Ding sound when I Export Picture Image

Hi All,
I am using 'Export Image' Invoke function of Picture control to export Picture control's data to Clipboard. The function performs as it is intended to but in 64 bit version of LabVIEW, I hear a ding when I use this function. I do not hear any ding in the 32 bit version. Also, there is no ding in the development mode, I only hear it in the 64 bit EXE.
Is this a bug?

Do you hear the ding on the 64-bit executable on other machines too or just the development machine?
Yes, I hear Ding on all the other machines I run the executable.
Also how have you determined that the invoke node is the part of the code causing the ding?
I removed invoke node from the code and did not hear any Ding in the EXE.

  • When I export an image with a Green label, it exports with a "Green" keyword! How do I prevent this?

I've added a Green color label to an image. When I export the image as a JPEG and then upload it to Flickr, I find a "Green" keyword that I don't want. How can I turn off this behavior -- i.e., exporting color labels as keywords -- while preserving the ability to export all the keywords I added manually?
I know the keyword is coming from Lightroom because I temporarily changed the Color label's legend to "GGreen" and the keyword "GGreen" appeared in the Flickr upload dialog.
I inspected the IPTC data of the exported JPEG image with a 3rd-party program (Irfanview) but could not find "Green" (or "GGreen") in the file, but all my manually-added keywords are there.
I've tried all of Lightroom's Export dialog Metadata settings.
    Thanks,
    -- Sam

New information and some screen grabs!
The new information is that the unwanted label "Green" (or whatever color label is selected) appears as a Flickr Tag only when no manually entered keywords are attached to the image in Lightroom. Adding even one keyword in Lightroom and repeating the export-from-Lightroom-then-upload-to-Flickr process results in no "Green" tag in Flickr.
The images are a) the Flickr upload screen showing the "Green" tag; b) my Lightroom Metadata presets -- everything unchecked; c) my Lightroom Export dialog panel.

  • Only sound, when I export HDV project with Quicktime

I'm working with Final Cut Pro 5.0 (yes I know I have to upgrade) with material from HV 20.
When I export my finished project with the export to Quicktime opt. I can't watch the movie in Quicktime player, Itunes, VLC or MPEG Streamclip, only in FCP. The Sound is there but know picture.
since I do not yet have DVD Studio I know have a problem, since I cannot make a DVD out of it.
Or can I? Why is there no picture? How can I do it the best?
I also tried exporting it through compressor to H.264 and quicktime. That as well didn't work.
    Grateful for help!!!
    /David

Make sure that you have the current HDV codec present in your /Library/Quicktime folder. If you don't have the codec you will sound but no picture. The codec is automatically installed when installing FCS--but interestingly I had to manually install it from the FCS install packages using Pacifist when I upgraded to Leopard (on my PPC machine, the Intel one was OK).
Unfortunately Apple does not make the codecs available for download--which makes no sense. If you want to pass an HDV movie over to another machine you must manually install the Apple HDV Quicktime codec. I don't even know if Apple considers this some sort of violation of their License.

  • When I export an image from Illustrator, my placed images are distorted

    Hi,
I've rendered an image in Maya, saved it as a .psd, and placed it into Illustrator. In Illustrator, I get very jagged curves and lines on my artboard and when I export to a bitmap (see attached...the first image is before Illustrator, the second is after export from Illustrator). I have saved my Photoshop file to the EXACT size it needs to be, so there's no scaling.
    Please help!
    Thank you!

  • I get no sound when I export.. help ?

Hello ! I have been using Adobe Audition for a few weeks now. It is a great piece of software. I mostly did editing and so I just saved a single track and that would work.. But yesterday as me and my friends were doing a project.. we had multiple tracks (3 if I remember) and so i go and press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+M to export it and I do so. IT exports without any error messages and when it finishes it brings me to the edit track.. and there was nothing.. no lines no sound nothing.. So I go and check the WMA that I just exported and listen to it.. Nothing no sound no static nothing.. Can anyone please help me ? I was forced to use WavePad which I do not like to mix with..
    Cheers.
    Alex.

Check the output settings in the Audition Mixer carefully - generally it's a setting in this area that causes these problems.

  • Turn of click sound when taking a picture

I have a BB Tour 9630.  Is it possible to disable the clicking shutter sound the camera makes when you take a pic?

There is nothing natively on the device that will do that.
There are a couple of 3rd party apps that do, though.  One is called BerryAnnoying and *I think* QuickLaunch will do it but don't quote me on that one.

  • I am losing sound when I export my quicktime video clip into imovie

    Hi everyone,
I have a sony cybershot camera that also takes video. These videos play fine on quicktime but could not be used in imovie until I converted their format using quicktime pro. However, when I do this I get the video but it drops the sound. I did some investigating and found that the quicktime player keeps the audio and video seperate and for some reason the video is not sent when I change formats (i.e. .mov to mpeg-4). Does anyone know how I can get the sound to transfer as well so I can use the whole video + sound in imovie.

Does anyone know how I can get the sound to transfer as well so I can use the whole video + sound in imovie.
Sony Digital cameras usually save their video files as "muxed" MPEG-1 (MPEG VX) content which is "playback only" compatible with QT applications. Thus, when you use QT based applications to perform your conversion, only the video content makes it through the conversion process. In this case you need to use a third-party, MPEG-based utility to perform your conversions. iSquint (free), MPEG Streamclip (free), FFmpegX (donation-ware, and Visual Hub (pay-ware) are all popular Internet downloads which will work for you. iSquint is probably the easiest to use but limits your conversion to MPEG4/AAC and H.264/AAC compression formats which are compatible with iMovie '08. I prefer MPEG Streamclip which is more full featured and allows the use of additional formats such as DV and AIC/AIFF but is not as simple to use.

  • How to hide the file name (the bizarre number assigned by the camera) when exporting an image version in aperture from an album. Pl understand I want to keep the file name in the project library version.

how to hide the file name (the bizarre number assigned by the camera) when exporting an image version in aperture from an album. Pl understand I want to keep the file name in the project library version.

Within Aperture you have Images, which are constructed on-the-fly from two files (the Master and the Version).  You get an image-format file _only_ when you export an Image.  You select the file name (usually a scheme) when you create an image-format file (that is, when you export).  Look under "Aperture→Presets→File Naming" for built-in Presets.  You can, of course, create your own or customize any provided.
The Preset is applied to only the file newly created by your "export" command.  It is not applied to the Image in Aperture (unless you rename your Versions or your Masters).

  • I am having trouble exporting from LR4. After I have developed the photo in LR and export the image, then when I open it in Photoshop, it does not retain any of the developing I just did in LR.

When I export my image and open in Photoshop CS5, none of the developing I have just done in LR4
is in the file. It is basically exporting a raw image with no developing.

    Exporting is the wrong procedure.
In Lightroom, right-click on the photo and select Edit In

  • No sound when exporting from imovie 3,03

After having read most of the posts related to sound troubles, I still can't figure out why I can't get any sound when I export from imovie 3,03.
I almost know the entire dan slagle site, and checked every button to play with, I've tried many export or preferences settings (including various depths or rates) but got no result at all.
Surprisingly, when I grab the .mov file to some converters (ffmpegx), the expected audio part looks to be there, but remains silent (for me, meaning all of the bits at 0).
