Hello i have recently got a new white 32 gb ipod touch and i have download itunes so i am able to download songs but my laptop says there is no digital signiture please help

What is the exact wording of the error message?
Are you getting the message when trying to install iTunes?

"Damaged" and now can't reinstall Air.... with "broken digital signiture"?

When I restart, a window pops up and say my Air is "damaged" and I must uninstall and reinstall the program.
(Maybe it had something to do with my having done systerm restore, but not sure).
I uninstalled but cannot reinstall it now. I can downlaod the file, but When I click the "run", it just disappear and it is not installed.
I ran AVG in case my computer was infected. There is no infection, but it says the Air file which I downloaded
had "broken digital signiture". What does it mean? And why I cannot download Air ?
By the way, there are many websites I cannot go, as basic as Facebook, and very slow and layout is odd.
Is this because my not having Air?

A digital signature works by storing a numeric representation of a file or set of files called a hash. If the files are changed, the hash also changes. If your digital signature is "broken" then this could mean that the file has changed since it was signed or it could mean that you computer, in the bad state that it seems to be in, can't compute the hash correctly. I assume you have rebooted at least once.
Microsoft has an install cleanup tool, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301, that sometimes helps in situations like this.
And no, the presence or absence of AIR on your system has no affect on any websites.

I was asked to prepare the technical infrastructure in order for end users (purchasing/procurement department) to assign digital signitures in Purchase Orders produced by SAP.
Do you know where do I have to look first in order to get appropriate information (i.e. configuration guide, etc.)?

HT1926 cant download itunes. message says digital signiture not valid. windows 7 system

i can not download itunes to this system. keep getting a message that the digital signiture is invalid for apple. any ideas?

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Satelite A500-ST5606 Digital Signiture Errors after restoring from the Recovery Disks.

I had to replace my hard drive, I reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit) from my recovery disks. I get a digital signiture error the following drivers:
Display Adapters
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
Network Adapters
Sound drivers.
Also unable to update windows using windows update, I get service is not running with it.
Please advice.

Blocked no current digital signiture

I have been using Firefox for years and about a week ago it just quit working. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall from the website, when attempting to download I got an error message that said this download is blocked because it does not have a current digital signature. I was able to download anyway however I can not open firefox when I click on the shortcut. When I uninstalled I moved all the files not uninstalled to another folder so the new install would generate all new files. Still no success. I would appreciate your help.

PDF Fillin Forms with Digital Signitures - Roaming, LDAP

Hello, my organization is trying to be more "Green" by taking regular PDF documents that use to be printed, filled in by hand, signed and then routed... To a PDF fill-in form that contains a Digital Signature Block. I can easily and successfully create PDF fill-in forms, where Im running into an issue is with the Digital Signatures.
I can easily create a Digital Signature that is stored on my local computer and sign documents then forward them via email on to the recipient. However, what we would like and have been failing and making happen is to set up a signing server where the signer can fill out the PDF form and then sign the document by pulling their digital signature from a Directory Server, in our case LDAP or Active Directory.
From the information that I have found on the web I know this can be done without use of expensive third party applications. I'm trying to find a reasonable way to do pdf forms that can be emailed to our patients to fill out and return (submit) to us. Can you help? Of course, my patients are not going to have special software to enable them to fill out the pdf form. I need to be able to do everything to make it work from my end. I hope you can help.

Software update Digital signiture problem

I just purchased a brand new powermac G5 Quad 2.5ghz. after initial setup software update ran, and after it checked and found updates I recieved this error message:
"The digital signature for this package is incorrect. The package may have been tampered with or corrupted since being signed by “Apple”."
I have never seen this before, and cannot seem to fix it. I have searched these forums and tried deleting all the softwareupdate.plist files and restarting. Does anyone have a solution for this? I have a 15inch powerbook and I've never had an error doing a software update.

The mechanism of Software Update forms from the registration procedures upon entering license section and admin authentication received securely to install Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.4.x. Some identifiable information such as computer ID, the unique MAC address, a node information and the registered information are transmitted to an Apple server with the digital signature.
I believe this server differs from the dot mac server with the reception system that includes time zone. Presumably, grabbed your information from the dot mac for the registration results in a logic-assertion failure (perhaps unrecoverable) with the error message-- lost or corrupted the consistency of the client information as well as the packages stored in the directory. Software Update routines may no longer be able to handshake with the server. Because, Software Update server audits localizations used the license, validating some XML document, parsing a distribution script for each scheduled software to be updated.
The fundamental is a rock-solid Mac OS X Tiger multi-layed security architecture.
I cannot say for sure if the following troubleshooting can fix the problem. If you like, try removing the folder and files onto the desktop's temporary folders. Restart the computer to test the recurrence.

Unable to verify Digital Signature in workspace

Hi All,
I m trying to use VerifyPDFSignature DSC from Digital Signitures. The process works fine when i invoke it from the workbench but i am unable to get it working from the workspace. So i guess that must have something to do with the rendering service.
My form variable is a PDF document of type xfaForm
I am using Default Render ES update 1 as my renderer.

yes, you were right i was passing my xfaForm variable to the VerifyPDFSignature DSC which was the cause for its failure, but somehow i am not able to find a way to convert the data in my xfaForm variable into PDF. i am basically facing two problems.
1. How to extract the data a workspace user fills in the form. The two services usually used to extract the data; exportData from FormDataIntegration Serivice and ProcessFormSubmission from Form service both expect the input to be a PDF.
2.I tried using Rendering service along with xfaForm(by selecting the renderer in the advanced settings when we create a variable of type xfaForm) but this still does not seem to solve my problem because although the Rendering service claims to render form into PDF, but the services i mentioned in point 1, dont seem to recognize it as PDF. i am getting an error saying "Malformed input PDF".
I seem to be cluelessly lost in this process.

Can't get it to work in IE8 or Firefox (XP machine)

I am utterly frustrated with this. I tried so many ways to do this.
First I tried in IE8, went to options and turned the security to Medium and made everything enabled. Turned off my Antivirus program and went back to this site and the download failed. Keep telling me the *.cab is a unknown publisher and failed the digital signiture check. Who the heck cares about this crap????? I ran into this so many times in IE8 and wish there is a way I can go back time and install IE7 except I don't have a copy of that. I HATE IE 8.
Then I uninstall and installed the player manually outside of the system and even disabled the DEP too. Still not working. Can't find shockwave in the add-on either.
Then I tried Firefox, got everything to work, then after click the install now option in Adobe's DLM Plug-in screen, while it is trying to install I got this error "Firefox can't not install at http://platformd/adobe.com/NOS/GetPlus/1.6/gp.xpi, Not a valid install pack -207."
HELP!!!!!!

Don't use the download manager; the offline installers work better
for Internet Explorer: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
for other browsers: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe
Make sure that no browser windows are open when running the installers.
P.S. you can revert to IE7 by uninstalling IE8.

MTP USB Device Driver problem

Hi Guys
I currently have an iPhone 5S and I am trying to connect it to my Windows 8.1 Computer so that it appears as Mass Storage, enabling me to back up photos and videos. I noticed int the Device manager that the "MTP USB Device" has an esclamation mark on it and it states that the driver was unable to verify the digital signiture of the device and cannot be used (Code 52)
I have tried various methods to try and resolve this issue but I have had no success.

I Contacted Apple support and Microsoft Support but they were unable to help me. The device was working until a week ago and suddenly stopped showing up as a Mass Storage device. It is visable in iTunes and can be used to USB tether, but not USB Storage because of this MTP USB Device error.
Has anyone got a fix for this that actually works?

Update.
I have found out that the driver file for MTP USB Device is the file winusb.sys.
The problem is that it is not digitally signed and windows 8.1 can not verify it's signiture. This is why there is an esclamation mark on the device in device manager.
I have tried various procedures to fix the problem but none have been successful yet!
If the driver file was digitally signed, the driver would be fine.
The search goes on..

Opening signed documents crashes Acrobat 9.4.4.

This issue happens with Actobat 9.4.3 and 9.4.4:
With one or more PDF files already open (could be a published document simply open for review), open a document that includes a digital signature.
The file with the digital signiture opens, but then so does a Data Execution Prevention dialog box like this:

This happens when opening any signed document, as long as there is any other document already open (digitally signed or not). It is very annoying.
The OS is Windows XP Pro SP3.

You need to uninstall Adobe Reader and re-install it to get the issue fixed. It is important to uninstall all versions of Adobe Reader that you may have in your system. Ovi suite downloading issues

I can't load ovi suite no matter how many times I've tried! I am using windows vista and have updated drivers, removed all nokia software and still I get a message saying.....Unknown Publisher error code 3, "no digital signiture". It's driving me nuts! I could never load it when I had my N97, and now I have the N8 I want to get this sorted.
Is there anywhere in London that I can take my laptop too to show someone?

I am assuming that you have downloaded Ovi Suite and you get the message when you try to install it, in which case -
All our Vista machines are now upgraded to Win 7 so I can't test this but I think the message you got can be the same as one can get if the file is blocked by Vista's file protection control which it imposes on what it thinks are suspicious files coming from other sources. It is a long shot that is the problem but I have run into it before with downloads - so if not already done, in Windows Explorer right click the Ovi Suite installation file, select "Properties" and under the "General" tab check down the bottom right hand corner and see if there is an "Unblock" button. Hopefully there is as it is an easy fix, just click it and you should be good to go.

B1DE installer = signature problem

Sorry to bother you and I really did read dozens and dozens of entries in this forum about this already, but to no avail.
I've been running a vb6 created addon for a while (it even runs nicely in debug mode and in 2004 with new license key). Now I'm deploying it against an sbo2005 using the B1DE. The deployment now finally works, but I cannot get the addon running: wrong digital signiture according to sbo.
The .ard file is recreated <b>several</b> times, version of vb6 executable file is 1.4.0.0 as well as vb.net installer version created through b1de in VS2005 is 1.4.0.0. Ard file generator has as input in batch file version 1.4.0.0, in sari table entry in common-db is created with version 1.4.0.0. When I look at properties of .exe file of final installer in windows it reads version 1.4.0.0. indeed.
File addonslocalregistration.sbo looks fine as well.
So... why am I still getting problem with signature when I trying to run addon?

*Problems uninstalling itunes/quicktime after using windows install cleanup

I was having problems installing itunes/quicktime 7.6. Everytime I tried to install it it would say that it does not have a valid digital signiture. So one of the suggestions I saw on this forum was to install windows install cleanup and use it on itunes and quicktime. So I did but all it did is mess up my old itunes/quicktime. Now when I go to try and uninstall itunes and quicktime from the add and remove programs in the control pannel it does not even show itunes or quicktime in my program list. Any suggestions??

Ok, Update. I was able to remove itunes and quicktime manually after going into my windows task manager and to the processes tab and ended all processes involving itunes, apple, or quicktime. So now when I install itunes/quicktimes via apples site when it gets to the end it just disapears and nothing happens. I searched to see if it installed anything and it didn't, didn't even give me any reasons why. Can anyone help me with this?? It would help me a ton!
