Disable "Download a Copy" submenu

Hello,
I want to disable the "Download a Copy" option submenu from sharepoint 2010,
but only with "read only" level permission.
Please any help, i will appreciate.

We find AddSendSubMenu(m,ctx) in core.debug.js file only shall we modify the
code.js for any change or can we ignore that file.

As the “Download A Copy” button was available when the users(View Only permission) clicked a PDF file, you can try to hide the “Download A Copy” option based on user permissions.

I want to stop share point users who have editing option for the files in libraries to download a copy to their local PCs.So that users have to login to sharepoint and do edit the files with in sharepoint and not to download a files from there to local
Desktop .Majorly sharepoint has to act as a shieldso that users cannot download files form sharepoint but can do online editing

I have a requirement for disable all kind of downlading process for a query, alv, list ... can anybody guide me if there is any authorization object for not let do this and for lock copy and paste?

You can find out yourself which authorization objects are being checked by means of authorization trace (ST01), search for further information or contact your system or security administrator about it.
I know that all downloads are being recorded in the security audit log (SM20), if it is activated, maybe there are settings to disable downloads altogether.
You could ask in the Netweaver security forum, in case no answers are coming in here, but only after closing this thread (no cross-posting please).

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

Download a copy of Windows7 with an iMac

I want to purchase and download Windows 7 to install in an iMac (OSX Lion) using Fusion 4. I tried a download from Digital River, burned the ISO to a DVD, and tried to instal it but the Fusion installer said it could not find the OS.
1. Can I download Windows using OSX or do I need to use a Windows machine?
2. Is there a something speccial I need to do to burn the ISO image to the disk so it's in a format that Fusion can use?

Hi, I'm trying to download my copy of photoshop and I'm entangled by menu options.
It was once downloaded on an old computer, but I have no access to that computer anymore--long story, the program isn't in use.

If you bought it from Adobe, your download link is still available on the Adobe site. Go to the My Adobe or My Orders link.
If not, did you not see the link Pierre posted above? I realize the forum font is kind of microscopic...

You can install Windows on Boot Camp or a virtual machine > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3321
If you decide to use a virtual machine, install Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox. You can install the Windows version you want.
If you decide to use Boot Camp, you can install a 64-bit Windows 7 or 8. In both cases, you have to use a System Builder or full Windows 7 or 8 version, which you can buy at Amazon or NewEgg. You will need an external disc drive.

I downloaded a copy of Creative Cloud desktop but it says that my Muse is up to date. It was last updated in May but you have a new update today and it will not update. I thought maybe I am not suppose to have the Creative Cloud update because all I have is the individual app Muse and the photography program. So I uninstalled the CC desktop. Then when I open Muse it says I need the CC desktop to help with the update. So I get stopped either way. Now I also had a Pre-Release Muse on my computer and I don't know if that complicated things. Please advise.

All future installs/updates of Muse (and most other Adobe apps) are through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Thus you do need to have it installed.

I was installing Mac X Lion on my iMac when the power went off. A error message says install failed, Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer, The installer encountered an eror that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computer and try installing again. When I restart it keeps going to install Lion and getting the same error message. I tried starting with holding the option key down and selecting Mac Hard disk, but again it keeps going to the installer and the error comes again.

If so, the first thing I would do is to back up your data on the ill mac. I assume both macs have firewire port, get a cable and connect both macs via this cable. Then restart your ill mac by pressing T key after chime, it will become a simple external disk you should see on the desktop of your healthy mac. Back up your data.
Now, with this action accomplished, you may go on. BArney - 15E is optimistic and says how to restart in recovery mode—this may be possible if installation was complete for recovery partition (I doubt this, but I may be wrong).
Otherwise, I would reinstall from the scratch. If after connecting your ill mac via FW, you may see the disk in good order, you should also see the Lion installer within Applications folder. Copy it unto an external disk or flash disk and keep it safe, you will need it again.
