Diplay attachment file in PO output

Dear Experts ,
I have attached a few files ( .jpg/.xls/.doc) along with the PO in SAP using "Services for Object "> Create> Create attachment .
Now I want the list of files attached with the PO to be listed in the PO print output .
Can anyone please tell me how can this be done ? what reference tables need to be used ?
We donot have DMS at our client location .

Yes u have understood it correctly . I have attached the document without DMS .
But I dont want to take tghe Printout of the documents .
What i want is to just pick the "file name" attached with the PO in the PO output .
Can atleast this be done without DMS ?

How to add "Comments" and attach files onto a form?

My server is LiveCycle ES 2.5, trial version, Turnkey install / Express mode with Reader Extensions.
Client side has IE8 and Reader X 10.1.2.
User interface is the standard out-of-the-box WorkSpace ES.
I have an application that routes a PDF form through a Workflow,
the input/output of the User Tasks is a Document variable that points to the PDF form.
I know that in the WorkSpace, ther's a built-in Attachment "tab" where the user can attach files and get them routed along with the form.
But how about Reader's "attach file" (the paper clip) and annotations (the yellow sticker)? how to allow users to use those features?
I tried it in the WorkSpace, and when the form is loaded in the IE window, those features were disabled.
How to enable them?
Do I need to modify the standard Render service? and add 'Apply Usgae Rights' or something?
is there an easier way that I missed?

Attachments are lost if your form submits as XDP. If you change the submit type to PDF then server that same PDF back to the next user, the attachments will be there. If you decide for other reasons, you still want to submit as an XDP, take a look at this: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4316578#4316578

Display Material |Attachment File in ALV report

Dear All,
I have to make ALV report for mutliple material attachment file.I want to display material wise attachment where user can see in report. We can see attachment list in Service For Object button in MM03 tcode for single material. And i also i do not want attachement list on tool bar where like MM03 is dispalying.
I need ALV report for materialcodewise image/attachment file like,
MaterialCode File
A101 any filename
B101 any filename
So user can click on file base on material, then file will open and he can see image/attachment.
Please guide me for above mentioned query.

You can have multiple attachments for a sinlge material. You need to consider that in your report.
for getting the list of attachments using the static method CL_BINARY_RELATION=>READ_LINKS.

Once you get the list of attachment populate your output table using the same.
you can use FM SO_OBJECT_READ to get details of attachment.
Make the column with attachment as hotspot, so that ALV take action in sinlge user click.
In the user-command of ALV write the code to open the attachment.
you can use the FM SO_DOCUMENTS_MANAGER

Mail Adapter - attachment file?

Hi,
I use the Mail Adapter (XIPAYLOAD) in order to send an email from XI to a Mail Server (Lotus Notes); but content of my email is inside an attachment file.
If I choose "keep attachement", then I have an attachement file with "xxxx.xml".
e.g: [email protected]
If I don't choose "keep attachment", then I have an attachement file with "xxxx.dat".
e.g: att4a5o8.dat
Is there a solution to have the content directly in the email and not inside an attachement?
And is it possible to change the file name?

Use the Option 'Use Mail Package'. In this case the message will be sent out inside the mail.
The mail package is a special message type you have to provide to the mail adapter. You have to do a mapping from your message to the mail package message type.
Here is a sample XSLT for creating a mail package out of any XML Message:

PDF/Attachment File Size Limitation

Question: Does anyone know of a specific upper limit on email attachment file sizes, or how to overcome them? I love that iPhone email supports viewing PDFs, and got some smaller ones to be delivered and display just fine, but when I tried to email a 10MB PDF to my iPhone it really caused a mess (first attempt locked up my iPhone and required a reset, second attempt the iPhone email client had trouble retrieving the whole PDF from the POP server). I finally gave up.
Note to Apple (hope you're watching...): Please support large email attachments, especially PDF. FYI: the 10MB PDF I was trying to push to the iPhone was in fact the iPhone User's Guide that I downloaded from the Apple web site -- too bad this "bug" prevents an iPhone user from having the iPhone User Guide on the iPhone itself, huh? Also, please consider adding password support for locked email attachments (like password-protected PDFs).

Thanks, but what sort of infrastructure are you referring to? There are 8500 rows of data for this invoice at three levels which is not large, but some fields are 240 characters long.
I'm not getting an Out of Memory type of error. In fact, I'm not getting any errors, just that there is no output. pdf-compression is set to true. What else could I check?

How to attach files like .doc, .xls, .pdf and so on in Design Editor (WYSIWYG)

I want to attach files like .doc, .xls, .pdf. etc in my Design editor, instead of importing those files. Is there any way to do that. Please help.

Hi Vinay.
Would these files be editable and if so, where would they reside? If you want people to be able to edit the files, you need to consider where the files are located. If you link directly to a file in RoboHelp, a local copy is copied into your project as a baggage file. If a user then clicks on the link, the local copy is opened and any edits can not be saved back to the WebHelp's output location. However if you were to create an image (like the ones you used above) and added a hyperlink to the file's location - i.e. on a network drive outside the project, this would enable users to edit and save changes to the original file location. Want to attach files in while creating an order (VA01)

Hi All,
Can you please let me know what settings can be done to enable us to attach files while creating the sales orders (VA01).
I know that if i add the "SD_SWU_ACTIVE" to the user profile than i can do the same in VA02 & VA03 but i want these option in VA01 also.
Also i just wanted to know the "Printer" icon in the main screen of VA01will print the screen or will print the output? Also currently i see its greyed out,how can we activate that too........

What if in VA01, after attaching and entering the details, user just come out of screen and don't save? Not sure what is the purpose of this inconsistency?
printer icon? You mean Menu->System-List ->print?
This works only if you have a list displayed on your screen.

Msg 22051 Database Mail Attachment file is invalid

Hello,
I'm testing a trigger to output a text file and then attach it to an email in Database Mail. So far, I've gotten the correct text file to export to a TEMP folder, but when I try to attach it to database mail, I get the message below. I think it is a permissions
problem with the TEMP directory, but I've tried adding some permissions, but nothing seems to work. The profile name is TFRONT_DBMAIL and the account name is Albert using Basic Authentication for the SMTP server. I think you have to add the SQL Server User
Account or the Database Mail account to the permissions, but I can't seem to find the exact one to use. I have set up other triggers that use database mail that only send messages with no attachments and they work fine.
Any help appreciated!

I can no longer attach files in Yahoo mail since upgrading to FireFox 4.0.1. I click the "attach" button and nothing happens - no file list to select from appears; nothing.

Since upgrading to Firefox 4.0.1 the "attach files" function in my Yahoo Mail account no longer functions. When I click the "attach files" button nothing happens - nothing. No file selection box opens, no error message appears, no pinwheel of death, nothing.
The "attach files" button is no longer 'hot' in FF 4.0.1 either = the "little hand" icon does not appear when I scroll over it. Other action buttons are still 'hot' ("attachments", "emoticons", "format", "hide bcc"etc.) - just not the "attach files" button.
The Yahoo Mail "attach files" function still works when I use my Safari browser, however. So, it appears to be a FF4.0.1 issue.
(Intel MacBook, Snow Leopard, 2gb ram, 360gb hd)

Writting attached file from SOAP message to a FTP folder

Hi everybody,
Our scenario is an interface which receives a SOAP message with a file attached. As we don't need to do any mapping into the attachment, we are supposed to deliver that file as it is into a FTP folder.
Our problem is that we cannot find how to configure File comm channel to write the attached file and no the SOAP XML message which is what we are getting now. Any help on this?

Problem with attaching file to Sales Order

Hello,
In my company we have the possibility to attach files to sales orders, e.g. pdf files with the printing details.
These files are added by the GUI user, this works fine.
Now we have an extra order creation stream in which a pdf file has to be added to the SO without user interaction.
I found a helpful link ( /people/rammanohar.tiwari/blog/2005/10/10/generic-object-services-gos--in-background )
This program creates URL links with no problem, but the file generation is not implemented yet.
I tried to add the file functions to his sample report but still have one problem. The file is uploaded, but not reported as a PDF file in sap. If I select the created attachment SAP allows only the saving of the attachment. After saving the created file is a good PDF file, it opens with PDF-viewers.
Why does SAP not know this is a PDF file and report it as such (and open the pdf viewer when selected).

Unable to find line break between two lines in attachment file.

Dear all I will be very great full if someone help me out,
I am trying to send mail through SMTP server with an attachment of oracle report, but I am unable to find line break between two lines, when I down load the attachment from mail and open attach.txt file by double click on it. Next line starts right after previous line ends, it should starts with new line.
In order to send an attachment file, I am reading source file line by line and put MIME protocol’s attachment instance, contain of source file is being properly written into target file if I open that attachment on cmd prompt.

Hi All,
I wrote a dialog program to simplify the CRM_DNO_MONITOR. I gave the facility to attach file from the PC(any doc type .txt ,doc, xls. etc) by calling the functions. I need to give a facility to open these attached file in the same edit. Please let us know way
Additionally,I can find the logical and physical document of these attached files
