I am using wcc11.1.1.7, I have an issue on Direct PDFExport as the following:
1.I configured outgoing provider from UCM server, enabled inboundrefinerysupport from UCM server, enabled PDFexportconverter from IRB server.
2. After restart UCM and IBR, the "IBR Provider Status" under ucm console->administration->refinery admin shows good status, the status is loaded for ibr->admin console->admin->system audit info->InboundRefinery
Issue is why "Direct PDFExport" is not listed in as accept conversion in IBR(ibr admin console->conversion settings->conversion list)? when I checkin a word which is supposed to be converted to pdf format, There is a message in conversion job status showed "No valid provider found for conversion." always.

I have a question regarding transport servers behaviour for smtp addresses that are not listed in accepted domains.
I have a mailbox with a secondary smtp address :
[email protected] , and aaaa.com is not listed as accepted.
Assuming that mx record for aaaa.com is configured correctly with my server IP. I tried sending an email to that address and it is delivred. This made me confused about my little knowledge. I thought exchange would reject such connection.
Can any one help me to understand this behaviour? (antispam agents are disabled and forefront protection for exchange is installed on hub server.)

I mean your organization public domain name （external domain name).
Based on my known, I understand that if we use e-mail address policy to assign e-mail address to users, such as aaaa.com, the aaaa.com must be included in accepted domain.
If we customize an e-mail address for a user mailbox ([email protected]), we can add aaaa.com as accepted domain, or needn't add it.
Only if there is a DNS MX record on public DNS server, we can send message to the user with
[email protected]

Direct PDFExport can not convert file with Chinese content

I am using direct pdfexpert with wcc11.1.1.7 on win7 64bit(Chinese version), after converting a word to pdf, I found the content in pdf is totally unreadable, I guess the charset of word is GBK, is there special configuration for this?

Hi ,
I think this is due the font set which you are using for IBR Conversion. Make sure to include the fonts (the one used in actual document) in the font path on IBR , resubmit / check-in anew , it will work fine .

I did this: RefineryJobExpirationTime=86400 for both of the following files:
$domain\ucm\cs\bin\intradoc.cfg
$domain\ucm\ibr\bin\intradoc.cfg
UCM and IBR server have been restarted, but I have the same issue.

The editor program is NOT under the organizer path as you mentioned in your last message. The actual editor program is at the location I gave in message #1 i.e. as follows
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
The one under the organizer is actually the Welcome screen which you have probably set up to go directly to the editor.
If you go to the Open With screen I showed in message #3 and browse to the actual editor as given above, it should show up in your list.
If it doesn't, then Windows is playing up again - and we have to take extra steps.

hmm... you might try a restart. Hold the home and power buttons down at the same time until the screen goes blank. No information is lost.

If you go into Edit > Preferences then on the General tab on the popup that you get you should be able to select which types of content 'show' - tick the box against 'Books' :
Books then show under your 'Library' - if you select it, are those audiobooks listed there ?

C7 Mail for exchange not able to accept invitation...

I am not able to accept invitations via mail for exchange.
I see the icons in the incoming emails that it is a invitation but I am not able to accept it.
I can answer the email but not like on my 61i or N97 that I a accept/deny may emails.
In the product description the functionality is available but he button does not show up.

Thank you for looking at this forum. I will answer you question below, please let me give you the full picture first.
I am a business user and need the MfE urgently and so far I refused to buy a Apple or Google phone (data leaks). Based on Nokia's long experience, I don't understand is why the status of the MfE is so poor. Let me give you some examples:
1) Security Password
After activating MfE I was forced to set security password, including a letter. I thought it is a company rule, but IT department told me they are not requesting this. My colleague is using iPhone, he is not forced to use a letter.
2) Meeting Invitations can't be responded
I have seen you response and I am looking forward to see the next release very soon(?).
3) Hook-off
When the phone is locked by security password (default) and I receive a call I can't access telephony application, e.b. to mute the microphone or to turn on the speakers. I need to enter security password first which is painful.
Here is my wish list for enhacements:
a) Longer standby time. It seems that the phone is consuming a lot of energy in idle mode. I switched off all features, no screen saver, black screen, lowest screen brightness, GPRS only, manual sync only .... and max 3 days between recharging. Maybe not a MfE issue.
b) Simple switch for scheduled/manuel mode (due to a) - maybe via profiles? I think the profile concept has good potential.
c) Top level access to synchronisation command. Due to a) I use manual sync and it would improve usability to have direct access to the sync command. Today I need to open the Options menue and select Sync.Just as an idea, clicking 'Mail for Exchange' at the top could trigger sync.
d) Configurable character size in Mail. In most cases the displayed number of characters of the Email subject does not allow me to understand it. If I could choose a smaller character size of the subject only, I would not need to open the email.

Some songs came already loaded with my new ipad air that I hate and want to delete but can't locate the directory where they reside. I downloaded a file manager app but it only had the option to add new folders, not access the one's already on the ipad. I signed up for icloud and even bought itunes match at the direction of a blog someone wrote as a way to access the icloud song list and delete the songs. I deleted the album purchase (that I never made in the first place) listed in the purchase section of iTunes. The songs are not listed on my PC version of itunes so I can't delete them from there (right click and choose delete). They are only on the ipad itself. Why is it so difficult to simply remove a file from your ipad? Is there a way to delete these songs or am I stuck with them on my ipad music list? I reset the entire setup thinking it would erase everything on my ipad but that didn't work either. Please advise. Thanks.

What happens when you swipe it left and fight? You should get a Delete or Remove button. If Remove then there will be a cloud icon by the song after you remove the sound file from the iPod.
If it is U2 album then:

Mac does not list all folders in a SMB share

Hi guys, this is a bit of a weird one and I've tried everything I can think of.
In our house we have a media centre running Windows 7. It has several shares, one of which we'll call folder "X". Folder X opens correctly on the media centre, and any other Windows machine perfectly. Almost every other machine in the house is running OS X 10.6, and one of my housemates today noted that some of the folders inside of folder X were not listed on a Mac. So far we've tested it on 2 Macs and 2 Windows machines, and everytime the Windows machine lists all folders inside of X, where the Mac does not. The weird thing is, it's cutting them out alphabetically, so it's basically from D through to I that are missing, all in all there are 30 (out of 160) folders missing inside of Folder X...here's what I've tried.
On the Windows 7 machine:
-Restarted server service
-Removed Share X and re-added
-Checked share permissions on folder X
-Checked permissions on folder X, propagated to all child folders just in case.
-Restarted machine after every change.
On the Macs we haven't really tried much as there's not much we can think to change. We've tried Finder, Path Finder (which I'm guessing will be exactly the same), restarting, removing from workgroup and re-adding...I can't think what would cause such a weird problem.
To make things harder we don't know exactly when it started happening but the OSX machines definitely used to list the folders and it happens on more than one mac. which I guess makes me think it's something on the Windows client. The 30 folders are not using any nonstandard characters, some are only a few letters long.
Ideas on a postcard!?

Reporting the same problem.
1. Have Windows 7 MediaCenter with file sharing set up properly (LM+NTLM Authentication allowed and 128-bit encryption disabled in security policies).
2. Test folder ("C:\income") and all the subfolders' owner is 'Guest', full access is granted for everyone.
3. Connecting to MediaCenter from MacBook with Finder by pressing Cmd+K and typing smb://ip-addr/income
4. Finder connects successfully, but some sub-folders and files are not being listed.
Workaround:
5. You can open a not-listed folder directly by pressing Cmd+K and typing smb://ip-addr/income/some-invisible-folder
6. Voila! You're inside invisible folder.
In the meantime, i can see all the sub-folders on a Windows XP client machine, so i can make a conclusion that all of these 'invisible' sub-folders are actually accessible by Finder, but in some reason are just not being listed on Mac.

How do I stop Mac App Store apps listing as "Accept" rather than the purchase price?

I'm attempting to buy iPhoto '11 from the Mac App Store but it lists as "Accept" rather than the purchase price.
When I click on Accept a message pops up saying "These apps cannot be accepted by your Apple ID: These apps were already assigned to another Apple ID, and they will be available in that Apple ID's Purchases list. If you don't have access to that Apple ID and want to receive future updates, you will need to purchase the applications."
The pop-up gives the option to hit OK and there are no other buttons.
iPhoto '11 is not in my purchases list. I have never bought it before. I am using a second hand Mac and I suspect the previous owner may have downloaded iPhoto but it is no longer installed anywhere on the system and I am the sole user of it. There are no other accounts on this Mac and it looks like it was reformatted back to scratch before I bought it.
The problem is I cannot find any way to reset the "Accept" option so I can actually purchase the App.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

IN BW UCCHECK transaction for Unicode does not list Transfer/Update rules

We are going to update our BW system to install Enhancement Package 1 SP 7 on our BW 7.0 and we are going also to convert our data base to Unicode.
We used the UCCKECK Transaction to have a list of the abap programs to be modified before the u201Cconversionu201D procedure.
But the transaction does not list the abap code included into transfer rules, update rules and start routines.
Have you an idea to recover them?
And do you think the conversion procedure will abort if these kinds of routines are not adjusted or they will go in error at runtime?
Do you have experienced this problem?

Unfortunately we started to develop our routines in BW2.0 and checking some of them we receive the error u201CIn Unicode programs, the "-" character cannot appear in names, as it does here in the name "W-DATE" u201Du2026
And further more in subsequent BW releases the same error is only a u201Cwarningu201D into a NON Unicode system.
So I think we should check and correct all our routines before the Unicode conversion.

I want to enable Text Message Forwarding but my iMessage doesn't have my phone number listed like it has my e-mails. iMessage currently works but I wish to have my text messages forwarded as well. Everything is up to date.

In this Original Post you list only an iPhone.
If it is this device that is not listing the iPhone Number then you need to sort that bit out first.
Remove th Apple ID.
Place in Airplane Mode for two Minutes.
Return to the Settings > Messages and confirm the Number Verifies before proceeding.
If a Mac is involved Send a test iMessages (which will be from the iPhone Number only) to the Apple ID (Mac).
Return the iMessage.
Add the Apple ID to the iPhone.
Restart the Mac version to see the Pop ups saying what the iPhone is Using and Accept them.
The Mac version should now show the iPhone number if that is what you meant.
Set the Send From IDs on both Mac and iPhone.
EDIT to lose a plural that shouldn't have been.
