our dir sync is not working correctly the last sync was over 6 hours ago - all settings are fine i ran
the force utility Import-Module DirSync and Start-OnlineCoexistenceSync but no joy the azure directory C:\Program Files\Windows Azure Active Directory Sync only has one file in it which is coexistenceInstall.log i dont know where the sync
manager is or how to find it as it doesnt appear to be there, our portal azure setting show AD as syncing fine any ideas? this is a major issue as we have exchange online migrations to run and users to add etc we have tried everything our event viewer
also shows as sync failing any assistance?

0P_FYEAR issue - Urgent - Please help

We are developing six new BCS queries. We have already have about 30 reports.
1. We are using the Fiscal Year variable (0FISCYEAR) - 0P_FYEAR in most of the queries. In the new reports, particularly in one query, the previous year is not working with -1 offset value. but, the same variable is working in other new reports for previous year. Please help how to rectify the issue.
2. I have started trying many options in QA environment and found that there was a option to choose CONSTANT SELECTION in the 0FISCYEAR. So, I tried to select the Constant selection and found that the PREVIOUS YEAR IS WORKING for the query, for which earlier it was not working. Now, my another issue is that previous year is not working for all other queries which we have used the 0P_FYEAR as variable.
Since I have tried this in QA, all the reports in QA are not working for previuos year. Please advise urgently to correct the same.

When you use these variables you should restrict querieswith correct fiscal yaer Variant.

TableLayout issues ***Urgent, please help***

First off, singleDefaultColumn layout is not an option. I'm using tableLayout to format my UIX.
The problem lies with the fact that I'm using for cellformat to form a 1X4 grid. In order to align the messageTextInput properly, I'm having to supress it's prompt. The label for it is created as a messageStyledText in a different cell. Basically, the format of the page is as follows...

Pickup City: <pickup_city> Delivery City: <delivery_city>

Here's the problem. When configuring messageTextInput as required, it misaligns the input boxes with the other inputs and doesn't provide a proper warning message (since there is no prompt). The UIonly option allows me to visually assign a required icon but provides no validation when assigning to messageStyledText since it's not related to the messageInput text.
So basically what I have is ... (and doesn't look very pretty) ... notice the (*) fields are not aligned with Contact and Country fields.

I was able to resolve this issue by creating a 1x2 table layout. Setting the display lengths of messageTextInput equally. Adjusting both cellFormats to "right align". In doing so, I achieve desired results along with displaying correct labels for NOT NULL validation.

Filters Issue - urgent please!!

Hello Experts,
After checking the DBA guide, I did not find a limit for the number of filter rows that can be inside one filter nor the number of filters a group can have assigned to it (assuming more than one database).
For instance, I have several filters on one database based off a large dimension with approximately 75 "read @IDESC("member")" and I wanted to know what the actual limit on filter rows are since 75 might be approaching that number (we normally have one or two rows).
Also, in a related question, what is the maximum total number of filters (e.g., databases) that a group can have assigned to it? That is, if I have one filter like the above for N databases, and I assign them all to one group for filter access, what's the maximum number than N can represent?

I just went digging through the API and I don't see anything specific about limiting how many filters you can have. I would guess that the limit isn't strictly defined, however, the more you have the more processing has to be done on them. If there is some sort of limit I'd think maybe it's a power of 2 (like 128 or 256). If you want to check, maybe you can setup a quick filter-granting script that creates a hundred or two hundred filters and sees if the system takes it. Of course, hopefully there'd be a better way to dole out permissions than this -- like using a UDA or the DESCENDANTS of some member or something.

I got a new phone 4s that I connected to itunes in order to load it and sync with my old datas. but I don't konw how but when itunes sync my new iphone i did not take my old datas. at the end of the sync process, I got an iphone totally virgin, but none of my previous apps, neither contact neither calendar neither anything. what happened? did itunes erased all my previous datas?? i hope not but if it's the case, can I recuperate my old datas through icloud? please help because as a lot of us, all my life is in this iphone.. We are on 11.5.10. I am trying to create PO receipts using the interface program "Receiving Transaction Processor". I inserted data into the rcv_headers_interface and rcv_transactions_interface tables. As this dta is for contract labor, i am assuming that there is no need to insert data into shipment_related interface table. Following shows the insert statement I made sure that I am running the process from the correct org (the org that i used in the filed destination_oprganization field). But still the process completes normally but po_interface_errors has a record with error message as :
"RVTSH-189: Subroutine rvtshiline() returned error
Cause: Subroutine rvtshiline() returned an internal error.
Action: Note this error number and the actions you are trying to perform.
Contact your system administrator for"

Major Issues with iPod Touch - Please help!

Hi, I am having major issues with my iPod, and nothing seems to be going right. It all started a few days after I got it for Christmas. I would wake up, and my iPod would be completely discharged even though it had a full battery and was turned off. I woke up one night and found that it came on all by myself. I sent it into iPod, and they sent it back saying nothing was wrong. Since I got it back today and within six hours, I have had four software crashes to the point where I have had to uninstall iTunes and restore factory settings four times. I am now on my fifth crash, but this time, the screen won't even come on. It keeps saying that it is in recovery mode. I simply went to turn it on! Does anyone have any suggestions? Personally, I think there is a short, and that I need a new a replacement. However, it doesn't seem like Apple is very supportive of the idea. I go through all of their steps over and over and over, and the same thing happens! What is going on? Please help.

sounds like, for the charging problem anyways, that you are just putting ipod into "Stand by" mode... press and hold the power key for about 10 seconds and an option to power off will actually come on.. if u just press it and let go, it just goes to stand by.. i have noticed stand by drains my battery
also, it doesn't sound like a short to me... the charging i am pretty sure is bc you are only putting it into standby however, the rest sounds like software.. did u try and restore using itunes or did you just reset the factory defaults?? Plug it into itunes and click restore under the ipod menu...

Is your form running inside the browser window (with SeparateFrame=False)? If the browser is maximized, and your form is maximized, yet you cannot see the entire screen, you can run with SeparateFrame=True. You can do that on the browser line.

I have done that several times. In fact, every time I call Verizon with my phone problems, they have me do the same things repeatedly. I keep telling them I have already done them but they insist they are SURE it will work this time. It never does. Anyone else having major issues with 1.1.4?

So I updated to Firmware 1.1.4 a day or two after it came out and I've been having major issues. This is on a phone purchased on launch day that has not been jailbrokened or hacked in anyway.
Battery life...when the phone actually works, is down drastically. I went from 2.5 days with Bluetooth and Wi-fi on to about 12 hours at one time.
Wi-fi...when it works, just cuts in and out even when the signal should be all full strength.
Clock...even though it is set to sync with network time, can be accurate one minute and lags behind as much as 15 minutes.
I've done numerous restores, both from a backup file and setting the phone up as a new phone. Nothing seems to fix the problem so far. Has anyone else run into these issues and/or know of how to fix it.
I was contemplating downgrading the firmware to 1.1.3, but I don't believe there is an official way to do it.
Any input would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same issues, After the Update the sound quality of my calls dropped drastically! I tought first I got a cold or something like that...but it was not I cannot hear as clearly as I used to before and increasing the volume does not solve anything!
I also noticed that trsitionning from an application to another and especially using the home button to got to home page is getting slower. I need more time to lose safari and go to emails than before.
My Memory usage is exactly the same as I havent added anything to my library or so. Aroud 3.5 GB free.

- Windows 7 x64 machine with 12GB RAM and high-performance CPU (core i7-920)
- Virtual Machine guest running WinXP SP3 (in Oracle VirtualBox) on the same machine
- Intel Atom D525 netbook with 4GB RAM, running Win7 x64
Neither of these machines are connected via Sync or anything like that. The Firefox instance on the VM is a fresh/clean install.
The problem:
- 100% cpu usage for 10 seconds, memory usage (PF usage in XP) goes up to 1.7GB
- if "about:home" is the Firefox Start Page, effectively it hangs the computer at Firefox startup for 10 seconds
- if "about:home" is NOT the Firefox Start Page, startup is fine - BUT if I press the "home" button on the toolbar it loads "about:home" which causes the same issue again

Thank you cor-el! Your suggestion has solved the problem on my WinXP VM which I was using to test, and I will soon confirm that it has also solved the problem on my primary Win7 desktop.

I have one situation to sync on-premises AD user and their password with Windows Azure AD. Following is the detailed scenario:
I have one parent Domain : parent.edu and other is child domain : child.parent.edu
I am moving Child domain users into office365. I am using Dir Sync with Password sync approach to achieve this. My dir Sync server belongs to parent domain. I have followed all guidelines step-by-step to sync user and Password with office365.
I am successfully able to sync Users to office365 but unable to sync on -premises passwords. When i am trying to run profiles event viewer is showing following error:
