Directory Configuration
Hi All,
After Directory configuration is done, if we make any changes to SLD Business System (like delete and recreate with same name), how it will affect the configuration.
Thanks,
Sree
Hi Rama,
Most of the time Cache will not update on time. If so, then , if your Business System is having same name then it may not give problem. And you may required to do Cache Refresh.
XI 3.0: Integration Directory -> Environment -> Clear SLD Data Cache
But other case is also may happen(if it is not reflected.) So that , you need to Reassign the Business system created in the SLD.

May be the problem is a network connectivity issue. Do one thing copy the "cahce" folder from some other client PC(which has successfully opened IR and ID) to your client PC. The folder resides in "C:Documents and Settings<yourUserProfile>Application DataSunJavaDeploymentjavaws".
Copy "cache" folder to your client PC under the above path.

Click on Administration -> Java Web Start -> Java Web Start Administration ->
Try
1. Re-initialization (then try logging)
2. Re-initialization and force-signing (then try logging)
3. Delete lock (then try logging)
Do this for IR and ID tabs.
3) Check can be a firewall issue.
4) Check wether sufficient roles have been assigned -> Tcode -> SU01 -> roles tab. These roles need to be assigned to your username

MS active Directory Configuration on SAP 4.7 and ECC6.0
Hello
Can anybody guide the steps required for MS Active Directory Configuration with SAP 4.7 on AIX and
and ECC 6.0 also on AIX 5.3.
Currently we are using many different applications on client landscape.
The requirement is for implementing the Single Sign On for all the applications
on the client landscape.Please check

Internet Directory Configuration Assistant fails
I have installed 10g Infrastructure, but when the Internet Directory Configuration Assistant runs, it fails with the following error:
Output generated from configuration assistant "Internet Directory Configuration Assistant":
389
636
cn=orcladmin
asdb
infra904.superfatpc
Error occured during the previous operation. Please see the log files.oracle.ldap.oidinstall.backend.OIDCAException: The following port is not free :389
Configuration assistant "Internet Directory Configuration Assistant" failed
The ports 389 and 636 are surely free (no process holds them).
Even though the OIDCA fails, I still can log in the directory at port 389. (There's no entry in the directory at all)
In the release notes for version 9.0.4 of OracleAS, there's a section titled:
Configuration Assistant Failure on Computer without Appended Domain Name.
This is actually my case since my computer do not have the domain name appended, it's just a standardlone computer.
Oracle also exposes the solutions to workarround this issue, but it couldn't help me because my tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora are already correct.
If any one has experience with this problem before, please help me!
My computer:
P4 2.8GHz, socket 775, 1G RAM
OS: Windows Server 2003
OracleAS 9.0.4Did the installer pre-check return any warnings? can you connect to the OID backend DB. e.g. via sqlplus? Basically this looks like a TAR you should open at metalink.

Directory configuration could not be completed during instal
Scenario:
1) New install sles 11 + oes 11
2) Have backup of domain and postoffice from a dead Groupwise 8 server
3) Upgraded to Groupwise 2014 using copies of the Backup of domain and post office copied onto new server.
4) Everything works - or seems to.
BUT Admin Notifications show this message

Local Directory Configuration with out LDAP
Hello Experts,
We are in the processing of setting up E-Sorucing application. Do any have experience on setting up the Directory configuration using a local driver.
It talks about placing the password.properties file in the folder esourcing/config. Has any been able to configure this. Need inputs and pointer for content of the password.properties as well as appropriate settings in the direcory configuration.
Thanks is advance,
BR, JithHi Jith
When you are using local directory configuration without LDAP, you need to follow the procedure below
If no LDAP connection is available, you can temporarily use the local driver to
maintain user account passwords in a flat file, password.properties, located in
eSourcing/config. This should only be used as a temporary solution for sandboxes or
development systems, as you cannot go into Production mode with a directory
configuration using the local driver
Incase the file password.properties isnt available in your eSourcing/config folder, you need to do some settings as mentioned below, the password.properties file gets generated automatically.
Local Directory Set up
Use this configuration when connecting to a real LDAP server is impossible, inconvenient, or undesired.
Property Setting
External ID Enabled
Display Name Disabled
Usage Active Buyside
Driver Local
Directory Username Enter any text, such as n/a
Directory Password Enter any text, such as n/a
UID Schema No value is needed
Changeable Passwords Enabled
Expired Passwords Enabled
New Accounts Enabled
Browsing Disabled
All Controls Disabled
Properties No values are needed
Let me know if the issue is resolved, if this is successful and your SMTP is configured correctly, you will receive the welcome mail from the application for a Buyer Account that you created at that point.

After the installation I found this error in the administration console:
"Directory configuration could not be completed during install. It is required for MTA sync."
GroupWise seems to work alright, though.
What does the error mean, and do I have to take action?
GW2014 is installed on Win2008R2, without any directory associations. It’s an upgrade from GW2012 on Win2003R2, with eDirectory association.
Thanks!
Jens Jakob Sørensen
Dansk Centralbibliotek for SydslesvigThanks for the answer, but as I wrote
"GW2014 is installed on Win2008R2, without any directory associations."
Since we upgraded from 2012 with eDirectory, I expect it's some leftovers from the old installation.
I just don't know if my GW2014 might have a (hidden) malfunction somewhere due to this error.
Thanks
Jens Jakob

Check your eDirectory configuration and check the log of the mta where
you activated the eDir sync. Check if you have the "Tree" Object in LDAP
Servers and it holds correct information.
If that is all working fine, check if your users (check when connected
to each domain) have correct LDAP information - if not, see that your
primary domain holds correct information and then rebuild each secondary
domain from the primary (at least that was that I did).

"Basic' Driver set up in Directory Configuration
Hi,
We have a 'Local' driver set for both Buy Side and Sell Side directory configuration..We got the recommendation from SAP that in Production Mode SSO is possible only with LDAP and 'Local' Driver would not work anymore..
So we found that by turning on the 'Basic' Driver option under Directory Configuration, there is no disruption in SSO and all the business process seems to work fine in 'Production' mode too..
My question is whether we can Go-Live on without LDAP for ESO Production and with 'BASIC' driver turned on?

Gaurav - Already we have Lockbox process with HSBC and Scotia. I see in OB10 that the same Lockbox number 0044491 defined for all these Bank. I am not sure how the same number defined for all these Banks.
I am now extending this functionality to our BoA Account. I have done FI12,OBAX, OBAY set up and uploaded test file generated by the program successfully. I did not get any issue, though OB10 is missing.
I will check with Business and if they confirm that the same number should be used for new account also, Can I maintain as below by removing House Bank - HB from the below existing entry.
So that the Lockbox number can be used by all the House Bank in CoCd 0001.

Open Directory Configuration Question
I've got a Mac-Mini based server running Mountain Lion (10.8.3) and Server.app (2.2.1). The server was migrated from Lion some weeks ago, the Server works OK, but seeing odd CPU usage and fairly frequent non-specific error reports which suggests that there are still a few odd gremlins lurking around that I'm trying to track down. So I'm trying to find things that appear odd. I've found one such in the reported configuration for Open Directory.
The server is configured to be an Open Directory master, and is the only Open Directory server we have. The panel for Open Directory in Server.app lists the single entry as follows:
* www.2gc.org (master)
* 10.0.1.2, 10.211.55.2, 10.37.129.2
The first IP address is the IP address of the server on our LAN. I have no idea what the second and third IP addresses are - they do not appear to have anything to do with any network we have configured. They are from the "private" address space - so I'm guessing they are non-functional since we don't have a network using either with these IP ranges within them - but they must have come from somewhere.
It is also not clear where / how these entries are set within ML.
It may be that this is all perfectly normal, or maybe symptomatic of something that can be cleaned up.
Would value any thoughts.
Thanks in advance.Hi Simon
Thanks for the thoughts. There are no other servers on the network - this is an isolated computer parked on a fixed IP with no downstream LAN - the 10.0.1.2 address is the one assigned it by the router that connects it to the outside world - but no other devices are connected to the sub-net the machine sits on: all services are provided through the fixed IP to machines accessing it directly from internet via FQDN.
All of which makes the presence of the other two IPs curious, and apparently unnecessary.
Good housekeeping suggests they could be removed - but unclear how these entries are set. But in the interim good to know that the presence of these IPs is probalby harmless. -
Integration Directory configurations for IDOC - XI - File
Hi all,
I have a scenario as above: IDOC-XI-FILE
The IDOCs come from an R/3 system - NHGDDBS01.
I've configured 2 BS:
1) BS_NHGDDBS01
-> TS: NHGDDBS01, type: WebAS ABAP
-> SWCV: BASIS 6.20
2) BS_DEV1_NAUTICUS_OOTS
-> TS: TS_DEV1_NAUTICUS_OOTS, type:Third Party.
-> SWCV: SWCV_DEV1_NAUTICUS_OOTS, type: Third Party
-> PDT: PDT_NAUTICUS_OOTS
With this setup, can someone help me by showing me how to configure the Integration Directory in order to receive IDoc from R/3 (nhgddbs01)?
Please help.
Thanks.

Port: SAPDV1
Client:108
Description: <blank>
RFC_Destination: PI_001 (This RFC destination points to DV1, despite the naming. Connection test is successful)
I recreated metadata on IDX2:
IDoc Types: ZPATINFO
Source Port: SAPDV1
IDoc Types: ZADMINFO
Source Port: SAPDV1
However, when I test the message from R/3 using WE17, <b>SM58 on R/3 </b>it's still showing the error:
Transaction IDX1: Port SAPDV1_108, client 108, RFC Destination error.
May I know where did this error occur and how to rectify this?
Please advise.
Thanks.

NO Interface Mapping found in the Integration Directory (Configuration)
Hi,
I've got following problem with PI 7.0::
I have a Mapping Scenario designed in the IR. It works - using test function - there. If I go to the COnfiguration Tool during creating of the Interface Determination it doesn't find the Interface Mapping. The Sender resp. Receiver Interfaces are correct assigned to the Business Systems.
- Sender Business System is a FTP Server, which contains the needed Sender Interface.
- Receiver Business System is a SAP R3 System containing the RFC Receiver Interface.
I had to change the Related Integration Server of the SAP Business System in the SLD. How can I be shure, that my PI System is syncronous with the SLD? How can i get the newest changes - BS, TS or SC - from the SLD updated to my PI?
Thx in advance
MichaelHi,
You must make sure that you have correctly identified the interfaces in your interface mapping.
1. Message Interfaces are correctly configured
2. Outbound/Inbound Interfaces are correctly declared in Interface Mapping
Otherwise, your interface mapping would not be found in the interface determination in Integration Directory.
