Direct links to the KM doesn't work under Kerberos (SPNego)

Hello,
We are running NW04 SP16 and successfully implemented Kerberos
authentication using the SPNego module.
The problem we are facing is this: If we put a URL to a certain KM file
at the browser, like this:
http://<host>:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents/....
The user is being prompted for User name and password and even after
entering the correct ones it doesn't work. If the same user is opening
this link from inside the portal (from an iView for example) the link
is working. When we used NTLM this option used to work.
I have implemented SAP Note 993579 yet it didn't solve the problem.
I also tried changing the Authentication Schema property of the com.sap.km.document template iView to "default" yet this as well didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Yes I am referring to the same oject.
The thing is that Brad says that the changing of the authentication schema needs to be done together with the note. I first tried the note and in order to track changes I reverted the note and tried the authentication schema change separately. I didn't try to implement both of them together. I will try it and let you know...

Since upgrade, I can't now tell the size of attachments added to email and the attachment link from the icon doesn't work properly. How can these be addressed?

Since the upgrade to mozilla and to windows was installed on my computer, when I use my hotmail account with mozilla, I now cannot tell the size of attachments. Previously you could see the size of attachments but now when the cursor passes over the attachment, this works on Internet explorer but not Mozilla. Also, the icon for attachments often doesn't work, nor the "send as an online document" nor the "No thanks" icon.

The "Use custom settings for history" selection allows to see the current history and cookie settings, but selecting this doesn't make any changes to history and cookie settings.
Firefox shows "Use custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one of the history and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that changes were made.
If all History settings are default then the custom settings are hidden and you see "Firefox will: (Never) Remember History".
"Never Remember History" means that Private Browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" gets a checkmark.
You need to remove the checkmark on "Always use private browsing mode" to leave Private Browsing mode or chose the "Remember History" setting.

AIA error email : The composite instance link in the email doesn't work

The error messages raised through email contain the link to the composite instance which upon clicking is
supposed (after login) to show the composite instance in the EM. This link is not working for clustered environment whereas it works fine for non-clustered environment
(after submitting login credential the page is again redirected to login page)
Please let me know, if anyone knows the solution .

- soa_domain is the name of my domain, you can replace this with your domain name
- SOA_Cluster is the name of our SOA cluster

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Linked column with # sign doesn't work in report results

I have a 2 page query situation, whereas in the 1st page I have a wildcard query to find a product number.
This product number is set-up as link to run a report which opens in another page.
(Type is a STRING.)
Everything works fine unless the product number starts with the # sign.
I can run a report using this in a non-linked page, but it doesn't work in the linked page...?

You need to escape the "#" character in the product no and generate the link's HTML code in report #1 directly within the SQL query.

If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Ha! Perfectly classic case of XY problem! Pointed out by Jongware in some other thread recently - couldn't find an exact link right now...
In short:
    User wants to do X.
    User doesn't know how to do X, but thinks he can fumble his way to a solution if he can just manage to do Y.
    User doesn't know how to do Y either.
    User asks for help with Y.
    Others try to help user with Y, but are confused because Y seems like a strange problem to want to solve.
    After much interaction and wasted time, it finally becomes clear that the user really wants help with X, and that Y wasn't even a suitable solution for X.

From the right I have UDF for choosing the spare parts of auto. I want to add a spare part, for example to item master data (OITM). I enter every field step by step 1 - 4 by choosing frome use tables linked in every field. I choose fielf 1 (Brand) for example TOYOTA and in the use table of 2(Model) field i see only values that belong to TOYOTA that to say corolla, carina, vista and so on. But to find any component exactly i put on the loupe in the field 5 and see a table where all types of auto parts in the world but they are filtered with parametrs in 1-4 fields. I chhose needed component and get in the 5 field any code of a choosed part. Then i d liked to link the table of filed 5 to field Description too and to filter component with code in field 5 in order to get item description from the use table. I used the one method of filtering in all fields Here i see that i can to filter values using use fields but I don't use it in standart field description, although the usual selection of elements of any use table works. As a result a see that the problem that doesn't work the selection and filtration in the field description but it works in in UDF.

We worked out my problem. My solution turned out to be: Firefox Preferences/Applications. Scroll down until you find "Portable Document Format (application)", click on it and use the dropdown menu to the right and changed "Save file" to "Use Adobe Acrobat Pro (default). I had trouble at first finding if the listing was under Adobe, Acrobat, or what so I used the search feature and found it immediately.

Link To Web Gallery doesn't work

I created a password protected web gallery in Aperture, but when it has completed uploading, the URL to the gallery doesn't work, it never loads in Safari. When I go to My Gallery home page I see the icon for the gallery with the lock as it should be but when I click on it, I get the message " that access for this gallery is restricted and to contact the owner of the gallery" instead of asking me for the password.
If a gallery is not password protected it shows up just fine. Am I missing something? Why doesn't the url for a password protected gallery work.

Just as a note, it works fine in Firefox. It seems to be an issue with Safari and .Mac.

I've been having the same issue, but have just discovered something on my own that hasn't been pointed out in any of the forums I've visited. In what I thought would be a vain attempt to help myself, I went to System Preferences, Users & Groups, and then clicked on Login Items. I discovered that one of the Items that was listed to open automatically upon login was iTunes Helper and that there was an exclamation point beside it indicating that it was incompatible. I simply deleted that item and now I don't have the situation you described and my wireless is connected. Hope this helps!
