Disable animation for sap.ux3.Shell when pane opens/closes

is there a way to disable the slide-in animation (and slide-out) when showing the right side pane of sap.ux3.Shell?

Hi Tobias,
Seeing the Shell's private _openPane method (sap.ui.ux3.Shell.prototype._openPane), it is quite easy to tell that there is no way to turn off the animation.
One possible solution if you absolutely need to turn off this animation, is to copy the standard implementation (Shell-dbg.js and ShellRenderer-dbg.js) into your project and make a new 'custom Shell control' out of it; and modify just the _openPane method so that there is no animation. Ofcourse, this also means that in spite of future upgrades to your UI5 version, you will still be stuck with your current version of the Shell control.

What phone?
You would need to disable data on the phone itself. You wouldn't do it online on your account.
Note also that text messages do not count toward your data allowance.

Don't save. Close the documents.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages 5 will damage/alter older files, something Apple didn't tell its users.
Pages 5 is a severely stripped down version with over 90+ features removed.
We recommend trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting any files you may have saved back to Pages '09.
Also rate/review Pages 5 in the App store.

We had the same issue after applying the SP2 & August CU. we open the case with MSFT and get the same resolution as you mentioned.
I blog about this issue and having the office reference.
Later MSFT release the Hotfix for this on December 10, 2013 which i am 100% positive should be part of future CUs.
So if you apply the April CU then you will be fine.

One possible reason is have you synced to your computer's iTunes recently ? If so then it might have replaced the books that were on your iPad with those that are on your computer's iTunes library.
You should be able to re-download them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app, or via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes and then sync them back to the iPad : re-downloading. If you re-download them directly on your iPad then you may want to copy them to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases, so that you have a backup copy of them and to see if it stops them disappearing from the iPad again when you sync (assuming that was the reason why they disappeard).

Close the App Store app, double click the home button, press and hold the App Store icon until it wiggles, press the X, open the App Store app again and you should see your updates.

Yes, to clarify - we get a message that says "(he) is already a member of the Family"... but on my iPhone, it still shows that he is not, ie. that the invitation is still pending acceptance.
A bit more detail - when I enter his name (or even .me email address) at the 'Add Family Member' screen on the iPhone, the system will not accept it. ie. I enter his credentials, hit 'Next', and it does not progress to the next screen...
Bizzare. And he's the one who really needs to be enrolled, not so much my wife - who is successfully signed up!

Sound that plays when I open/close applications

Somehow when I open/close an application and do other similar things, my Mac makes a beeping sound. I checked System Preferences and do not see an option for this under sounds. I am also not sure how this was ever set. How/where can I turn this off?
