Directory doesn't really exist - linked to another
I have discovered a weird issue with my Lightroom catalog that, unfortunately, may have resulted in me inadvertently deleting some images. Some folders in the Folders pane are somehow "linked" for the lack of a better term. For example, I have the following two folders:
2006_04_29
2006-04-29
I'm trying to clean up my catalog so I've been moving/renaming (through Lightroom) to fix the issue. The weird thing is if I open an image in 2006_04_29 and look at the system file info, it shows it actually lives in 2006-04-29. Unfortunately, this is after I deleted a dozen or so folders.
I'm not sure if this may have happened back in the Lightroom 2/3 days before I knew not to move things outside of Lightroom, but I'm surprised the catalog optimization or synchronization both didn't fix it.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

The oraInst.loc file contains the entry "inventory_loc=/home/orapdev/oraInventory"

Hi All,
I m getting the error 'Source Directory doesn't exist' in sender file adapter.
The source file directory doesn't exist in XI Server. Its in a different system.
gone through other sdn t hreads.
the options seems to be
1. either to mount the Source Directory on the XI Server.
2. Install a FTP server and use FTP protocol.
My doubt is that, could nt we give necessary access rights to the XIAFUSER whihc will access the Source Directory?

If you are using system other than XI, then you have to use FTP server
else check you have proper authorization of read/write to the source directory...
and check the name of it as well, as it is case sensetive and you have provided the proper details of server.

CD drive problems "Directory doesn't exist"
Seems like everybody has some variant of this problem. I'm having difficulty getting the CD drive to read the disks I put in. I'm using PCman as my file manager and when I try to access the CD drive I get a pair of error messages that simply say "..." This is followed by a third error saying "Directory doesn't exist." My HAL is configured for hotplugging if that matters.
I've been wrestling with this for a couple days and tried several solutions from both the wiki and the forum. Any help with fixing, or just suggestions on how to better diagnose the problem would be much appreciated.I had this problem using hal, Slim, openbox and pcmanfm. Solved it using this post

I only had to follow the two steps in the PS, after which I could access cd's as normal user.

Pdf links inside another Pdf doesn't work
Hi,
I am using Adobe Pdf Reader X(10.1.0). I am creating a PDF with html links embedded in it.
Links to normal files works properly (Like server/idcontent/new/ir.html)
But links to another pdf file doesn't work(Like server/idcontent/new/ir.pdf). When clicked on a .pdf link nothing happens. But where as other links works perfectly.
Can any one help me whether I am missing any setting in my Adobe Reader.

I am using 11i application on 9i database. I tried to run autoconfig on the apps tier. I navigate to COMMON_TOP/admin/scripts/bdev_oraapps
and ran auto config

I can't seem to find the proper directory to copy third pary plugins for use under Final Cut 10.1. The ../library/appliation support/final cut pro directory doesn't seem to exist. Where do I put these files?
Um - they didn't go there with 10.0.x either. All the effects, titles, transitions, and generators in FCP X are Motion templates and get placed in user/movies/motion templates, into the appropriate folder depending on the type of effect.

1) How do I embed another fla within fla.

swf into my fla file, I could only bundle it for mobile. Neither

3) After adding tweening motion to an animation, is it
possible to add buttons to play/pause? Do I have to write a script
to enable the buttons to work?
I tried adding buttons (Windows>components>video),
however, the buttons were not functioning like the case when I
imported a video. I think it's because adding tweening to an
animation doesn't really dismiss it as a video file.
I would greatly appreaciate if anyone could post a solution
to my problems.
Thanks.I am not so sure that this is a bug, and I have not been able to reproduce this behavior that you are describing.
But you can lock it from editing by right-clicking on the graph and go to Properties>>Appearance>>Enabled State --> Disabled
Also, word of advice for the future: You will get more replies from the community with shorter posts and keeping it to one question per post. Summarize what the issue is, and put the detailed documentation and instructions to reproduce in the actual VI.

The iPod is linked to another iTunes music library
My daughter just purchased an iTunes Shuffle with her birthday money. We imported several CDs into the iTunes Library and successfully loaded the iPod Shuffle with about 120 songs. We then turned off the computer. The next time we attached the iPod Shuffle to the USB port, iTunes opened up and gave the following message:
The iPod is linked to another iTunes music library. Do you want to change the link to this iTunes music library and replace all existing songs on this iPod with those from this library?
Wow, that's a confusing question. I answered "no" to it initially, and the message went away, leaving my library empty. I disconnected the iPod Shuffle and then reconnected it and got the same question. This time I answered "yes" and our library is still empty. I can see all the CDs we imported in the iTunes folder and the individual songs are there as well. But for some reason, the library is not displaying them. iTunes also doesn't show the icon for the iPod when it's connected. Any ideas on how to fix this situation?We are using this iPod on only 1 PC with 1 user with WinXP. I have been able to "file/add folder to library" to retrieve my daughter's songs. I also 'restored' the iPod to factory settings and updated it with the latest software and I did the same for the iTunes software. Everything is updated now. When I click on the button to "autofill" her iPod, I can get a few of the 118 songs in our library to download, but then I get an error messages that states, "Attempting to copy to the disk failed. An unknown error occurred. (-69)" Any ideas on what's happening here? Another I noticed that's strange is when I try to autofill the iPod, my 3.5" floppy light starts blinking. Perhaps this iPod software thinks the floppy is the iPod???

I have a new machine with a previous installation of Itunes, linked to another Apple ID. Even I authorized the machine to my Apple ID, I can not connect to the Apple Store. I tried removing Itunes and reinstalling it, but anything changed. I still can not connecto to the Store.
My previous machine has Itunes Installed, and I deauthorized the machine so I unlinked to my Apple ID, if this is correct.
Anyway, Dropbox is also not connecting....so I do not know how to make it woek. please help!I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -

Creating a database link to another schema in the same database
Hello,
I'm trying to create a database link to another schema in the same database. It was created without errors, but when I try to use it I receive "ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified" message...
I'm trying to do it because on my production enviroment the databases are separated, so there I can use database links without problem, but in my development environment it's all in one database separated by schemas...
So I'm trying to simulate the same system to not need to rewrite the query every time I move from development to production environment.
Any ideas?

Yes, you can create a database link to your own database. I've done it before for exactly the same reason you want to.
(By the way, I think it's a good reason. What are the alternatives?
Having different versions of code for Development and Production? Absolutely not! Terrible idea!
Using synonyms or substitution variables that are set differently in the different databases? That might be more efficient than a database link, but efficiency probably isn't such a big issue in Development.
[Conditional compilation|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/appdev.111/b28370/fundamentals.htm#sthref250]? This might be good; it has all the efficienty of the above options, with more clarity.)
Assuming you do want to stick with a database link, not all errors are caught when you create the link.
Is the Development database in the tnsnames.ora file of the Development server? Do you have other database links, either in the Development server or pointing to it, that work? What is different about the ones that work, and the one that doesn't?

The more I think about this, the more I agree with the earlier respondent: synonymns are a good solution for this.
To that suggestion you replied:

from SCHEMA_table_ptr;where schema_table_ptr is a synonym.
In Development, that synonym is defined as schema.table.
In Production, that synonym is defined as table@SCHEMA
Why are you "looking for an option to use the second way"?
If you think that people reading the code should realize that the query is being done via a database link (at least in Production), then add a comment. -

Suddenly the working CRM is being stopped for some group of users.
I drilled down to the issue and have checked that the users from Domain in which CRM is installed are having CRM access.
But for other domain user having problem to access CRM.
I tried to add a user from a domain which is not of CRM domain then it gives following error.
"Business Management Error: You are attempting to create a user with a domain logon that does not exist. Select another domain logon and try again.
<Message>LookupAccountNameW failed with error</Message> "
The change is made - AD group have upgraded Activer Directory server to 2012 R2
Please help as the Production CRM is not working for other domain user.We have Activer Directory Structure like below.
One Root Domain says A
and there are multiple child domain like B,C,D etc...
B,C and D are all in same level,they are child of A domain.
There are two way transitive trusts between A and all the child Domain.
But there is no trust in between B and C and so on.
Our CRM server is in B domain and B domain's user can access CRM but users of Domain C,D and so on can not access CRM.

Some sites load fine. But some sites will not load when linked from another web site, or, occasionally, even from my bookmarks. I went through troubleshooting routine--cleared cache and cookies, history, checked in Safe Mode for extensions, etc., but still will not work in Safe Mode. No other problems with computer or browser.
What happens when you click the link that does not open up the new page? Is it a blank page? Does this also happen if you Shift Click the link?

Cannot change existing link in CS4 on Windows 7
I am really hoping that some else has run into this issue!
I have Dreamweaver CS4 running on a 64 bit version of Windows 7. When I try to edit an existing link via the Properties panel the link will not change when I select a new page/file. Now if I select a page/file I don't want to link to, then the page/file that I want to link to it works fine. Seems to me that a person shouldn't have to do that to link to a different page/file. I never had to do that when I was running XP.
Here is a screen of what I see when I first click on a different page/file. Notice the URL at the bottom still shows the old file.
Any help here would be much appreciated.Unfortunately that's a known bug with CS4 on Win 7 and Vista SP2.

Adobe has never issued a patch for CS4.
The only options are to live with a workaround (select a different folder first then select the folder/file you really want) or upgrade to CS5.
I'm in the same boat as you. I've frustratingly accepted that Adobe won't be patching it in CS4 and I have to workaround it.
