Director publishing through Mac App Store
Hey Friends,
Has anyone had success in packaging a Director App for the Mac App Store?
I have a number of software items I am looking to update and release for this channel. But want to make sure they can go in to the store first. Anyone care to share their path to publishing with the Application Loader of the Mac App Store?

No you are only qualified for an update when you bought a mac that doesnt include mountain lion. Buying the older version OS X lion does not fall into that category.

If you recently bought a new Mac that doesn’t include OS X Mountain Lion, you can upgrade for free from the Mac App Store. You may qualify for the Up-to-Date Program if you bought your Mac from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller on or after June 11, 2012. -
Is it possible to publish a Director Project/movie to Mac App Store? I know it is possible to publish to iOs, but what about Mac's

HP printer updates through Mac App Store
Hello! I have a HP Photosmart 6520 printer since last week. I've done a wi-fi installation following the steps of the HP software that was with the printer. The last (and only) update has been via the touch screen of the printer itself because the Mac App Store didn't show any update. I'd like the next updates to be via the Mac App Store. How can I do? Should I re-install the printer through System Preferences > Printers and Scanners instead of through the HP software?
(Just to be clear, I'm talking about this: OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download - Apple Support)You can get drivers directly from the manufacturer.

How to download through Mac App Store if on 10.6.8?
Hi!
I got a clean new install of OS 10.6.8 on my laptop (i CANT upgrade to Lion, as i NEED Rosetta for my old Imacon scanner software).
Previously I purchased iWork components through App Store. Now i can't download them - there is no download button, only a "OS 10.7 required" message.
Now, as I said before, i don't wan't and can't upgrade as it will negatively affect my productivity.
Does that mean that I lost access to my legally purchased Apple software?
Even if i try to find a trial version somewhere, I dont have a serial number, as, again, I purchased iWork on Mac App Store.
Is there any solution for my trouble?

Purchase OS MOuntain Lion through Mac App Store but it stated error has occurred.

Need help here.
I purchase OS X Mountain Lion tgrought Mac App Store but it stated an error has occured and it was not completely download.
In the purchase box, the application is under "other purchase" and the button is blank. I can't resume download despite its stated error.
However purchase has been billed in my credit card.
My current OS X version is 10.7.5.
Please help how to download again and if cannot how to get the money back ?

CellaLook in the Applications folder for the Mountain Lion installer. If you find it or a partial download, delete it and see if you can start the download again.

Can't do any updates through Mac App Store for Mountain Lion
I am just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
I have not seen anything posted around the internet, but when I try to check for a Software Update by using Apple Menu -> Software Update it tries to connect to the App Store and then says it is unavailable at this time, and I am using my schools wifi network, when I use my phone as a hotspot, it just tells me it can't connect to the App Store.
Any ideas?The servers may be busy. It happens.

I am trying to upgrade to Lion. I need to go through Mac App store to buy it. I need to get the Mac App store icon in my dock. I have run Update Software several times, trying to get the Mac App store onto my iMac, but with no luck. It doesn't show up in the dock, it doesn't show up in Finder under Applications, and it doesn't show up when I search in Searchlight for App Store, Store, Mac App Store, etc. What am I doing wrong?

You arne't necessarily doing anything wrong.
Install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
That should reinstall the App Store for you.
Restart your Mac after the combo is finished installing.
You should see the App Store icon in the Dock and be able to access from your Apple menu also.
Make sure your Mac meet's Lion's requirements -

I have recently updated my version of Snow Leopard, but realised that the Lion has just been released. I want to downlaod/purchase Lion, which can only be done through Mac App Store by the looks of it. For some reason I do not have Mac App Store (despite having just updated my version og Snow Leopard) and I can't download it from macupdate either?
What could the problem be and how do I go about resolving it?

If it isn't there, maybe Spotlight can find it - Cmd + Space, or click the magnifying glass at the top right of your screen, and start typing "app"

App to upgrade on Mac App Store with email that is not mine

I have an update of a free app on Mac App Store called "Itsy". However, i never install that app through Mac App Store or by other means! When i try to install it through Mac App Store i can't do it and Mac App Store ask me for the password of the following email "**@**.de"! This email it is not mine and i don't know how i get it! I buy my new MacBook Pro last week on an Apple Store! Anyone can tell me how i solve it? Or i should make a fresh install?

When i restart my mac, FaceTime was 1.0.2 not 1.0! Do you think that some information from FaceTime 1.0 stay in my mac even FaceTime was upgraded to 1.0.2? I removed FaceTime 1.0.2 with AppDelete (I bought it ) but this problem persist! I just solve my problem making a fresh install. However, it is strange because, if it was a problem of Mac App Store, my problem shouldn't disappear, but the fact is that it really disappear! But i have another question. If it was a problem from FaceTime 1.0, why when i delete FaceTime using AppDelete this problem don't disappear?

Halfway through the OS X Yosemite update it says I am not connected to the internet (when I know I am because I can search through the app store). How can I fix this? I cannot get on Safari because it requires an update to Mac OS X 10.9 or later.
Just to be clear. You have downloaded the Yosemite installer. However you say while it's updating you get the error you are not online. This is confusing since you shouldn't be able to use your computer in the process of updating.
Exactly where do you see you need to 10.9 to get on Safari? -
I download quite a few magazines through the app store on my iPad. I just bought an iMac and was wondering if there is a way to transfer those purchases over so that I could read them on my Mac?
You should be able to use the OpenVPN Connect app running on your iPad to connect your iPad to the VPN directly. It is an official OpenVPN client for iOS devices.
In what way is it "not compatible"? Have you tried it? Tunnelblick is an OpenVPN client, so your school's VPN is using the OpenVPN protocol. That means any OpenVPN client should be able to access it. (It is possible, but unlikely, that your school uses encryption that is not available on the iPad, but that would be very unusual.)
Otherwise, a remote control app on your iPad would let you control your Mac at home. "Back to My Mac", for example, would allow you to control your Mac remotely. The tricky part of this is that usually a VPN is set up to send all Internet traffic via the VPN server, and I'm not sure how that would work with "Back to My Mac". -

i can't sign in my apple Id account through the app store app on my mac book air but I am able to sign in through itunes.
They called Apple I Was talking to them on My Apple iPhone 5 & i was not getting any help today but they said on the phone that they sent a letter to Apple Engineers department & there gonna take care of it, i really hope that I Can get Back into My Apple ID Account??? i'm going to Cry if i can't??? I Bought 1000's & 1000's & 1000's of iTunes Stuff over the years since it 1st started, i would hate losing all that i'm going to Kill Myself if i can't get into My other Apple ID Account
