up a second account. Don't remember why, but just realized that some songs from my old account wouldn't sync to my new IPad. Managed to get them synced by entering the old account ID (thank goodness it came up as a default). But am wondering if there's any way to move those songs to my current ID. I'm suspecting based on your first sentence above Roger that I can't. That would really suck. I know the next time I have to go through this process I will have forgotten that I have two IDs.

If the credit that you wish to transfer is just a remainder of a previous gift card that you redeemed, then it is not possible to transfer it to your other account.
But if it is unused (redeemed 20 GC and it is still 20 on the account), you may request to have it underedeemed. You need to call the Account Security Team as you will need to verify the account info and also provide the redemption code for the caed.

One of my parents got an Ipod nano as a Christmas gift. They asked me to help set it up. He didn't have an email address so we set it up using my mum's apple ID. She doesn't use itunes and only uses her Iphone for calling and texting. This was all fine and we uploaded his £30 worth of itunes vouchers onto my mum's account. We then tried to purchase something from the laptop and it came up with two security questions. Unfortunately, my mum has no recollection of ever answering these questions and cannot remember the answers to them!
I then set my dad up with an email address and his own Apple ID but his itunes voucher money is still in my mum's account. Is there any way of transferring these funds?

I have created one report, worked on it as a prototype for a project - added datasets , params etc
I now want to start again - from a template that we have just created - with professional layout, images etc - but want to copy the datasets, parameters from the original prototype to a new report (created from the template).
Can I just copy sections of the XML from the original RDL file to the new one ?- like the Datasets and parameters sections
