Disable every single web fonts in adobe muse and prevent it from loading open-sans:n3:all.js

I'm using Adobe Muse 2014.2 to build a Chinese site. The audience of the site is mainly people in mainland china, and I'm using a server from Hong Kong. Recently I just tested the site, however, it was loading extremely slow. In the end I found out that the cause of the slow loading was due to a file called "open-sans:n3:all.js" that was loaded from adobe webfonts.
Because a lot of sites are blocked in China, I think that Adobe Web Fonts (or typekit) is also blocked thus can't be loaded properly, causing the entire site to slow down.
Is there a way to disable all the webfonts in Muse and to prevent my site from loading this file?
Or is there a way I can host this file on my own server?
Thanks in advance.

This was a snapshot that my friend in China sent to me. You can see that the open-sans:n3:all.js is taking extremely long to load.
Yet the funny thing is that I did not use any web fonts in my site. However Muse is still adding it in the code for some reason.

  • Using Typekit web fonts in Adobe Muse | Adobe Muse Feature Tour | Adobe TV

    Adobe Muse recently introduced a feature that allows you to incorporate TypeKit web fonts into your website designs. In this video, Product Manager Dani Beaumont shows you how to access over hundreds of font types that look beautiful and can be understood by search engines and screen readers.

    This video sends Flash Player into a wheel-spinning loop that freezes Firefox, won't play beyond the first few seconds (and very choppily at that) in Chrome, and reduces IE9 to a crawl. It isn't possible to view the video as of 10/23/2012.

  • Using free Edge fonts in Adobe Muse

    Hi, my question concerns the use of free Edge Web fonts in Adobe Muse.
    I'm Creative Cloud subsciber and have access to the portfolio plan, but I want to be sure that my customers websites will work in case I'll need to quit my subsciption.
    Therefore I wanted to ask if the fonts currently shown in the Webfonts panel can be filtered to use just free Edge Webfonts, so that the fonts on my customer's websites won't have a problem once I should quit the subscription.
    Thanks!
    Tibor

    The Typekit fonts that you CAN use through Muse are free as part of your Muse subscription, and it shouldn't make any difference if you let your Muse subscription cease...those fonts on the site will still be rendered to viewers.
    So, basically - Muse Tyepkit fonts are free to use and will remain free to view even after your subsciption lapses.

  • Problem using Gotham font in Adobe Muse

    I am working on a web design project using Adobe Muse for my client who uses predominantly Gotham. They own most of the Gotham font family in .otf and they also have the Gotham SSm (Screen Smart Font) for web use. When trying to load the font to Adobe Muse as a self-hosted web font, Muse cannot load it because the following web fonts formats are missing: .woff, .eot and .svg. Muse also requires that the .ttf font is installed as as a system font. My client only has .otf font. Does this mean that we cannot use Gotham in Muse? Or is there a way around this?

    Hi,
    As described in Adobe Muse Help | Typography, Muse can work with .otf fonts as system fonts. .woff/.eot fonts are, however, required for self-hosting.
    Also. if your client has access to Gotham Screen Smart web fonts via a Cloud.Typography subscription, note that the Cloud.Typography terms of service do not allow you to serve web fonts in a self-hosted manner. They are are required to be served using their delivery agent via the CSS key mechanism. Cloud.typography Terms of Service | Hoefler & Co.
    A manual (and less-than-ideal) workflow to integrate with Cloud.Typography web fonts in Muse is outlined at http://cloudtype.businesscatalyst.com/

  • Am  I allowed to use the web fonts included with Muse commercially?

    For example, Lobster and Lobster two. Can I use these for my business's website?

    The Web Fonts that are currently available via the Add Web Fonts dialog in Muse are available for use on any site with no limits on page views or any other limits.
    Note the 400+ Web Fonts currently available via the Add Web Fonts UI in Muse is a small subset of all the fonts available via Typekit. At present Muse doesn't have a built-in mechanism to access and use the additional paid/metered fonts available through Typekit. (We're waiting for some work to be completed on the Typekit side of things before we'll be able to offer these additional fonts within Muse.)
    The use of Typekit and the set of fonts available through Muse is covered by Adobe's general Terms of Use for services <http://www.adobe.com/misc/terms.html>, as linked to at the bottom of the Add Web Fonts dialog in Muse.

  • What is the best way to create the layout for a single page website in Adobe Muse?

    I was wondering the best way to create the layout for a single page website in Adobe Muse. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I know how to create a website but will that help me create a single page website? Below I will leave a demo of what I want. I want it to only have one page but multiple sections. What is the easiest way to create a single page website like the demo below?

  • I want to ctrl-+, ctrl-+, ctrl-+, ctrl-+, ctrol-+ on every single web page.... even your own dumb web page.

    Every page on the internet takes up 70% of my screen.
    I want to use common sense and force every page to take up 100% of my screen.
    I want to perform ctrl-+, ctrl-+, ctrl-+ ctrl-+, ctrl-+ on every single page... how can I do that?
    WHere is the 100% option? This is rediculous - a web browser that insists on using 60% of the screen.
    Even on your own web site - there is 1.5 inches on both sides of the page - how is this useful or logical or reasonable in any way?
    TAKE THE WHOLE SCREEN.

    My control key is wore out... literally. It's held together with glue and tape and honey. Because I have to hit ctrl-+ ctrl-+ ctrl-+ ctrl-+ ctrl-+ on every single web site.
    Because there is no option - 100%, that's the deal. Make the stuff 100%. How hard can that possibly be?

  • Using a web font (Coda), but Muse insists on rasterizing

    I'm using a web font on my site (http://unit304musicvideoproduction.com/), so it should just show the web font. However, Muse insists on rasterizing it. I haven't done anything funky to it, and it even does it when I select Arial as the font, so I don't understand why it's doing this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    When you select the text frame (not the text within), does the font menu show Coda or it is blank? Blank indicates "mixed fonts", which could mean you have a lingering system font somewhere within the text frame. Please repeat this test for all states (default, rollover, mousedown, active). A system font in any state will force other states to be rasterized as well.
    If you've rules out the possibility of system fonts, please send your Muse file to [email protected] Please include a link to this post.
    Thanks,
    Abhishek

  • Custom blog in Adobe Muse and BC can't get body copy css to work

    Hello,
    I've been creating a custom blog through Adobe Muse and in Business Catalyst according to directions I found in a video.
    Seems like everything is working out for the most part with adding custom styles to modulestylesheets.css however, I can not for the life of me get the body text of the
    blog to cooperate. At least according to the video I'm following.
    This is the css I'm adding according to instructions and it's the only part that won't work - won't change. My guess is that something somewhere else is over riding this but I can't find it.
    /* blog body text */
    .post-body
        color: #534741;!important;
        font-family: muli;sans-serif;!important;
        font-size: 12px;!important;
        font-weight: 400;!important;
        padding: 0;!important;
        line-height: 84px;!important;
    As you can see - I even added the important tag to see if it would work but still nothing. I'm at a loss and need to have this site complete and launched with new domain by tonight!
    The link:
    http://lisastendig.businesscatalyst.com/embodiment-blog
    I'm trying to get the body copy to be the font Muli as well as with some proper interline spacing.
    I hope someone can help today - it would be so much appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi BubbleHouse,
    I checked the details layout of the blogs and seems the font-family is entered in the inline code of the blog post and it is taking preceedence over the system css.
    You can go to the content of blog post and change the font-family: calibri, serif to font-family: inherit, it should take the font from the modulestylesheet.css
    <span style="font-size: 15pt; font-family: calibri, serif; color: #343434; background: none 0% 0% repeat scroll transparent;">

  • Create and send EDM using Adobe MUSE and Business Catalyst.

    There is just one thing missing in my armour as a graphic designer – creating and sending EDMs.
    Given the success of creating websites using Adobe Muse, an EDM functionality would be a fantastic addition to MUSE and Business Catalyst (BC). Imagine this:
    1. I open Adobe Muse.
    2. I select "New EDM"  (instead of "New Site").
    3. I design and build my EDM to spec.
    4. I test my EDM using 'Preview' or a single send to myself.
    5. I publish my EDM to Business Catalyst.
    6. In BC, I review my EDM and add 'FROM NAME', 'FROM EMAIL ADDRESS' and 'SUBJECT'.
    7. I import my database.
    8. I hit SEND!
    After my EDM has gone out, I can review a report in BC - just like any report for a website.
    As a designer that does not know code but can build a website using MUSE - creating an EDM is the one thing I can't personally offer. Using a digital supplier can be expensive and website like Mail Chimp aren't professional enough.
    To the Adobe Muse team, please – for the love of humanity – consider this as viable addition to MUSE. You will save a lot of heart ache and win a lot of hearts.
    Thanks,
    Phil

    Done!

  • Integrating Adobe Muse and Business Catalyst

    Hello. Normally I don't take on CMS or E-Commerce sites because I'm kinda simple in the head when it comes to figuring out code and stuff, but with the integration between Adobe Muse and Adobe Business Catalyst I'm thinking about giving it a shot. (And I kinda need the moolah, to be honest...)
    I'm trying to bid two sites, one CMS and one a fairly small E-Commerce, both for the same customer. I'm hoping to find a kind and patient person with Business Catalyst and Muse experience who can help me figure out what BC will cost so I can bid the job accurately (BC has so many different packages and whatnot I really don't know which one to buy - I'm truly baffled by the options and don't want to bid the sites based on BC costing me $400 a year, only to find I need to buy the $900/month option), then help answer all the goofy questions I'll have when I try to get Muse and BC to work together. If anyone is willing to help me through this project via phone and/or e-mail, please PM me - I'll gladly pay for your time (I don't expect good advice for free).
    Thanks!

    Hi Chris,
    You can find the pricing here: http://www.businesscatalyst.com/pricing/monthly
    CMS is offered with the "Web Marketing" plan while online shop  capabilities can be enabled via "E-Commerce" (which also includes CMS)
    Here's a good video on Muse & BC integration: www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=K-Od9LDWUcU\
    I'll leave this open for further intervention/advice from other members.
    Kind Regards,
    Alex
