Hi Laxmana,
I did the same thing as you suggested, by commenting the super class method we can just stop to go to previous page but not all the pages which are stored in back button history.
My actual requirement is, back button should not be visible to user or should not function anything. User should not use back button to navigate away. user must use 'save and back' or 'save' buttons.

Our Environment is BOXI-R2;
We have a Master Report calling a Child Report (based on Open Document);
Our requirement is to hide the" Refresh Button "in the child report Layout
we tried using "hideRefresh=true"
but the child report is not responding to the above clause

our master report has the aggregated Measure , when the user clicks on this , it has to open a child report (with paramters from master report).
We are aware of customizing "viewer.js " file (under BO install home) with "refreshDocIcon = null".
But is this the only solution to hide the refresh button in the child report ?
SInce its already a PRODUCTION environment, our customer won't allow to change the standard settings of the product.

FBL5N - disable the modify document button

Hi All!
I have to perform the following task:
When a user use the TCode FBL5N (Customer Line Item Display) there is a Modify button (which allows to modify the document). I have to disable this functionality.
OR, in the Change Document screen, I have to modify the properties of two fields (output only): Terms of payment (BSEG-ZTERM) and Baseline date for due date calculation (BSEG-ZFBDT).
I tried to perform the task using authorization objects (for the role which includes FBL5N transaction). It doesn't work because there are other roles with the same authorization object and 02 (Modify) as Activity allowed.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Can I modify the authorization check for FBL5N and add one authorization created by me? Could be this one a solution for my problem?....This authorization should be check when those certain users press Modify button...
Do you have some information about how can I create an authorization object?

No accounting document created (?) for price change MR21

Dear All,
I'm facing a strange issue:
1. I changed the price of a material (MAP price control) in MR21.
2. After price change, on the Accounting view of material master both MAP shows the new value both stock value shows the proper value. So, it is OK.
3. When I want to check the document flow and I go to transaction CKMPCD, SAP doesn't show the belonging FI/CO documents when I click on 'Accounting Documents' button (error message: C+652)
4. If I check whether accounting document exists in FB03 I can find no accounting documents.
What might be the explanation for this? Why no accounting document has been created (the price change was big enough)?
(both qty & value update is set for material type for the valuation area and there's no problem in case of price change for materials with SP)

MB5L checks if values updated in MM and values updated thanks to FI document on G/L account are the same,

To do so, start the List of Stock Values: Balances (report RM07MBS, transaction code MB5L) for the last period of the fiscal year. Enter a company code on the initial screen and set the Totals only indicator. If the report finds differences, inform SAP using the SAPNet - R/3 Frontend (formerly OSS). You can continue processing your year end closing while SAP clears up the data inconsistencies. The creation of the balance sheet is the only thing that has to wait until after the inconsistencies are removed. "
Of course you can run this report in your case for current date.
If there are no inconsistency - it means that FI should be generated - check in FB03 all FI document created by you, please.
If you find no FI document create OSS message - FI account updated without FI document during MR21 price change.

Hide Alert Me button of a Document Library

I know there are some questions already out there on this topic. However, somehow I am
not able to make it work in my case.<o:p></o:p>
I want to hide Alert Me button on the ribbon for a specific document library. I added JavaScript
to hide the button, however the issue is, when the page is loaded, I couldn't
find the button, because it is still not available. <o:p></o:p>
I tried to handle the click event of the FILES and LIBRARY text. However, I think
SharePoint already has js files like, ribbon.js and core.js which handle the
click event for FILES and LIBRARY and display the buttons accordingly. So my
custom JavaScript function doesn't fire at all.<o:p></o:p>

Disable, hide or disappear 'Search' from Start on account

Here is my problem, I have a computer with two accounts, Teacher (administrator) and Kids (standard /child), both are local accounts and would like to Disable, hide or disappear ' Search' from the Start Screen on the Kids account only! Any ideas? I know
this is possible using Group Policy Editor, but this would affect both accounts, any help will be appreciated.

Even we hide the search bar in the start screen, kid can still search in other locations like Windows explorer or Internet explorer, so what is your final purpose? Maybe we can find a alterative solution. BTW, how about Kiosk metioned by Robert?

Change/ Hide document library "Add Document" Button

I have create a document library and document template . I got some requirement like :
User don't want document upload option after clicking on "New Document" Button , Instead of that When the user will click on "New Document" button it should open Document Template which I have created already .

That template exists when you click the new dropdown from the ribbon and then select your template. If you want to change this, the easiest way is to just hide the toolbar (which holds the new button), then add a custom link that goes to the template.

Is it possible to Hide Change Layout Button in ALV output for Report MB52 using authoriztaion.
We have created a layout in which we are hiding some coloumns which the user should not see.
But if the change layout button is active then the user can add those coloumns to output.
Is this possible through authorizations. I want to avoid doing any chnages to the std sap program.

Are you sure its VK11???? I guess for the cancellation if billing document its VF11......
Try to do the manual release to accounitng....by going to VF02 and pressing the Green Flag button after entering the cancellation document number. Or Else Try to reverse the posting with FB08.

Let me explain a little more. I had downloaded a lot of free books in the past as a trial when iBooks was first released and since then I have decided I no longer want them, because of this I hid them from the purchased section of the iBooks store. The 5 books left are ones I decided to keep as seen in the following picture.
This is how it appears in iBooks on my mac. There are 4 books downloaded and 1 book that I have decided not to download at this time. I would still like to keep this book available in the cloud incase I want to download it again in the future. You’ll notice that hide iCloud books is not selected, if I wanted to hide the book that I have chosen to keep in the cloud, but have not downloaded yet I could.
This is exactly how I think this feature should work. If you have hidden a book from your purchases it should not show up in the mac Ibooks app. (I am aware you can never actually delete a purchase, just hide them and that hidden purchases can be restored to your account from within the account management section of the iBooks store).
The iOS app is working differently for me. Here is a picture of the purchased tab on the iBooks store in iOS Ibooks. Again notice that pictures of Lilly is still yet to be downloaded. This is how I expected it to look.
If we visit the front page of iOS iBooks the view is very different from what I expected. Here we can see the 4 books I wanted to keep on my device and have downloaded. We can also see the 1 book I wanted to keep, but did not want to store locally on the device and left in iCloud (Pictures of Lilly). ME22N - Want to hide the unblock button

Here is a scenario where the client want the user should not have authorization to unblocked the line item in T-CODE ME22N. I tried lot many option but couldnt suceed.
They are not ready for transaction or screen variant like Z tcode. Is there any ways out to hide or disable the ublock icon button in me22n through authorization object or program.
Please help me out.

You could use a transaction variant - which would still use ME22N - but you would hide:

We have successfully implemented it this way, as there is no authorisation object for this.
