Direct FXS/E&M integration with external paging amp TOA a-2060 possible?

Hi!
I've never done such integration before so I'd be grateful for any helpful information. So we have a Cisco 2911 ISR G2 router with possible FXS, FXO, E&M cards and an amplifier TOA a-2060 (datasheet attached). The amp has the following input interfaces:
MIC 1, 2: -60dB* (10mV), 600Ω, electronically balanced, screw terminal
TEL: -10dB* (300mV), 10kΩ, transformer isolated balanced, screw terminal
AUX 1, 2: -20dB* (100mV), 10kΩ, unbalanced, RCA pin jack
Is it possible to make this pair work together? And if it is not possible what else do I need to buy in order to make paging work?
Thanks a lot for any help

Thanks for the reply
The "sh ver" definitely shows up the two E&M ports, it's just in CallManager 4.1(3) that I cannot add the VIC2-2E/M module as a subunit to the 2801 gateway.
I'd really like to make this work but will concentrate my efforts on the free FXO port I currently have as it's being recognized (and therefore registered) by CallMananger.

  • Workflow integration with external DMS system

    Hi,
What integration/control transfer possibilities exist between SAP Workflow and an external document management system (e.g. Hummingbird)? Would some sort of interface be necessary for the integration and what would the level of effort be more or less?
This is quite urgent and I would greatly appreciate your input.
    Regards
    Liza-Marie

    Hi Liza-Marie,
you can work at different levels:
    1) Integration of documents use in the SAP workflow can be stored in external DMS and linked to SAP transactions through SAP Archivelink; you'll probably need a Hummingbird interface certified archivelink
    2) If you want to integrate your SAP workflow with the workflow of the DMS (if any), you can practice as follows:
    a) From you DMS, you can raise events in the SAP system on which your SAP workflow would react (to start or resume) by making use of standard RFCs such as SWE_EVENT_CREATE; eventually you can expose it as web service, which will simplify the call
    b) From SAP worfklow, you can send mails, call external system commands (more rarely used) or call web services that would allow you external DMS to be triggered on
Details on all these techniques would be too huge to be described in a post, but this gives you an overview on how SAP Workflow can interact with external solutions.
    In summary to your question:
    1) Interface required YES - ARCHIVELINK CERTIFIED in case you want to store documents in external DSM that need to be connected to your SAP transactions
    2) Level of effort is depending on your scenario

  • CUP Future Integration with External Training System

Are there any plans to allow CUP to integrate with external training systems. We have a need for CUP to integrate with an external training system to obtain course completion information which would then be used in the approval process for requests associated with adding or updating roles. Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any specific enhancements for that requirement but I would raise this directly with SAP to check!
I'm sure you could use a work around by using qualification records to trigger the CUP webservices of a certain request type and  generate a workflow path for that specific approval mechanism.
    Cheers, Simon

  • SPM : Integration with External Data Sources

    Dear Experts,
Can you let me know with your comments or by sharing any link or documentation, as to how to Integrate SPM with External Data Sources.
And how many or what all external Data Sources, can SPM Connect with ?
    Regards
    Pankaj

    Hi Pankaj,
There are no limitations of external data you can bring into BW and visualise in the SPM UI - you can expose custom bex queries as "datasources" in the user interface, and these can show anything you like. Its just a question about what makes sense to show in SPM.
Are you looking to bring in anything specific?
    Thanks

  • Result recording - Integration with external software

    Hi,
Inspection is done using the external software & the results are stored in the external database.
How can we transfer the inspection results in QM Result recording?

    Hi,
For the upload to the SAP-System, the function module BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS will be used with the following mandatory input parameters:
    -     Inspection lot number
    -     Inspection operation number
    -     Inspection point number
    -     Partial lot number
    -     (SAP-)batch number
    -     Characteristic results (for characteristics with summarized result recording)
    -     Single results (for characteristics with original result recording).
The transfer between subsystem and QM is done asynchronously. The mapped result data will be send as IDoc to the SAP system, or via direct call of the BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS via RFC.
If the data is send as IDoc, the BAPI-ALE interface must be setup to process the BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS at receipt of a new IDOC.
Kindly contact with your ABAP'er for further process.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Integration with externally facing website

    Hi,
We've been evaluating BIEE for both internal and external use. We would like to be able to embed charts and tables on webpages for our external users but would like to avoid the extra baggage that comes with setting up a portlet container.
I have been surprised that it is not possible to directly obtain chart data via either the web services or 'go' url. Both will only produce HTML which is of no use to us as the BI server will not be publicly facing itself. Our intention was to manage chart access via our webapp which would essentially act as a reverse proxy.
If anyone has experience in exposing BIEE charts externally, I'd like to hear how it was achieved. At the moment I am not sure whether to fight it or just use a completely separate charting engine on our front-end and leave the BI generated content for internal consumption and email reports only.
    Regards,
    Tom

It's a little tough to guess at what you need with the info provided so far.
How timely does the data transfer need to be? I would consider MQ (or alternative messaging sub sytem) if it needs to be a real time transfer. If this can be batch orientated you can build extracts without purchasing (in my opinion). Also, Oracle has built in XML capabilities so I would start there before purchasing 3rd party software.

  • Integrating with external access control system

    Hi,
I am new at the network but have read a lot recently about the above subject as much as I could. However, I am a bit mixed up at something. I understand in order to update SAP HR module with employees time and attendance logs I need to interface with a certified PDC interface => (SAP ECC - PLANT DATA COLLECTION - TIME & ATTENDANCE AND EMPLOYEE EXPENDITURES (HR-PDC)
I wish to develop a system that updates the the SAP HR with employee attendance logs. In addition I also wish enroll new employees into my access control system database by polling the SAP HR database.
Now my question is if I use .NET connector:
    1. Does the connector it include functions that can help with the above requirements?
    2. Is the use of PDC interface here still a must?
    Thanks

For time management with the help of transaction pt80 you can download the information about employees with the help of idoc. And there are some programs a.k.a connectors that link access control systems and SAP so that you do not hire the same employee in the access control problem. You hire the employee in SAP and SAP sends the information (HR Minimaster DATA) to the related program.
It is also do the same thing for the employees who resign. I mean if an employee is fired or resigned from the company than it is sent to the related system.
These can be found under PDC integrated systems. You can find information about the systems from Ecohub. http://ecohub.sap.com/
I hope this answer will help.

  • Integrating with External Job boards

    Hello,
I am fairly new to this forum and the posts in here are very informative.
We have been successfully using E-Recruiting 3.0 for over a year and will be soon upgrading to 6.0. Do any of you have any experience in using an aggregator to post to the job boards?
    Any information is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Hi Roman,
With respect to Job Board integration/ Agency integration, i want to know the following:
    1. Do we need to write a program to convert the Publication data into XML or is it done by some existing class/program in e-Recruiting ??
    2. When we provide the XML document to the Job Board, how is it linked to our e-Recruiting portal ??
Actually the picture is very much unclear in this aspect...
    3. Suppose the Agency wants to perform a particular activity say, passport verification, how can that be integrated on the Agency page ?? Will that be a custom development or it can be done using standard ??
For the above questions, if you have any help docs, please forward it to me at my following gmail id shashumacher16. Could not write the mail address together cos of SDN check
    Thanks.

  • BPM 11g integration with External UI or ADF UI

    Hi ,
Can any one throw some idea how to integrate BPM Human Task(User task component) with already existing ADF UI.
I've a Approval Human Task . And my ADF team has developed the UI project. I need to integrate both BPM and ADF UI.
Can any one give an idea on this...

    Hi Experts,
    I have solved this issue..
For example if we want to integrate the ADF UI and BPM. Just run the Login.jspx and used that url and add the URI in EM console in Component metrics of Human task.

  • Attendance recording integration with external system

    Hi,
there is a scenario where an employee punches in and out to enter and leave his office. This information like employee number, date, mode(in/out) etc is collected in a flat file. How this information can be captured in R/3? Do we need IDOC or XI or both or BAPI? kindly respond.
    Regards,
    Murali.

    Hi,
You have to maintain Infotype 0050 and to upload the information you  can use BDC  or any other interface ( time in time outs will be writtten to the table CCITYEV and after processing  will be stored in TEVEN table.)
You  need an ABAP program that can transfer data from third party systen to R/3. This is the simplest way. Without XI we can integrate the system.
This can be done in so many ways .
    Warm Regards,

  • Way of External Database Integration with UCCX

    Hi
I want to know what are the way of UCCX integration with External Database(Mobile Operator, Banking, Insurance).I only know about DBwrite and DBGet. is there any way out(http, https,SOAP)? They dont want to give me direct access to there Databases.
    Sultan Al Arif

One way to do this would be to use the Get URL Document step to request an XML file from a web server.
Upon receiving this request the web server would then retrieve the required data via SQL (fairly easy to do using ASP.NET and  IIS), format it in an XML page and return it to your script.
The script would then use Get XML Document Data steps to parse the XML file for the required data.
The organisations that operate the databases with which you want to integrate may have some concerns about the security of this though as the data will not be encrypted in transit.

  • Forte Integration With Exchange or Netscape CalendarServer

    Hi folks.
I am trying to write an application that will either talk to Ms Exchange
    or the Netscape Calender Server.
The application should automatically make an appointment on the user's
calendar based on the time and date specificied. Over here I am not sure
what components that Microsoft or Netscape has provided for us to
integrate with their calendar systems? Has anyone actually implemented
this? What are the alternatives that I have?
Will Ms MAPI or Netscape's Messaging Access SDK works?
    Thanks
    from: Suen

What you need to do is integrate Forte with MAPI.
You can either create a Forte 'C' project that has a direct mapping to
each of the functions supported by MAPI OR write a wrapper library for
that accepts the basic parameters to initialize mapi and send/receive
mail and talks to MAPI by itself.
We have taken the second approach and have our application totally
    integrated with MAPI.
You can read more about integrating with C in the 'Integrating with
    External Systems' manaual.

  • Integration with MS VC++ DLL

    Dear Forte - colleagues
I've got the following questions to clarify. They are mainly
    regarding integration with External Systems.
    1. To invoke my C function from Forte, I've created a project that
wraps C function, configured this as a library and made distribution
without autocompiling. (We are not able to use AutoCompile option). So
I have to build a DLL manually. I created a MS VC++ project
    containing the following files:
    1. fcinter.cc - is generated by Forte
    2. fcinter.cpp - my C functions
    3. Forte libraries fortent\install\lib\*.lib
Although FCInter.DLL has been compiled and linked successfully, but I
    get the following diagnostic:
System Error: The specified procedure could not be found.,
loading the symbol 'fcint_GetScope' from the library
    'c:\fortent\userapp\fcinter\cl0\fcinter.dll
However this function is seen by Dumpbin /EXPORTS.
I suspect that something is wrong in MS VC project settings. My
questions are: Which settings of MS VC++ project should I use to make
this function visible for Forte? Or what should be the command line
to run CL command line compiler?
    2. And lastly, may be it seems funny but we cannot find the 'Release
Notes' doc in Forte manuals nor in the installation CDs. Can somebody
send it to us as email attachment? Mainly I need information about
interaction with C++ compiler on WinNT platform. We are happy
    possessors of Forte 3.0.D.0.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I had to download the 64 bit  librfc32.dll from SAP software download center as outlined in note 413708.
Please note that the librfc32.dll  installed as part of SAP GUI is  32 bit. Hence, I was getting the BadImageFormat exception.
