Direct printing using rwrun or rwclient

Hello,
I have configured 10gAS(9.0.4.)Report Services on Windows 2003 per Oracle manual Publishing Reports to the Web, Part # B13673-01.
Per Oracle manual examples I can create a pdf file using the followig URL or command either in the browser or in the DOS command:
Browser:
http://bigdaddy/reports/rwservlet?d:\charts\stmt2.rdf&userid=uid/passwd@db&desformat=pdf&destype=file&desname=c:\suresh.pdf
DOS Window:
rwrun report=stmt2.rdf userid=uid/passwd@db desformat=pdf destype=file desname=c:\suresh.pdf
But when I try to print it directly to the printer, the report does not print, I get "Successfully run" message.
If I run it from the Report Builder by entering Initial Value for the printer as printer1, it prints.
It just does not print from the 10gAS.

printer1 is a network printer.
Have I missed something in Configuring the 10gAS report services ?

Hi Philip,
Sorry, I was on vacation, hence the delay.
First of all let me calrify that we have PCL and
DOT matrix printers on Windows
I tried your 1st method. Stopped the printer Q, and started the report. There was nothing in the Q.
Then I tried your second method. 10gAS does not recognise
PCL or postscript as desformat.
Then I tried using printer name as desformat and it gave me a dialog box for downloading and saving the file etc.
Anyway, that file was in binary and could not be read.
In another thread, I saw that you can create RTF files with mimetype=application/word.
When I use destype=file&desname=c:\suresh.doc ot creates
the word document which I can print later, but when I use destype=file&desname=printer1 for direct printing it does not print the report.
Any suggestions.
