Director 11 Lacks MacOS 10.5 Authoring & Playback

Can you believe it?
Does anyone know if this is something that Adobe plans to
address this in a soon, free update? It's odd enough to have an
authoring tool released without support for the current OS
versions, but to have no mention of its imminent remedy is
downright odd.

You say you "published"? I tried on both Mac 10.5 and Windows
XP. In both cases the projector is dissabled. Are we to assume this
is because its a 30 day demo?
Generally my feeling, as a 20 year user of Director, is that
this is not only longest awaited upgrade of all times, but also the
worst upgrade:
The "Much improved text handling" is very bad.
The Unicode support is an outrage. It transpires that there
is absolutely NO support for RTL (Right to Left) languages (Arabic,
Hebrew, etc.)
The interface improvements are so subtle I have yet to find
them.
No speed improvements.
Crashes.
... and many more.
At most I would say its version 10.2 and a free upgrade to
all MX 2004 users.
Jokes aside, I really think that all us loyal supporters and
Director users whov'e been waiting and waiting, should put a total
ban on purchasing this version.
Send out a loud and very clear message to Adobe that there's
a limit to how long they can hype and con us. We deserve better.
