Disable Default WebVPN Page

I am setting up a few different WebVPN profiles I am wondering if there is any way to disable the default page. I am going to give all users specific URLs (https://mywebvpn.mydomain.com/myprofile) but I would like to completely disable the page if they try browsing to https://mywebvpn.mydomain.com. I havent been able to find a setting yet that will disable the main page but still allow access to all group-urls. I have tried adding in the https://mywebvpn.mydomain.com to the default WebVPN group and checking disable, but it still loads the webpage when going to that URL.

To specify a URL for the web page that displays when this WebVPN user logs in, enter the homepage command in username webvpn configuration mode. To remove a configured home page, including a null value created by issuing the homepage none command, enter the no form of this command. The no option allows inheritance of a value from the group policy. To prevent inheriting a home page, enter the homepage none command.
The none keyword indicates that there is no WebVPN home page. It sets a null value, thereby disallowing a home page and prevents inheriting a home page.
The url-string variable following the keyword value provides a URL for the home page. The string must begin with either http:// or https://.
There is no default home page.

  • "Set as default master page" link is disabled

I have an enterprise wiki site collection , but when I try to change the default page layout for my site collection,by opening the site collection using SharePoint designer>>then going to page layout section. The problem is that the “Set as default
master page” link will always be disabled.. although I am login using the site collection administrator
Can anyone advice on this please?
    Thanks

Enterprise WIKI's are essentially Publishing sites.  You set the default page layout for new pages in a publishing site using the Page Layout and Template Settings link on the Site Settings page.  On the Page Layout and Template Settings page
you can choose the default page layout to use when creating new pages.  The default page layout is not the same thing as the default masterpage.

  • Firefox only loads book-marked websites. no websites load from firefox default home page searh or address bar inputs. HELP

I Run Windows 7 Ultimate. I use Avast anti Virus. Google Chrome works fine. Firefox started not responding to searches queries from its default home page. When I input an address in the address line i also had no reaction. When i clicked om a bookmark it does load that particular website. I have uninstalled firefox completely. Reloaded the latest version downloaded from Mozilla. Still have the same problem. I did a Reset Firefox. No luck. I changed the proxy settings to "no proxy". I have done the "disable IPv6" in about:config. I have created the "network.dns.disablePrefetch" boolean. Still no luck. Please help.

After installing Firefox 6 MANY web site will not finish loading. I disabled all add-ons and still have the problem. If I disable javascript, the pages will load. When the page is trying to load, if I hit "stop loading this page" and then hit "reload this page", the page will load; but sometimes I have to do this 2-3 times for the page to finish loading. No problem with these pages using IE8.

I see that you ave changed some network.http prefs.<br />
Doing that can cause all kinds of problems because not all servers like such changes, so you can try to reset those prefs on the about:config page.<br />

  • Default Internet Page

    Hello Everyone
I am trying to create a GPO for the default internet Page for our users. We are using server 2008 R2 standard and all the client machines are Win 7. We have 20 sites and each of the site wants their own homepage. So to make it work, I created a GPO  under
GPO-->User Config --> Preferences --> Control Panel Settings ---> Internet Settings --- > Created new there and put the default homepage and under the common tab, I targeted the Security group on which I want to apply on.
After doing all this GPO didn't work.
    To make it work, I Edit the GPO: GPO name-->User Configuration-->Policies-->Administrative Templates-->Windows Components-->Internet Explorer-->Disable
changing home page settings-->Enable-->Home Page: input your specified home page
After doing this I was able to set up the homepage, but I don't want to create like 20 different homepage GPO for each of our site. I am looking in which I can do Item level targeting.
In Server 2008 R2 Standard, even it doesn't give the option for higher internet explorer more then 8.
    Please advice
    Thanks to all

  • How do you set a default home page for tabs

Default home page setting is easy enough but when clicking the "+" to open a tab I want to set the page that it defauts to. You would think that it would do the default home page but it doesn't and I cant find where to set it.

Troubleshooting tips on the '''browser.newtab.url''' preference:
''If Firefox won't let you edit this setting:'' you may have something called SearchProtect on your system. This needs to be removed from the Windows Control Panel.
''If Firefox lets you save your change but ignores it:'' one of your extensions may be overriding it. You can review, disable, and/or remove extensions on the add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right and disable (or remove) anything unknown.
''If the change works during your session, but at the next startup is back to the unwanted page:'' you might have a user.js file in your personal Firefox settings folder (your Firefox profile folder). This article describes how to track down and remove the file: [[How to fix preferences that won't save]]. Also beware of features in utility programs like Advanced SystemCare that roll back settings changes between sessions.
If bad add-ons do not have a Remove button or keep coming back, here's my suggested procedure for tracking down and cleaning them up. I know this seems long, but it's not that bad.
    (1) Open the Windows '''Control Panel''', Uninstall a Program. After the list loads, click the "Installed on" column heading to group the infections, I mean, additions, by date. This can help in smoking out undisclosed bundle items that snuck in with some software you agreed to install. Take out as much trash as possible here.
    (2) Open Firefox's '''Add-ons page''' using either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
    * in the Windows "Run" dialog, type or paste <br><code>firefox.exe "about:addons"</code>
In the left column, click '''Plugins'''. Set nonessential and unrecognized plugins to "Never Activate".
In the left column, click '''Extensions'''. Then, if in doubt, disable (or Remove, if possible) unrecognized and unwanted extensions.
Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
    Any improvement?
    (3) You can search for remaining issues with the '''scanning/cleaning tools''' listed in our support article: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]]. These on-demand scanners are free and take considerable time to run. If they finish quickly and especially if they require payment, you may have a serious infection. I suggest the specialized forums listed in the article in that case.
    Success?

  • How to show "ALL" Values by default in Page Drop-Down Lists in Pivot Tables

    Hi Everyone,
Iam stuck with 1 problem please can any 1 help me if u know the solution.
    Here is my problem:
How to show "ALL" Values by default in Page Drop-Down Lists in Oracle BI Pivot Tables?
For example, if you place Region in the pages area, a Region drop-down list allows the user to select a particular region, and see the data for only that region, rather than seeing all the Regions,But by default its not showing "ALL" option in the drop down list ,rather than doing that its showing result for only 1 region by default.
And an other problem with this pages area is, if we palce the multiple attributes in the Pages area in the pivot table, the (Fields)result is showing in vertically, the attributes 1 by 1(Every attribute in a new line) ,rather than showing like that, is there any way to show the results in horizantally?(We want to have it as a seperate drop drown list for every field horizantally not as a concatenated list).

Thanks Nikhil. But I am fetching the values from the LOVCache.java.
I am using <af:selectManyChoice>. Is there any way I can use LOVCache.java value for selecting default values instead of hard coding?
I mean to say can I write
    unselectedLabel="#{LOVCache.entityTypeSelectionList.anyValue}"
where LOVCache.entityTypeSelectionList is used to populate the drop down box.

  • How do I set the default welcome page for PUBLIC user

    gurus,
    i'm using -
    Oracle 9i Database
    Oracle 9ias Portal Release 2
QUESTION => how do I set the default welcome page for the PUBLIC user.
i did the following to achieve this -
    1. logged into portal
    2. clicked on builder
    3. clicked on administer tab
    4. selected PUBLIC user in the Portal User Profile portlet
    5. went to the preferences tab
    6. in the default home page selected a custom page group
    7. logged out of portal
    8. open a new browsere session
    9. type the portal URL and i get the login page ....??
i'm unable to understand this behavior ... shouldn't i be getting the page group that i set for the PUBLIC user in step 6 above ....
the second QUESTION is => when the user logs out he/she should see the PUBLIC page set in step 6 above ... but, instead the user sees a page that is as follows -
Partner Application Name Logout Status [Logout Status]
    Oracle Portal (portal) logout status
    The SSO Server (orasso) checkmark
    buzz.resva.trw.com:7778 checkmark
    infrastructure.happy.resva.trw.com checkmark
    portal1.buzz.resva.trw.com checkmark
    portal2.sylvester.resva.trw.com checkmark
    sylvester.resva.trw.com:7778 checkmark
so, how can i set the default page for the PUBLIC user and also a page when he user logs out.
    ideas anyone ....?
    thanx a bunch.
    hero

    Hi,
The sequence of operation you are doing to set the home page for public users is correct. You are getting the login screen as the "custom page group" selected as "home page" has not been granted to public.
Also, while logging-out, it is normal behaviour to get the screen where it shows the list of partner applications from where user has been logged-out. When you click on "Return" button, you will get to the "home page" set above.
    Hope it clarifies the things.
    Regards,
    Ved

  • How to change the default code page in SAP?

My colleague tries to download a report in Excel but she is having some problems with the output as each of the lines are all included in one cell. When I download the same report, my output is fine and the columns in the lines are properly aligned in various columns in Excel.
I noticed that her code page is 4110 and mine is 1160.
    4110     Unicode UTF-8
    1160     Microsoft 1252, Superset of ISO 8859-1
As a workaround, I just asked her to modify the code page to 1160 everytime she downloads a report. I want to know how this setting is derived.
    My questions are:
    1) Is there a way to set the default code page?
    2) Is this a problem with the SAP version? If she downloads another SAP GUI, will the issue be gone?
    Thanks!
    Joey

1, You can change the codepage in SAPGUI: Select the system => Properties => Others
2, Could be, best is to have the same and most up to date SAPGUI for all

  • How can I set the default home page for all new users in Firefox 4

I'm trying to deploy FF 4.0rc1 in a corporate environment but I can't find a way to set the default home page or any other settings for that matter.
Is there a way to set the default home page for all new users and lock it so that the users can't change home page?
    Best regards
    Jonas

In Firefox 4 the template folder for new profiles (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile\
) doesn't exist. You can create that \defaults\profile\ folder and place a file user.js in it with the prefs that you want to initialize.
    See:
You can also use a mozilla.cfg file to set the default value for prefs.<br />
    See: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locking_preferences
defaultPref(); // set new default value
pref(); // set pref, but allow changes
lockPref(); // lock pref, disallow changes

'This page can be designed with the SAP web repository.' How to design this page with SAP web repository.
Also it is mentioned that COM_PRDCAT_WEB_API(701) can be reused .Where to find this COM_PRDCAT_WEB_API.Can anyone help me out in this ?

    Use Tcode SMW0.
The object  COM_PRDCAT_WEB_API which you mentioned is the package, i think its available only in 701 release.
Goto SMW0 , press F8, you can see the SAP web repository objects.

Hello EireReality. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
Can I set a default home page when people use my router?
No, at least not that I'm aware of. Setting a "default home page" is typical feature of a web browser, not an Internet router.

    Hi All,
I have set "Oslo.Master" as the The default Master Page for the site.   I have a page with a List View web part and an InfoPath Web Part connected.  When the page loads is it displayed correctly.  However, when a record
is selected and the infopath web part is updated, the content on the page shifts (indents) to the right.
Is there something I am missing?   Does anyone know how to correct this?
    Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Dwayne,
I could reproduce this, as a workaround, we can use javascript code as below to hide the element in the following image.
