Directory View in a Multitenant Cluster

I have a cluster of CCM4.1 to support multiple customers (multi-tenant). I created several users in CCM (DC Directory) for each customer, but when the user of a customer access the Corporate Directory, he see users from your company and others companies.
Is posible to fix this issue?

One solution is to not use the built-in DC directory and use an external LDAP directory. Then modify how the phones access which directories.

Maintaince view creation for a cluster table

Hi friends,
I have created a maintaince view for a cluster table bseg and i have activated it its working fine..
now my problem is i can create maintaince view for mutiple tables if other tables are linked with primary table using foriegn key relationship..
Now can any one tell me is it possible to create maintance view for cluster table with multiple tables as i need a linked table with bseg which iam not able to get... ie : when i click on the relationship tab iam not getting the linked tables for bseg...
now can i create a maintaince view with 2 linked cluster tables..
if so can any one tell me how to create it.
As sap says we can create projection view for cluster and pooled table and we cannot create database view for cluster and pooled tables , but it does not mentioned like that for maintaince view....
I assume we can do it.... as iam trying to create a maintaince view with single cluster table then it shoudl allow me to create for multiple linked cluster tables.... and is it mandatory to maintain TMG for this maintaince view....?

yes.. ur right inserting values into a cluster table other than standard sap tarnactions is dangerious....
But sap didnot mentioned any where that we cannot maintain data for cluster tables using maintaince view... which it said for database view..that pooled and cluster table cannot be used for database view..

Nautilus directory view settings

Nautilus forget directory view settings. I set up settings from the menu. Sometimes it change the directory view, sometimes it does not show hidden (what it should do). It occurs for different directories.

If you hold down the Command key (the one with the cloverleaf looking thingy) and click on an item a new window will open with whatever settings the item had last time it was used. If you hold down the Option key and click on an item, its window opens, with whatever settings it had, and the original Finder window closes. Otherwise just clicking an item in the Sidebar opens the item in whatever format the current window has.

No XMP ID written when ingesting through file directory view.

I found that media ingested using file directory view do not get XMP ID written to them at any point of my workflow even if the "Write XMP ID to Files on Import" is checked on Prelude, Media Encoder and Premiere Pro. Those are mostly files from GoPro, Canon DSLR and Sound Devices PIX recorders.
Media ingested through specific view mode like AVCHD and XDCAM EX do get a proper XMP ID when ingested. I'm transcoding on ingest so it is not a write permission issue.
I'm using Adobe CS6 (up to date) on OSX 10.8.3
Does anyone else have the same issue ?

Ok my post wasn't maybe that clear, I was talking about the unique identifier that is supposedly written in the Basic > Identifier metadata field when you import files in Prelude, Media Encoder or Premiere Pro with this option enabled :
For clips imported through specific view mode, it works just fine and they get a long random string of characters generated and written on the Identifier field. For files imported through the basic file directory view, it does not seems to work and the Basic > Identifier field ends up empty. Amongst other things, having this XMP ID avoid cache file conflict for files that do have the same file name. And as we work on multiple project at the same time on a networked storage, we do end up sometimes with different files having the same name used concurrently. No problem when they have the XMP ID, but when they do not cache related stuff tends to be acting weird (like rebuilding and piling up new .pek peak files over and over every time the project is opened, we can end up with thousands of them).
The fast and easy way to avoid this is renaming everything we're going to import through file directory view but I'd prefer being able to benefit from the automated XMP ID generation.
Everything else metada related works about fine for me.

Different Directory views for users

How can I achieve different directory views on user's phones for different types of users using DCD?
This is for a Centrex type of service.

I find it hard to believe that there is not an easier way.
Why can't there be a directory-profile setting or a setting in the device profile to group users?

The best way would be to use IP Phone service & create a custome directory for each tenant, You would also want to disable the current directory URL.

How can I reset the default directory view to "Details" sorted a-z when I "Save As" or have to choose files to upload?

It's a recent problem. My default view now keeps coming up as "List", sorted z-a. And it returns to that even when I simply go up a directory level in the same transaction!
I've deleted my Firefox prefs files as in the instructions for settings problems, but that didn't fix it.
I run XP-sp3. In case Windows was overriding the browser, I reset my Windows Explorer Folder Options, to View All Folders as Details, a-z, then restarted Firefox, but apparently that's not the issue either.
It's a small problem, but I use that feature a lot, so it's really time-consuming - and frustrating. Can someone help me fix this? Thanks!

I'm not sure how, but the problem seems to be OK now. It reverted to normal after I deleted my accounts at two web sites I'd joined last week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks.

We're working with ds 5.1 and set up an ACI:

This allows access to only one ou in our tree. When the user in this group logs into the console they can search for other objects and view only a limited amount of attibutes through Users and Groups. We want this group to view the dn of every object so they know where they reside in our Directory Tree. Does anyone know how we can do this?
We tried to add this group to "Set Access Permissions" on the directory itself under Server Group and this gave the group full rights to the whole tree.

Just two comments:
- the placement of the ACI is important (i.e. the entry holding this ACI). If you place the above ACI into ou=HongKong,ou=vpnaccess,dc=test,dc=com, then you don't even need to use the target keyword
- you probably don't need "all" rights to allow users to search that tree

Integration Directory view by scenarios PI 7.1

Hi all.
In Integration Directory PI 7.1 in navigation area i have only 2 page: Objects and Change List.
In old system 7.0 i have 3 page: Scenarios, Objects and Change List.
How show in 7.1 page Scenarios there object grouping by scenarios.

In addition to the FOlder option you also have the Configuration Scenario option present in PI7.1......there has been no deletion in the type of objects created....
Right-click---> New ---> Administration ---> Configuration Scenario.....

More as 10 Files in one Collaboration Directory, view structure

Hallo Together,
they are ca. 40 files in one Directory in the Documents and Links Section of the Collaboration Room.
After 10 files the Portal open a new row. Now we has 4 rows with 10 Files.
The last two rows are only visible when the user use the scrollbars. A lot of people don't see the scrollbars and by this, they don't see the Files. Is it possible, that the portal makes the next row under the last row, not on the right side?

I did what you said:
1. Exported an active sequence to FCP XML
2. Parsed it in order to get the information on the segments
3. I set the in/out points of the sequence in a loop (let's assume I have 2 segments)
4. Send the adjusted sequence to the render
But there is an issue - all files are got rendered with the timing of the last segment.
The problem is that the segments are sent to MediaEncoder only after the script finishes, which means if I run a loop all my adjustments are overridden by the last setting.
How to overcome the problem?

Directory view to choose a folder

I'm in the Gui design of a product to synchronise two folders where i need to provide the user with the selection of a foldername.but i can't use JFileChooser as i need to select folders not individual files.
It would be nice if i can make the filesystem to appear in a tree structure i.e.,the Directory structure.Till now i have reached a stage where i can display only the user's files and folders in a tree format by giving input as C:\\Windows\\Desktop not MyComputer,Network Neighbourhood etc.,
i'm in a desperate need to solve this.Please help me out of this.

          I need give access of a particular directory to only some users.
          i.e when ever a particular directory is accessed by the users , he need
          to be authenticated.
          How can I do this in weblogic 4.5.
          Do I need to write a customised FileServlet Or any config param changes
          will suffice?

Knowledge Directory View format

Hello,
We are using out of the box Community Links Portlet that point to some KD folders.
However, they display subfolders on top, then any files in the root.
A client was the document files to show first, then the SubFolders. I do not see an option to change this.
We do not use Adaptive Layouts.
Any suggestions?

I think the new navigation you are seeing is coming from the Base Page Layout file. I don't remember having seen two sets of nav when I did the switch over, but the layout files are html with a few tags thrown in there so it shouldn't be difficult to get in them and remove the second navigation.
The layouts give a lot more flexibility in how to arrange your pages, especially the KD, search results, and My Account areas.

Directory view of sub-pages

I have a request from my client that I am not to sure how to do. They want to be able
to pull up a zip file with layers of folders and sub-folders. They want one of two possibilities:
1) Create one region that would contain the main folder. They click on it and it opens up
a series of sub-folders beaneath it. If the sub-folder has documents or other just items then they
should display in a second region. Essentially make it look it Explorer.
2) Almost exactly the same as 1 except everything is displayed in one region.
I tried a sub-display item but it works in more of a drill down approach (opening
up new pages when I click on the sub-page).
Is there any way I can get the explorer type of look and feel.

The code is for a pge navigator, but you can write the query against wwv_corners
and get the same result.
I think you might be talking about something different. If i were to zip up
a folder full of several subfolders, add the zip file to my root page of the portal
and then unzip it, the portal automatically takes the sub-folders within
the zip and translates them into sub-pages. I dont have a problem with that.
It is almost what I want. The problem I have is that to get to anything you
have to drill down through the sub-pages. I would like it all contained
within a region. Ie. If I have a folder named HR and clicked on it within
the region it would expand WITHIN the region (rather than going to a separate
page) to display the sub-folders (similar to the way Windows Explorer) works. And if I
clicked on a sub-folder it would expand to show its contents within the region.
This way I can see the folder, sub-folder and contents all at the same time in the
same region.
The Object Map link sort of does this but when I click on the link it still goes
to a separate page to display the tree hierarchy and it doesn't display the contents
of a sub-page (plus it displays every page group created by every developer and we
would like to limit it to just show the page groups and pages that a
user has access to).
I tried an I-Frame and it sort of worked. It kept everything in the same region on the
root page but when I clicked on a folder it drilled down to the next sub-page
rather than expand it like Windows Explorer does. So it's only advantage is that
it doesnt take you out of the region, it drills down to the sub pages within the
region.
Maybe I have to develop something myself, I dont Know. I was just hoping there
was a quick and dirty way to get it to work.

Directory size of ...../ j2ee/cluster/server ?

Can anyone pls tell me if their "server" directory size under ..../j2ee/cluster/server increased drastically after the installation of the ME 2.1 Server component on J2EE Engine on WAS 6.20.
A file called "dev_Icom" in the directory .../j2ee/cluster/server is taking away 11Gb.
Please confirm.

If you do not enter the cluster ID,the EOIO channel is activated automatically on a different working node.
This configuration ensures node failover by the adapter in a clustered environment.
