Disable camera standby mode in nokia n95

Hello
I cannot record a video over 1 hour with my n95, or so it would seem. So I would like to use my phone as a "video source" for my TV-card, so I could just plug my phone into my TV-card and use that card to do the actual recording. But every time I do this, my phone informs me about standby mode being initialized after one minute of "projecting the video to my TV-card". How can I disable this message?

Well, the time-out has a max limit of 20 seconds and I've already set that to the max limit, but the issue still exists.
I understand that the only way is to press a button now to see the screensaver (time), but this is not what I want I had a very basic earlier model and it didn't have that issue.
I am sure there should be a way, even hidden or via some changes in the firmware that can allow me to disable the automatic power-save. I can't believe this is a hopeless case, this is a very basic request.
Pleaseeeeeeeeeee help me, I might stop using that phone with all its other nice features just because of this issue.

Nokia N95-Why camera automatically close up in vid...

When I open the rear camera of my N95 for taking photos, I can see a lot of area covered in the photo but when I turn the mode to video, I observe that the camera gets a bit zoomed in. I mean the camera in video mode seems to be zoomed in one step as compared to the camera in photo mode. In video mode the object gets a bit bigger and so they turn blur. Recently I bought two Nokia 5230 sets for my brothers, and there is no difference in the area covered in photo mode or video mode and I see their videos are lot more better than my N95. I want to ask is it possible that the zoom-in (automatic) be disabled in video mode. I want the camera should show same area in view finder, and in actual, in video and photo modes. Why is it so that objects automatically zooms in a bit when we switch over to video mode? Is it because of firmware. My firmware is not the very recent one, one step previous to this latest one. The flash turns on when you hold down the lock key (the slider on the side) for 2 seconds. Similarly turns off as well. In all probability, placing the phone in your pocket is what is causing the slide to be pressed for 2 seconds and the flash turns on.

The carbon or flex might have been damaged. As adamf mentioned, better take your phone to a Nokia Service Center.

Nokia 6680 Standby Mode Problem

I cant change my Nokia 6680 Standby Mode. Its disapeard. When I go to Setting and then Standby Mode, I cant see Activate Standby Mode there anymore. Ive formated phone memroy but still I cant...Anybody has any information about this problem?

Prior to it being unlocked it charged up no problem.
If you have a new phone you need to keep it on charge for 16 hours. Once the battery is fully charged the charge indicator stops moving which would tell you that the battery is full.

N95 8gb - Appointment view in standby mode

Please can someone help me. I use the calander option heavily on my n95 8gb phone. I have read somewhere that in standby mode it is supposed to display the next 3 appointments over the next 48 hours. Mine only shows one. Where do I set this up and how can I configure it? On a similar subject (I'm sure it is in the same place) how can I disply my to-do's rather than just the number of them that I have to do! It's quite depressing to see the number of things I need to do rather than a prompt to do them!

Nokia n95 8gb moisture in camera lens - HELP

Hi, I have Nokia n95 8gb and while have been in a shower I have left it in the bathroom and now my lenses are moistured/water from inside of camera/lens. How can I fix/dry this?
PLEASEEE HELP ME.

Many people take the phone into the bathroom whilst taking a bath or shower not realising this actually harms your phone!
Steam has entered the phone and turned to condensation and this is never good for an electrical product.
This will probably cause you many problems sooner or later, but for now remove the battery as having the battery in the phone whilst it is still wet is damaging your phone with current from the battery surging through all those components joint together inside with water.
Then put the phone in a warm dry place, where you have your boiler for your home as an example, and leave it there for a few days.
This should dry out any liquid there is inside the phone but only time will tell of the amount of damage has occured.

Nokia N95 - unable to activate mass storage mode

I'm having trouble with my Nokia N95 8Gb and mass storage mode.
WWhen I can eventually activate this mode after shutting down apps (just intellisync and location tracker), it usually lasts no more than 90s before the phone reboots itself.
This makes copying music rather difficult since
- The music apps on pcsuite/nseries pcsuite are useless and crash on any attempt to sync (Vista x64)
- Nokia music doesn't see the phone
- file copy in pcsync is slow
- USB mass storage mode doesn't work (ie for using iTunes sync)
I'm on the v20 software.
Any ideas?
I love my N95 8Gb -- but this is why people but iPhones/iPods... it's just too hard.

Point taken, but more often than not it's the O/S itself that is causing a problem, hence the need to perform the reset. And I don't think there is a core dump anywhere that you can examine. Even if there was, would it mean anything to you? You don't know what system variables are where (there won't be any debug symbols) and I'd challenge you to reverse engineer the system stack (if you knew where it was) in order to find the point in execution where the failure occurs.
This is, of course, assuming it is a software problem. If the problem persists after a reset and, optionally, a firmware reinstall, then it could well be a hardware problem that a Nokia Care Point should take a look at.

Does anyone have any ideas how i am able to disable the A2DP function on a Nokia N95?
I am having problems pairing my parrot handsfree kit with my ipod and my phone at the same time or is there some other way to stop my phone pulling the 2 audio channels on my handsfree kit??

Turn it off in menu->settings->device->display/screen-> wait/standby mode. Sorry for the bad translation. I don't bother to turn on english as it needs a reboot

Remove N-Gage that came with Nokia N95 firmware ve...

I've noticed that when you uninstall the N-Gage aplication,
it leaves in the Nokia N95's read only memory (ROM,)
the aplication ngiinstaller.exe, this causes a death link in the
aplication menu called Games.
How do I remove this link, it's no longer needed, they sould'nt even putted the N-Gage standard in the firmware, the link does'nt delete by hand, only says that it is not removable.

Please Help!! Nokia N95 Camera Problems!!!

Hi,
I recently upgraded my Nokia N95 Firmware to the newest one available, and since then, my camara has stop working. When i open the shutter and then then software loads the screen is just black, i cant click options or anything cause it dosent work. But if i take a picture by clicking the camara button it takes a picture .
I have tryed everything by resetting, re-installing the firmware.
Is there a way i can downgrade my firmware??

It isn't possible for you to roll back the firmware update. You could try asking your local Nokia Care Point if they will do it for you.
Have you tried the 3 finger hard reset?
