  • Autofs direct mapping not working

    Hi there,
I'm currently migrating from Gentoo and hit a problem. I'm trying to use an autofs feature called 'Direct mapping'. It allows one to use map one directory to a specific server. Combined with ghosting, one can use this to do a on demand bind setup. This is useful if the target is not always available (like an encrypted disk that is not active).
    Relevant auto.master snippet:
    /etc/autofs/auto.bind_1 \
    -fstype=auto,--timeout=5 \
    defaults,nodev,noexec,nomand,nosuid,noiversion,\
    noatime,bind
and the full contents of auto.bind_1:
    /home/gedeeld/secure :/home/secure/gedeeld
    /opt/32bit_chroot/home/secure/ronald :/home/secure/ronald
    Automounter just won't list it:
    [root@Alpha autofs]# automount -f -v
Starting automounter version 5.0.7, master map auto.master
    using kernel protocol version 5.02
syntax error in nsswitch config near [ syntax error ]
mounted indirect on /var/autofs/cifs with timeout 5, freq 2 seconds
    ghosting enabled
mounted indirect on /var/autofs/dev with timeout 10, freq 3 seconds
    ghosting enabled
This exact same configuration file used to work with autofs on Gentoo. I'm at deads end why it's not working under Arch. Autofs documentation is sparse, especially with respect to 'Direct mapping'.

  • Query Regarding Multi-Message Mapping in Interface Mapping.

    Hi All,
I've a query that can we use Multi-Message Mapping in Interface Mapping if:
One mapping structure is simple one-2-one mapping and
Second mapping is calling a stored procedure.
Please give me some links if the answer is YES.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
Your question not clear buddy..what i understood is..
If you want execute multiple message mappings in Interface mapping we can ,just add two mapping programs in interface mapping.first mapping program output is input to the second mapping program.
If first mapping program is very simple,if you want to execute stored procedure in second level mapping write used defned fun ction to conect to data base or create JDMC receiver communication channel ,cal the communictaion channel in udf.write stored procedure in UDF.
SEARCH for more info in sdn how to perform DBLOOKUPS.

  • Message Mapping And Interface Mapping

    Hi,
    I have 2 software components.
One is for sender and one is for receiver.I have created all the Data types,Message type and Message Interface fro sender in the first Software component and data types ,message type ,message interface for the receiver in the second software component .
Now, in which Software component should i create Message Mapping and Interface Mapping?
    Thanks in Advance,
    mvk

    Hi,
You could use the created Message type and Message interfaces in Sender as well as receiver software components for creating message mapping, interface mapping and integration scenario.
Generally it makes sense to maintain the message mapping, interface mapping and integration scenario in receiver software component. The message mapping and Integration scenario is specifically based on the receiver end requirments, so its preffered on receiver software component.
The sender side details could be reusable in case if you need those for another new receiver software component. If you maintain it in sender component, then that will lead to mix-up all the things on sender side even though its based on receiver end.
I think this could help you.
In PI7.1 now there is concept of Folders to maintain all the interfaces appropriatly and leads for reusability of existing objects.

  • EclipseLink Direct Map with Joining mapping issue

    Hi EclipseLink Team,
We encountered an issue to map an attribute as Direct Map with Join Fetch enabled in EclipseLink Workbench 1.1.1 (Build v20090430-r4097).
Basically, we have the following data model:
    SESSION
    SESS_NO (PK),
    PARAM_SESS
    SESS_NO (FK) (PK),
    PARAM_NAME (PK),
    PARAM_VALUE
Then we have Session.java persistent entity associated with SESSION table. This class contains Map attribute sessionParameters which we map as Direct Map with PARAM_SESS.PARAM_NAME as key and PARAM_SESS.PARAM_VALUE as value (referenced by PARAM_SESS.SESS_NO = SESSION.SESS_NO).
The described mapping works fine without Joining enabled (both for Lazy and Eager Loading).
But we have cases when we want to get parameters for a number of sessions. And disabling of Joining leads to a number of performed SELECT SQL queries (both for Lazy and Eager Loading) those are bad for performance.
So we have chosen the Eager Loading and set the Join Fetch option to Outer. Then we have got the following:
I see in the log the only SQL query performed: SELECT DISTINCT t0.SESS_NO, …, t1.PARAM_VALUE, t1.PARAM_NAME FROM {oj SESSION t0 LEFT OUTER JOIN PARAM_SESS t1 ON (t1.SESS_NO = t0.SESS_NO)}. This is pretty good for us. This query returns exactly what we expect when executing on the database. But the Map attribute for every session is populated incorrectly: Maps are empty (not corresponding to available relational data).
Could you please let us know if this is a bug, or kind of known issue or we made something wrong? Some hints and proposals would be very helpful and appreciated.
I should mention that for now we want to map all of this for read only purpose.
    Thanks.
    Best Regards,
    Alexey Elisawetski

    James,
I've tried both 1.2 release and 2.0 (v20091121-r5847) but received the same result - empty Map.
Moreover, for both versions the following string was absent in deployed XML file:
    +<direct-key-field table="PARAM_SESS" name="PARAM_NAME" xsi:type="column"/>+
Therefore, on application initialization I have got an exception: org.eclipse.persistence.exceptions.DescriptorException with message This descriptor contains a mapping with a DirectMapMapping and no key field set.
So I was forced to add the line manually.
    This seems buggy to me...
    Regards,
    Alexey

  • Need Assistance to know how to Map an Interface in web Service(WSDD)

    Hi,
I am writing a Web Service which has a Bean Class, this Bean Class implements a lot of interface and other Bean Classes extends Abstract Class.
I want to know is it possible in Axis to map these Interfaces and Abstract Class in the WSDD file. I am Mapping the Bean Class but doesnt have any idea about interfaces and abstract classes.

Hello, I'm also stuck on this problem...
I found that a property's defaultValue was correctly setted when unmarshalling a server response which provided an empty String but impossible to make the client set the property to its defaultValue when marshalling a request....
Did you found a way to correct this bug ?

Me too. I got different errors however because I did something different:
1.) Download and install the public beta.
2.) Start WLS (I started mydomain server)
3.) Start Workshop from the Start Menu.4) Created a new method for my webservice
    5) Selected Debug->"Start and Debug"
    6) Got ClassNotFound exceptions on my mydomain server console window andWorkshop
showed a progress bar for multiple minutes instead of failing outright.
There seems to be a basic assumption for some users that Workshopinteracts with
the out of the box WLS instance. Its not clear for people that don't readthe
documentation (that's me!) that the WLS instance needs to be Cajun aware.
Perhaps a message dialog should appear upon first install explaininglittle gotchas
like this. It should be one of those windows that you can uncheck "Showthis window
    at startup".
    Just a suggestion.

Thanks, Robert. It looks like this error happens when running a
    non-Workshop-enabled instance of WebLogic Server.
Note the differences in the classpath settings in the Workshop-enabled
    startWebLogic.cmd script
    (C:\bea\weblogic700b\samples\workshop\startWebLogic.cmd) as opposedto the
    non-Workshop-enabled scripts at
    C:\bea\user_domains\mydomain\startWebLogic.cmd or
    C:\bea\weblogic700b\samples\server\config\examples\startWebLogic.cmd.
I'll file an issue about improving the error message if the instanceof
WebLogic Server which is running doesn't have the necessary Workshopjars
    in
    its classpath.

    Hi Ranjith,
It does seem to be  the DDTS you are hitting. Please discuss with your account team and upgrade for the fix.
You may also be interested in related DDTS: Both of the below DDTS are related.  Reload of the device fixes the issue but only for a while. You may have to reload when you see this message again and available memory is below 15%.

  • Direct mapping of Siebel OM context to Oracle session attributes

    Hello all,
I wonder if it is possible to direct map of Siebel OM context to Oracle session attributes. Have anyone experience on this? If yes in which version of Siebel? And if this is applicable then what about in case of using connection pooling? Is there any documentation?
For example it would be very useful if we could have information about Siebel tasks in the fields of V$SESSION.
    Module = “BUSCOMP NAME”
    Action = “VIEWNAME”
Client Info = “TASKID”, “SERVERNAME”, “USERID”, “COMPONENT NAME”
    Thank you,
    Peter

    Hi,
Our Siebel profiling Tools do exactly what you want. They work on versions 7.7, 7.8, 8.0 and 8.1.
Also, in Siebel 8.1 and above there is now a bind variable :1 that provides this context information.

  • Direct mapping in updates rules not functioning as expected

    Hi experts,
I have a character string with only digits (NUMC) which is mapped in udpate rules of a ODS. Its a direct mapping from another ODS. Inspite of that, we are having scenarios where the source ODS is filled and the character in the destination ODS is coming as empty. The source ODS is looking up that value from another ODS.
I am wondering why is it so. I am in 3.5 enviornment.

Is it just this field coming up as blank or other fields too,
Do you any start routine or any kind of filtering in place in the update rules.
Just try to simulate a update and see if you can find anything.
    /people/pavan.bayyapu/blog/2006/09/06/debugging-data-upload-in-bw
Also make sure you "No Update" is not selected in update rules for this field.

Please show me where is problem in my configs, I try to change my config several time but problem still exist

As far as I know the technically correct answer to your question is Yes you can configure a crypto map on the inside interface. But it leads to a question of why would you want to do that? The function of the crypto map is to provide IPSec protection services to traffic passing through that interface. Why would you want IPSec on traffic going through your inside interface?
I am also puzzled by the partial config that you posted. Why do you have the internal "private" network and the Internet reachable network as primary and secondary on the same interface?

  • Message Mapping Vs Interface Mapping

What are the differences between Message Mapping and Interface Mapping?

    Hi,
    Message mapping
    1) Transformation from one message structure to another message structure
    2) Message Mapping is nothing but a set of rules for producing target XML from the source XML according to business requirement. These rules are nothing but relations between the source XML tags and target XML tags
    3) 4 types(graphical, java, xslt, abap) mapping
    4) You can check whether a complete message mapping functions at runtime once you have described it, by using the Test tab page.
    Interface mapping
    1) Interface mapping registers a pair of interfaces for a scenario and specifies the message mapping to be used
    2) you can execute multiple mapping programs consecutively
    3) To check whether an interface mapping that you have defined functions at runtime, test the interface mapping on the Test tab page.
    Limitations
    1) value mapping table cannot be accessed here
    2) runtime constants of the mapping runtime are not set,but set to dummy values.
    differences
message mapping you declare how the source message will be mapped to the the target message.
What source field will be mapped to the target field and any conditions for it to happen.
interface mapping you define what interfaces that will be communicating with each other. You will also see what message mapping the interfaces are using to exchange data. You need to do the message mapping before you do the interface mapping to get it correct.
    Other releated things
->I think there can be Interface mappings without any Message mappings. This will work properly if both the source and target interfaces are of same type.
There might be less sense in these scenarios but they cannot be ruled out. They can help at times.
Interface mappings register your mapping program for an interface pair in the Integration Repository. If you require a mapping at runtime, it is sufficient to select the interface mapping for the interface pair at configuration time.
->The Integration Server uses the interface mapping to identify associated mapping programs for request messages, response messages, fault messages, or all three.
You can also create multiple interface mappings for the same interface pair.

  • Applying "route-map" in interfaces with encapsulation dot1q

    Hello,
I would like to ask you if there were some trouble  in applying route-maps in a interface and its subinterfaces, as it is shown:
    interface GigabitEthernet0/2
     ip address 11.0.9.26 255.255.255.252
     ip policy route-map GestionRadios
    interface GigabitEthernet0/2.11
     encapsulation dot1Q 11
     ip address 11.0.9.18 255.255.255.252
     ip policy route-map RedOperativaA
    interface GigabitEthernet0/2.12
     encapsulation dot1Q 12
     ip address 11.0.9.22 255.255.255.252
     ip policy route-map RedOperativaB
I am not sure if it is correct totally. Besides I get this informacion doing "show ip  policy" and it seems to be right.
    Router#show ip policy
    Interface      Route map
    Gi0/2          GestionRadios
    Gi0/2.11       RedOperativaA
    Gi0/2.12       RedOperativaB
I would be very grateful for your help.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Sandro

We do not have much to work with in your post so giving you really good answers is difficult. You do not tell us what type of device this is (I assume probably a router, but perhaps it is a layer 3 switch?) or what version of code it is running. These things make a difference sometimes in what is supported or is not supported. But since you get output in show ip policy then I assume that the device does support configuration of this feature.
You show us the configuration of the interfaces but not the configuration of the route maps or the access lists which the route maps probably use. So we can not form an opinion of the validity of the route maps or the access lists.
And you do not tell us whether the Policy Based Routing is working or not (and in fact you do not tell us for sure that you are doing PBR - though that is generally what route maps on the interfaces are doing) so we are not clear whether there is a problem here or not.
But based on what you show us in this post I do not see any particular problems with the route maps and the way that you have applied them to interfaces (assuming that your goal is really to do PBR).
