Digital movie download problems ipad2

Help! I can't view my digital movie downloads on iPad2. They do not appear anywhere in iTunes account after loaded through the DVD and viewable on computer....hum...... Ideas?

Films that have downloaded or synced to the iPad should go into the Videos app - do they not show in there ? Have you tried searching for them by name via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) ?

Am sick of going back and forth with what has turned out to be worthless customer support. Have sent them so much info and pictures, no help. All they do is send me links for instructions on how to redeem the codes. I know how to redeem, I have redeemed at least 50 codes. To them I am obviously an idiot though. To me it seems to be a problem on their end, but can't get an answer from them on why it is telling me code redemption is unavailable. Please help! Anybody!

Confirming my suspicions with every passing hour. Support on this forum is non-existent like the support from Apple support. But, you got my money now... why would you care?

How do I delete digital movie downloads from I cloud

I have a half dozen or so digital movie downloads in iTunes. I think they were originally downloaded onto my iPad 2. And then shared via the cloud with all of my Mac devices ( MacBook, iphone 5, iphone 4, iPad 2 and iPad 1). One of the movies is copying itself onto my Mac hundreds of times. I highlighted the copies and clicked delete. Clicked move to trash. They all cleared and then started popping back up at about 1 copy every 2-3 minutes. How can I stop this? Thank you for any help.

I'm not sure you can delete them from iCloud. They don't use your personal iCloud storage. You can hide them though, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.
If iTunes is acting up, try signing out of your Apple ID (Store>Sign Out). Then quite iTunes (command-Q), restart your Mac, then go back and open iTunes again and sign back in with your ID (Store>Sign In). See if works properly now.

i have a few dvds with free digital movie downloads. i downloaded them to itunes via my ibook. but now my husband wants to sell my laptop since he just bought me a ipad (we have a pc). so will i lose my movies i just downloaded?

You should DE-AUTHORIZE the computer you are selling BEFORE you sell it. In iTunes, choose DE-AUTHORIZE. That will free up your number of authorized computers. If you DON'T do that before selling the computer, you are stuck.

I have been having downloading problems for the last few days and despite all the tricky advice. iTunes jut can't solve the problem.
These are some of the actions taken:-
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Turn off Anti Virus (didn't like that one!) Then uninstall anti virus!!!!!! No!!!
Change preferences in iTunes
Update iTunes...etc etc etc etc etc! ZIP!
Think I will go back to Big Pond Movies as is a lot easier and less stressful.
Do I Tunes think everyone has telescopic eyesight? The text is so small (just like all their printed matter) have to use a magnifying glass.
As you can detect, I am less than happy.

Using iTunes 11 on my Mac and having problems too. I'm not getting an error message however.
When I enter the code, I am prompted for my Apple ID/password, which I enter, but nothing happens after that. I've also had iTunes ask me for my password repetedly even after entering it, with no sucsess in downloading the file.

Digital movie download - can I move it from one iTunes file to another?

I have gotten several new Blu-ray and DVD sets for Christmas. Included is a digital copy which can be downloaded. Once I download and move it to iTunes, can I export that from one iTunes file on my Mac to another Mac which I own? I haven't been able to find a relevant post.

CWmain, this is something I'm keen to know too. I've got the new Star Trek and Transformers 2 Blu-ray discs with digital copies. I was hoping I could download the movies to my Mac Pro by redeeming the codes supplied with the discs and once downloaded just copy the resulting download files across to my MacBook Pro. I'm hoping that because both machines are authorised with my iTunes account it should just 'work'. Can anyone confirm this is correct before I go ahead?

HD movie download problems (error 1000)

I have recently purchased two HD movies (which I have downloaded) and just purchased Guardians of the Galaxy. Every time I try to download it onto my computers it gets to the end and I get an error (error 1000), I can watch it on my apple TV, but it wont download on my macbook pro or iMac. Everything is up to date as far as software goes. I have had the same internet for all the movies I have purchased and never had any problems with HD movies. Any suggestions?

In my professional opinion, you should avoid house blackouts while downloading any kind of data. Keep a generator handy.
Sorry, I have nothing to offer in assistance. This is all uncharted, untried territory. I would hope that ATV would be able to figure out that a partial download had occurred and continue from wherever it needed to for a clean, complete download.

Classic operating systems have nothing to do with phones. I've asked this thread be moved. Movies require significant bandwidth. This means unless you are somewhere with WiFi, chances are you don't have enough bandwidth to download the movie. Also Apple's browsers on the Phone lack Adobe Flash support, which is used by many movie makers online. Without knowing the source of your movie it is hard to resolve the problem.

I tunes movie download problem

I purchased a movie on my i pad but then was notified that there was not enough room to download it.
I then went on my computer and logged on to itunes to download the movie there. It indicated that the movie was purchased but it didn't show up on my list of purchases and there didn't seem to be a way to download it.
Any idea of how to download it on to my computer?

Thanks DaddySimon, I can get onto itunes shop no problem at all, the problem starts when I click on the tab to try to redeem my gift as it then tries to go to a secure site to download the movie. We have also had the same problem recently on e.bay. I don't know how to re set my keychain. Any help would be most appreciated.

I downloaded two movies. The downloads were interrupted but they finally completed. When I started to watch them, the video appears to be playing but the screen is black.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

MacBook Air and Safari movie download problems

I bought a new MacBook Air in August 2013 (OS 10.8.5). After migrating all my files from my iMac I have encountered problems with downloading movies that are playing in Safari (v 6.0.5). On my iMac (OS 10.6.8) and Safari (v 5.1.10) I could go under "Window", select "Activity" and see the files associated with the movie. I could select the movie that was playing, copy the url & then past it into "Downloads" (also under the "Window"). The movie would then download to my preferred folder & I could then view it on my iMac. I can't find the "Activity" or the "Downloads" options under the "Window". How do I get the movies to download now?

The next time you have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Scroll back in the log to the time you noted above. Select any messages timestamped from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
