Dimbuild causes network error 10054 "cannot send data"

Can anyone help with this? I have an ASO app that I run dimbuilds on every month. Every month I get the same error message when the dimbuild runs: Error 1042012 - Network Error [10054]: Cannot send Data. If I make an exact copy of the app and run the dimbuild on the copy, I get no errors and the dimbuild works fine. But when I run it on the original app, I always get the error message. Yet this month's app is a copy that the dimbuild worked on last month. Does anyone out there know why this keeps happening? Any suggestions deeply appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Anaguiu, I would clear the database and build dimensions using dimbuild rulewith no data in database and then load data using data load rule. I know this is a silly question, but have you started the Essbase server?Especially the first time you start it, it wants start up info. Even if you installed it as a service, start it manually (look for Essbase.exe in Hyperion\essbase\bin) The messages it gives you might give you a clue

I am using Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1
I'm getting this error when i'm trying to refresh my Planning database.

Any suggestions?

First make sure your essbase is up and running. If it is then:
Increase the values for NETDELAY and NETRETRYCOUNT.
Check the index cache size, data cache size, and data block size to make sure that they are within the recommended ranges.

"...an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone" - caused by latest iPhone update today?

I've been syncing my iPhone to my (non-apple) desktop for several months without difficulty.
Today I accepted the latest upgrade to my iPhone software.
Since it installed, it will not sync.
It gives the error message "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone "Steve's iPhone" because an error occurred while sending data from the iPhone." After rebooting the desktop, the error repeats, and it's now in hour 2 of the continuing message "Syncing Steve's iPhone (Step 2 of 2) - Finishing sync"
Has anyone else run into this Undocumented Feature of the latest upgrade?
As bugs go, this is pretty serious for those of us who depend on syncing the iPhone and desktop for our business!

Tried rebooting the phone, and now it works.
Guess there's 2 lessons here -
Boot again when installing new SW, even if the phone reboots itself during installation, and
Boot to see if that fixes a problem before posting it.

Why Firefox for Android is causing The Linux kernel to send data packets to random sites?

I've recently installed CyanogenMod on my Nexus 5. Shorty after installing CyanogenMod I decided to install Firefox on my device from here:

Afrer installing it I decided to install a frontend application for IPtabels from here:

After installing it I blocked some applications from accessing my data networks, including The
Linux kernel. After some hours passed I took a look at the firewall log and I noticed that the firewall
has blocked several data packets from accessing the internet. The log also showed the IP addresses where
the data packets were being sent. I decided to find out to whom these IP adresses belonged. The results were
rather strange. One particular IP belonged to a French ISP, one on the other hand belonged to a Finnish ISP.
Finally I found one IP that made some sense. That IP belonged to Mozilla. However, at this point I couldn't be sure
that Firefox was causing this behaviour. So I did a little test. I re-installed CyanogenMod on my Nexus 7.
I connected my Nexus 7 to my WiFi-network at my home and I installed the same frontend application for IPtables
on my device. I configured the firewall the same way I did for my phone, so The Linux kernel was also blocked
from accessing any data networks. I surfed the web with my device and did some other things with it. I also checked the
firewall log from time to time, and no applications showed up in the log. So I installed Firefox on my device. And immediately
after installing it The Linux kernel was trying to send data packets to the same IP addresses. Now I was almost completely sure
that Firefox was indeed causing this strange behaviour.
Here are some addresses where The Linux Kernel was trying to send data packets:

Conclusion:
*I downloaded CyanogenMod from the projects official site and I checked the md5sums of the files
I downloaded before I flashed anything onto my device
*I installed all the applications on my devices (including Firefox) from here: https://f-droid.org
*I didn't do anything stupid with my devices so I dont' think that they were infected with malware
*I changed Firefox settings so that it didn't share any data with Mozilla
So I'd like to have some answers to the following questions:
1)Why Firefox is causing the Linux kernel to send data to these IP addresses and is there any way
to turn this "feature" off?
2)Do the other versions of Firefox and other Mozilla software (Thunderbird etc.) also include this form of snooping?

About ~20 hours later, this ended up solving itself. We can send email using the '.icloud' email from both the iPad and iPhone. Advise would be 'wait' before you start seeking alteranatives like yahoo, hotmail, etc. This definitely is a convenient way to keep all your 'cloud' information in a centralized place, including the common email...

Error message: "Cannot send alert message to browser" on Rule Policy

Hi Experts.
Have anybody experience with the error message "Cannot send alert message to browser" on Rule Policies? The condition-check of the rule is working fine. But the error message shown appears in the web UI Similar exception on Complaints Error Message but no answer. Is it possible that the SSL settings are responsible for that error message? Any ideas? on that line of code: line 91: sam_sender->send_to_client( message = sam_message ).
I looked inside:
- In the method "_SEND (CL_SAM_SESSION_QUEUE_SENDER)"
line 101: http_client->receive( EXCEPTIONS http_communication_failure = 1 ... )
The sy-subrc will be set to 1.
I looked inside:
- In the method "IF_HTTP_CLIENT~RECEIVE (CL_HTTP_CLIENT)"
line 885: reason = response->get_header_field( 'sap-icmclnterror' ).
Here the "reason" will be set to "Native SSL Error".
Any ideas how to solve this problem?

ITouch error Message Cannot send Mail.

My first generation iTouch has quite sending mail. I can receive email, but can not send. When I try to send mail I get the error message

The connection to the outgoing server "smtp.mac.com:jbleeg" failed.
I am using apples Mail program and have it set up as imap. When I right click on the inbox and choose Edit Imap Accout, I can see the incoming and out going settings match my ipod setting screen.
This used to work, but when apple went to this "cloud" and .me, it quit working.
I rarely send email from my iTouch so this is not a big problem, but annoying.
Any suggestions.

The other thing you might want to try on your touch is to just delete the mail account and re-enter it. This seems to fix a number of problems with e-mail when you are getting these types of errors.

Switched wireless network and now cannot send emails

I just switched wireless network and now cannot send emails. i have checked with my email provider and all settings are correct.

Depending on what wireless network you switched to if it is not connected to your ISPs network most all ISPs block sending mail from clients that are NOT part of there network, IE have an account with them.
So if you switched from your home wired/wireless network that uses XYZ ISP to a friends network that uses ABC as there ISP and you try to send mail through YOUR ISPs Mail servers it will fail because YOU do not have an account with them and you are trying to use a different ISPs mail servers. This is to stop Spam emails being sent out from other mail servers that can't be tracked by the ISP you are connected to.

I'm trying to clear a (BSO, v 11.1.2.1) database, and it's failing with the following message:
Error: 1013020 Cannot clear data for database [Daily] while other users are connected.
There are no other users connected first of all. Second of all, I've never had a database fail to clear just because other users were connected. Has anyone seen this before?

WHen ever u start essbase application ..there is services starts in task manager called "ESSSvr" . The number get increased when keep opening as number of application you open ..So what i say is when u see no users in sesssion and no batch runs ahead , u can stop the Application in EAS and automatically it will log off all the users from that respective application ..And then start again the application and u can perform ur task
this usually happnes when some one is connected with excel addin or Same EAS open by another user remotely..thats what i have seen in my exp's

like 2 weeks ago i called in to att to see how much is the data plan and it would end up costing $30.
so i was like screw that. well they figured that i got a new phone replacing the LG shine. so they asked

ever since this conflict i can't send picture messages. i get that problem. everytime i attempt to send a picture

Error 61 when sending data from client and back from server.vi

Trying to generate and send a data from client.vi and adding the numbers generated and sending it back to the client .In client the data is received only once and an error 61 occurs .How do I get rid of this error?I have attached the two files for reference

You can certainly use and application started by WebStart to send data to a server.
However, the Sandbox restrictions allow you to contact the server the application was loaded from without asking for permission first (i.e. signing your application and requesting the proper permissions in your JNLP file).
The JNLP BasicService can be used to retrieve the URL (and therefore the server) the application was loaded from.

Error appears: Cannot send message. this message cannot be sent at this time - has been appearing everytime i try to send e-mail for the past week!

For the past week I have not been able to send both simple and attached messages through my icloud e-mail.
The error reads: this message cannot be sent at this time. i have the latest version of Firefox, I have even changed my password in hopes that this would resolve the issue, but alas, it hasn't worked. HELP!

i keep getting an error message when trying to print. window says "sending data to printer" but nothing happens and i get an error message.
