Direct Telephone Number to Call to Return ActionTec DSL Wireless Router Modem

The Verizon repairman repaired problem with our new ADT alarm interfering with our DSL internet connection. However, connection is very slow (like dial-up). He said we need to replace our Actiontec DSL Wireless Router Modem because it is "dropping packets". What is the direct phone number at Verizon to call to get info on how to return the modem and get a new one? We own the modem (bought it 2 years ago from Verizon).

I recommend calling 800-567-6789 and I believe it's option 1 for tech support, and option 1 for Windows, and option 1 for High Speed Internet (HSI).
A Verizon Online tech support consultant should be able to place an order to drop ship replacement equipment. I am unaware of any potential charge to do so. I believe with HSI modems and routers have a one year warranty under which Verizon will absorb the cost of a replacement.

Setting the Airport into bridge mode won't affect the speed either way - that's a function of your internet connection and also your wireless signal. Bridge mode avoids the conflicts which arise when two routers are both trying to allocate IP numbers to the connected devices (this might cause speed loss, though more usually it simply prevents connection).
If you are only connecting wirelessly to the Airport you should if possible turn off the wireless on the Verizon as it's simply cluttering the airwaves.

Using an Actiontec Router/modem

I am helping a neighbor hook up her wireless network.
she has cable internet (she just switched from dsl on Qwest which she had a dsl wireless router/modem from)
Can anyone tell me if we can use this on the cable network?
I was thinking :
Hook PC to Cablebox, cable box to Actiontec.
Actiontec wirelessly transmits to Macs.

Laura,
The new ISP will know better what hardware (cable modem) is compatible with their system. You can also check with the manufacturer whether their combo modem/router can be used with cable service. Without knowing what modem/router you have it's hard (for me) to research. However, in as much as you have the info you can do the research.

Telephone number - Clickable request

Please forgive me if I have done this wrong - this is my first post
I have created a PDF, in Acrobat X on Win XP, that has 'cells' or fields that a manager as well as an engineer can fill in
What I am unable to do is make the telephone field - CLICKABLE
i.e. when the Eng opens the PDF on his/her iPhone, using Acrobat Reader, they can click on the telephone number to call the client
(Similarly, they could click on the address to open up a map? - Telephone link is the main question though)
Any ideas or help would be appreciated

Not possible, unless the calling is done from a web-site, in which case you
can launch that site.
Same goes for a map.

Actual phone number to call someone at skype

I have searched the skype.com and just cannot find a telephone number to call someone at skype customer service. Can someone help please?

E52: How to display caller phone number in call?

Hi,
May I know how to display the telephone number in call for E52?
It is only displaying the contact name in my phone book. How can I get the contact number to be displayed too?
For callers whose number is not in my phone book, I will not be able to see the number at all when I am talking. Any idea how to show the number while I am talking?

Actiontec dsl Gateway and WRT160N don't play well together

I have an actiontec dsl gateway router as my entry point to the network that also provides one wireless zone downstairs. Upstairs where the signal is weak I had long used an apple airport connected via ethernet cable. Then the apple died and I chose to replace it with a WRT160n. Although everything checked out fine during configuration, it would drop connections and although it appeared was impossible sometimes to connect to with lots of timeouts etc.
Now the entire network has slowed down considerably. After I took off the new router things sped up again. Any ideas on how to set this up better or troubleshoot what's happening?

Adjust the Wireless Settings on your Router -
Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...Under Setup change the MTU to 1350 and save the changes...
For Wireless Settings, please do the following : -
Click on the Wireless tab
- Here select manual configuration...Wireless Network mode should be mixed...
- Provide a unique name in the Wireless Network Name (SSID) box in order to differentiate your network from your neighbours network...
- Set the Radio Band to Standard-20MHz and change the Standard channel to 11-2.462GHz...Wireless SSID broadcast should be Enabled and then click on Save Settings...
Please make a note of Wireless Network Name (SSID) as this is the Network Identifier...
For Wireless Security : -
Click on the Sub tab under Wireless > Wireless Security...
Change the Wireless security mode to WEP, Encryption should be 64 bit.Leave the passphrase blank, don't type in anything...
Under WEP Key 1 type in any 10 numbers please(numbers only and no letters eg: your 10 digit phone number) and click on save settings...
Please make a note of WEP Key 1 as this is the Security Key for the Wireless Network...
Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
Change the Beacon Interval to 75 >>Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304, Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 >>Click on "Save Settings"...
Now see if you can locate your Wireless Network and attempt to connect...

WD TV Live HD & Actiontec router/modem [FiOS]

I recently switched to Verizon's FiOS service and I can no longer connect to the internet with my WD TV Live HD box. I have an Actiontec MI424-WR router/modem. The WD box worked fine for the last year or so with my other ISP. I have a wired connection and can see the WD box when I go to the admin screen of the router/modem.
Can someone please help me out?

Account Identification thru Account no instead of telephone number

My Client has a CTI solution which is already in use by the call center agents.
As of now, the call center agents are using Desktop Manager through which they are using the accept, reject or other functions.
Now they want to replace the Desktop Manager with SAP CRM Webclient functions to use the functions like Accept, Reject, Hold ...
The current status is, i have done the configuration in which i have integrated CTI with SAP CRM 7.0 and the ICWC is able to identify the caller based on the telephone no. saved in the BP.
The main challenge what i am facing is, the client doesnt want to use the Customer's telephone number to identify instead they want to use Contract Account no. or Legacy number to identify the customer.
Do we need any connector to do this.
How can i achieve this. I would really appreciate your advise on this.

In the CTI scenario that is conected to the ACD switch and have an IVR/VRU (Interactive Voice Responce System), in the CRM 7.0 IC/CTI standard intergated scenario, CRM IC system performs the search for Account by ID that is in the Call Attached Data (if CAD is configured for Identification profile for your Business Role) and it is passed thru IVR (customer enters it via dail pad on his phone or does not enter it).
If the Account ID value is not in the CAD (customer has not entered that number in IVR) or the search for a customer by this ID failed in CRM, then system will try to search by the phone number. It will find a cusomer in your CRM system if this phone number is maintained on this cusomer, otherwise no search results returned and agents can perform search manually.

You were right.....
using:
SQL> EXEC DBMS_STATS.gather_schema_stats(ownname => 'SCOTT');
the optimizer does follow the 'waited' access path....for the 'PUBLIC' records.....
It seems that using the analyze table statement does not permit to gather all the necessary statistics.....(that's why it is depreciated)...!!!!

Skype account yearly telephone number charge

On Dec 19, 2014 Skype charged me $30.00 for the yearly telephone number, on Dec 22, 2014 Skype charged me $30.05 stating it was for the yearly telephone number. I had PayPal reverse the charge of $30.00 for the Skype number and received an email from Skype stating that my number will expire in Dec 30, 2014. I go to my Skype account and it says that my telephone number has expired, so Skype what is up??? Are you trying to say that you’re yearly charge for a Skype telephone number is $60.05? It was my understanding from Skype that a Skype yearly telephone number was $30.00 per year, yet when I ask PayPal to return one of your charges of $30.00 your email to me and my account says it will be expiring soon, so what is going on????

Incoming Telephone number field in sales order

Dear All,
I'm replicating Interaction Center Sales orders to an external system through IDOCs. A customer may have more than one telephone number.
Is their a field in the sales order IDOC that contains the customer incoming call telephone number? It is a must for the external system to know this call number incase of further contact with the customer
I gota field in the partner information "Tel1" but it always get the default telephone of the customer not the telephone in the incoming call

Recently we've had quite similar requirement. I haven't got any standard solution for that.
But what we've done. We store this number in the partner's address in the document (I think, in the field you've mentioned). We access this number in the following way in some view controller (actually, in IR view):
