Directory Missing

Hi,
The directory oracle is missing from the location
]$ pwd
/u04/Rel11i/devora/8.0.6/forms60/java
$ cd oracle
-bash: cd: oracle: No such file or directory
How to resolve this.Anyone Pls help...
Thanks,
Praveen

I copied that oracle directory structure from another instance and the patch which was not working
worked fine.I think that generation of jar files was also an issue of not having this oracle dir structure
as the patch was failing at that stepThis is expected, since Registry.dat should exist under $806_ORACLE_HOME/form60/java/registry/ and none of the files/directories should be missing under $806_ORACLE_HOME/form60/java
But still i have to copy the Directories you menionted?Yes, you should copy all those files in order to have an identical copy of your source instance. Can you list the directories which you have copied when you cloned the instance?

  • Exchange 2013 mail contact in Active Directory missing SMTP email address but has a primary email address

Outlook 2010 Distribution Group contact member "Al" is not showing an email address. In Active Directory "Al" is showing an email address but it's not a SMTP email address that is created when you add a new Mail contact using EAC.
When the DG owner sends out an email using DG email account, the mail bounces back as undeliverable.
Exchange Admin Center is not showing the member.  The only way to fix the member is by deleting the contact. Re-add contact in EAC then add to Distribution Group.  We have over 30 DGs that are missing the SMTP email addresses.
Can a Powershell command fix this issue or is there a sync issue between AD and Exchange?

    Hi,
From your description, the contact you specified should be contact not mail contact. Contact and mail contact are two different things. If you create a contact in ADUC, you need to mail-enable it and then set the primary SMTP address for it.

  • Cdrom directory missing in root

    Hi guys,
thanks for helping out. I recently installed solaris 10 zfs in netra240 server. This netra240 has a DVD Rom. However, in the root directory, there is no cdrom. It is missing. I will glad if someone can help me resolve this issue.
    Thank you again.

    Hi,
The Solaris OS has a Volume Management Utility managed by SMF Service (svc:/system/filesystem/volfs:default). It will automatically mount the cdrom under /cdrom when you insert one in the drive. It it doesn't mount it, you have to mount it manually. The procedure is:
    1. Disable the volfs service. (svcadm disable -v volfs).
    2. mount the cdrom. (mount -F hsfs /dev/dsk/<cdrom> /cdrom
    3. Access the cdrom content.
    4. Eject the cdrom (cd /;eject cdrom).
    5. Enable volfs service (svcadm enable -v volfs).

  • ETC Directory missing from the KM Content directory in EP

    Dear experts
The etc directory is missing from the KM Content Directory in Enterprise Portal. It's appearing for some of the application servers and missing from some. Please find the settings in the file system repository
Prefix (must start with /): /etc
    Active: Checked
    Lookupmode: caseless
    root directory:
    issapepp\sapmnt\EPP\SYS\global\config\cm\etc
    Looking for a quick response..
    Regards,

    Hi Laura,
I did check that option and it's unchecked.1
Also, the path root directory path is *
issapepp\sapmnt\EPP\SYS\global\config\cm\etc* which is common among all the application servers setup for the portal. It's only two of the application servers for which we are not able to view the \etc directory. For the other app servers we are able to see the \etc directory. Please note that I am accessing the individual application servers inorder to check this.

Meanwhile I changed the GroupOfNames to GroupOfUniqueNames in the LDAP structure and solved the problem. I had to add this line: <physicalAttribute name="null"/></b> in the User mappings.
    <nameSpace name="com.sap.security.core.usermanagement.relation">

  • Host Directory missing from "update"

In the CC2014.2 version of the program there is no place in the "Upload to FTP" box to enter your host directory.
Where is it? How am I supposed to put the site in the proper place within my hosting site, which contains multiple sites?

The first dialog is now for login and selecting the FTP Mode and FTP Method. After the first upload, assuming you choose to check "Save Credentials," only the second dialog will be displayed.
Once you're logged in, the second dialog displays requesting Site URL, the folder location on the server to upload to (auto populated in most cases), and whether to upload only modified files or all files. If you want to change the target host, you can use the "switch account" link to go back to the first dialog.

  • ERROR ctrun directory missing

    Hello all,
When installing Netweaver 04s (7.0) EP (no ABAP stack), we got the following error:
ERROR: can't change to central Executable-Dir /usr/sap/TS2/SYS/exe/ctrun (No such file or directory)
Saw an old thread with the following titile:
*dp lib version mismatch-After kernel upgrade *
    *Posted: Oct 20, 2008 12:47 PM *
but it was reported with an upgrade.
Does such errors happen during installations too? If so, can the approach in the thread be used to solve the problem?
    TIA

Hi and thanks for the info...
I have done several installations and have never come across an error like this one.
The only difference in this case is that I specified to install the J2EE stack only and not the ABAP stack. Would this be the problem?
    I saw a /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run directory but not a
    /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/ctrun
    directory
If so, then is there something one can do to specify the installation of the ABAP stack?
    TIA

  • Home Directory Missing

Currently running a 2009 White Macbook, recently upgraded to 10.9 (Mavericks).
So I didn't like my home directory name, it was something stupid I picked when I first got the computer years back.
So I went into the Directory Utility as a root user and changed the name under NFSHome Directory. Just changed it to a new one. Changed everything there (like the dsAttrType things) to the new name too. I had tried to make a new user with the new name like the Apple tutorial suggests but it wouldn't let me. So I figured I would log out of my account, restart the comp and see if that would change anything. Starting up made me set-up my Macbook again like when Mavericks was first installed, then it let me login to my regular account.
All my files are still here on the computer, but the home directory is just gone. I can find all the files by searching their name in Spotlight but there's no home directory listed so they're all just floating around I guess. I went back in and changed my home directory to the old one but that didn't do anything.
And yes, I know.. Shouldn't mess with things I'm not too keen on, but too late for that lecture.
How can I make a new home directory or restore my old one?
I've never backed-up my computer in the 4 years I've owned it, so that's not an option. (don't lecture me here, either.)
Really don't want to lose my files.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Sorry lectures are not optional.
Step 1 what do you want your username to be?
I'm picking bobby for an example.
Do you already have a separate admin account?
The first step is to make a new admin account with a suitable password.
Login to that new admin account.
Hopefully your old home folder is still inside /Users, if not find it & put it back!
You may need to move it via Terminal & sudo (the paths will need to be correct!)
    sudo mv /Users/yourOldHomeFolder /Users/bobby
Once that is in place add a new user account in system preferences (make it a 'standard' non-admin account) & call the user 'bobby'. You don't deserve an admin account after this :^) Make sure you give it the correct 'shortname' it must match the home folder.
You will see a prompt that asks about using the existing folder, agree & wait for it to fix all the permissions (you now have a new user ID).
See if you can login & see your files. You ned to check everything is OK hopefully most things will be, but some items may have used the username or the full file path, so you will just have to deal with that.

  • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2010\Deployment\ directory missing.

    Hi Guys,
We were trying to “Install the Mobility Service and autodiscover Service” on lync 2010 frontend server, for which we have downloaded the “McxStandAlone.msi” and placed in
    “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Lync Server\Deployment\cache\4.0.7577.0\setup” location.
As per the document, to execute this we have to run the bootstrapper.exe from the lync powershell at the following location
    “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Lync Server 2010\Deployment\Bootstrapper.exe”
But “Deployment folder and bootstrapper exe” are not present in mentioned location.
So is there any workaround for this ?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ankit

Did you happen to install Lync on another drive? Maybe D:?
Also try to run the Lync Deployment Tool and click "Install or Update Lync Server System" and rerun "Setup or Remove Lync Server Components". This should do the same thing as running the bootstrapper.

  • [SOLVED] Package installed - Directory missing

    Hi guys,
while I've been a passive reader for a long time, this is my first post.
I used the search function, so if my question was answered before, please forgive me.
Some Time ago, I installed the apache package and later uninstalled it again.
I deleted /srv/* afterwards, since it was just sitting there and wasn't really needed.
Now, when I try to reinstall apache, /srv/http for example is not being created during the install or afterwards.
    It's simply not there.
I can't imagine this to be a serious problem, but I'd really appreciate it, if you could point me in the right direction.
