Disable accessibility on reader

How i disable the accessibility options on adobe reader 9.4.2. I was trying "jaws text reader" and accessibility on a static pdf form and switch ON the accessibility options thru the assistant, and now i can't disable it to previous state (so i can't use preview tab on LC designer anymore )

Dsc: disable access to operative system to certain users

If you want to disable special windows keyboard keys while your VI is running, you can do that from Toos>>DSC Module>>Options. Click on Advanced tab, Security Preferences, Advances and enter the security level.
Now you need to set those users that you want to block a security level lower then the number you entered at the tools option.

Yes, the SAML apps. The WS-FED apps don't show up. You can filter out the total IDP initiated page within the lb if you are not using it anyway. That won't break other things since it only functions as a not very well designed landing/start page.
Would be much nicer if they had a landing page such as all those Cloud SSO providers (centrify, ping, okta etc.) to which you actually have to authenticate before all RP's are shown.

How to disable access to internet completely in the jnlp file

Hi All,
Can someone help me in figuring out how to disable access to internet completely in the jnlp file.
To be specific with the scenario if the client does not have the JRE installed, i would like to have it downloaded from the server where application runs instead of going to java.sun.com website which needs internet access.
How can we configure it in such a way that it does not go to internet at all.
Here is the snapshot of my jnlp file

Is there are way to access my Reading List that created on iPhone/iPad, on my PC through iCloud? I don't use Safari.

Does MAC make a common access card reader?

No but any third party card reader will work fine. All new iMac's come with a SD card reader alreader however if you use CF or Sony cards as mentioned any reader should be fine.

Unable to access only Read Write addresses of AB Micrologix 1400 PLC using NI DSC and NI OPC server

I have been using NI DSC and OPC servers (NI and Kepware) to communicate with Allen Bradley Micrologix 1400 PLC (1766-L32BXB). Recently at one site I found that I could access Process values from the PLC correctly (Read Only tags) but could not access the Read Write Tags at all. The latter are addresses to which it should be possible to write Set (i.e., references) values from MMI or PC software. I am able to do so from the MMI not from the PC software. I get communication error message on the MMI and PC, mentioning the PLC address being accessed (e.g. N7:0).
Support from the supplier is not available. Hence can anyone let me know if ladder logic could have been written to prevent PC software based access of Read/write addresses (N7:0 to 9 in this case), while permitting access to Read only addresses? Is the problem at the PLC end or OPC server end? Is there a way to get around this?

The OPC Server cannot force Outputs so if th registers in question are the outputs of ladder rungs you cannot write to them via the server. The controller will accept the write from the server but will not execute the write. In some cases the server event log will post an error if it is the PLC. Do you get errors when you try to write and if so what are the posted error messages.

I have converted a LabWindows CVI project to Visual Studio 2005. When I start the application i debug mode I get the message "Unhandled exception at 0x685662ba in EE352-500V.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000."
It comes when the application calls: InitCVIRTE in this context:

I think that exception might be coming from the data execution prevention service that is part of Win XP SP2. The OS thinks that you're somehow trying to execute in the data segment and kills the process. It's intended to catch worms and viruses.
You can turn this service off for non-Microsoft programs using the control panel.
Many pointer handling errors now report as this exception instead of as a memory violation exception. That looks like a null pointer derefence to me.

How do I disable someone from reading my emails?

I have thunderbird installed on a PC which is used by multiple users. I have set up the master password for thunderbird, yet one can read the emails from my account without inputting the master password.

In a Windows OS .... Control Panel > User Accounts
Create a User Account for yourself and set it up as Administrator. Create a password for yourself.
Create other User Accounts for other people or create a 'Guest' user account which anyone can use, without any password.
Make sure to 'create a password reset disk'. This option is available in Control Panel > User Accounts. This is not obligatory, but I would advise you to create one just in case you forget the password.
Your Thunderbird Profile folder containing all your emails etc will be stored within the User Account. Only access to the User Account will allow access to reading the emails.

Disable Direct Path Read 11g

According to Metalink note 793845.1 , Direct Path Read there have been changes in 11g in the heuristics to choose between direct path reads or reads through buffer cache for serial table scans.
I want to disable direct path read for the serial full table scan . Is there any way to do this at database level ?

Under normal circumstances you would not set an event number to a level. Setting event number disables or enables Oracle behavior, and if you set the wrong event you could slow down the server, disable important features, cause the server to eventually run out of disk space, potentially cause wrong query results or otherwise harm the integrity of the data in the database.

I would question why you are interested in disabling direct path reads. I did disable direct path reads in one of my recent blog articles, but that was a special case where I needed to have a table completely cached in the buffer cache for a specific performance test.
