Disable LRO with ESXi 5 environment?

Hi All,
I have a question regarding building UC on UCS using a C210M2 rackmount server with ESXi 5 installed.
I am trying to find out if I still need to disable LRO.
I think that I do but my colleague seems quite sure we would only need to disable LRO if in a Vmware 4.0 or 4.1 environment.
Can anyone please help me out with an answer?
I have proveded a link below which I am using as my reference on the issue.

Note: If you're running CUCM 8.6, UCCX/ IP IVR 9.0 and above (i.e., UC applications using VOS/ RHEL 5+), the Linux version used in these releases is compatible with LRO, you don't have to worry about the settings (disable LRO is not required) on the host or which version of ESXi is running. However, Disabling LRO is required for CUCM including other UC applications such as UCCX/ IP IVR, etc. versions 8.0 and 8.5 (prior to VOS/RHEL 5.0) irrespective of ESXi version.

How do you disable "Run with Multiple Threads" in a standalone EXE

I have a program written in Labview 6.1. After moving to a different hardware platform, my program has started crashing at the same point every time it is run. I eventually found out that the cause of the crash is the fact that the new hardware has a dual core processor. I confirmed this by disabling "Run with multiple threads" and now the program works fine. What I need to know now is how to disable the same setting in a built EXE file, since as far as I know the "Run with multple threads" setting only affects execution in the Labview Dev environment.

Greg McKaskle once posted that using a non-reentrant (VI is NOT re-entrant) wrapper VI to make the calls to the dll will prevent simultaneous execution of the dll.

Hi UR,
BI-IP works on top of BI (datawarehouse). If you mean load data from non sap into BI and then plan with IP, it can be a good solution, if you mean plan data outside BI it is not possible.

#DATA Sync & # CONTEXT error in BI 4.1 with ECC 6 environment

I am getting the #DATA Sync & # CONTEXT error in BI 4.1 with ECC 6 environment. When i am adding Excel Sheet as asecondary source for BO report am getting this error. because of below,
Ecc data
Profit center -- 000100
Fiscal Year --- 2,014
Posting Period - 1 to12
Amount 2000
Excel Data
Profit center -- 000100
Discharge Date --- Q1 2014, Q2 2014,
Discharge Port --- Excelerate or Expediate, etc
I ahve created report Using ECC Data like, Profit center,Fiscal Year,Posting Period and Amount.
Now i want to Add from Excel Discharge Date and Discharge Port am getting the #DATA Sync & # CONTEXT error or Imcompatible object.
because i am anot able to merge these objects with ECC Objects. Can anyone suggest me what i can do to achieve this?

Have you created two different data providers (one for ECC, another for Excel data)in
the webI report,
If yes -- check whether able to see data sample in the Excel data provider
Run the WebI Report -- Design Mode -- Edit -- Select the Excel Data Provider --
Check able to see the Data Sample data whichever there in the excel sheet.
If you are able to see the Sample data…then merge common objects (able to merge
only if both the objects have same data types.) then check the data in the
report.

In this case, you would see many BOMs, High quantity of POs, Supplier invoices etc. This is in addition to the normal needs for Quality inspection forms, WIP movement and valuation. It's intended to utilise all the modules, ordering, inventory, quality, purchasing, MRP, sales order, invoicing, payments, AR/AP, HR, CRM.

Not sure about the scenario - many BOMs for many production line - Is it that there are very high number of material master data which has BOMs or there are lot of BOMs for single material. If it is the second case, concept of variant configuration can be used, where number of BOMs are reduced by using super BOM.
Regarding high quantity of POs: probably you can exlpore the option of clubbing small POs into a single one for common vendors.

...you should have a look at the diffeent best practices offerings (aka. All-in-One). Theree are a lot of offerings there - pre-configured, ready to go - that apply to manufacturing industries like Chemical, Automotive, etc. Go to help.sap.com and you will find details abiout the content of the different best practice solutions.

Raid management on UCS 210M2 with ESXI 4.1

I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to monitor the raid on an 210M2 with the megaraid card. Currently I have install ESXI 4.1 with a windows 7 worksation. On this workstation I have install the MSM but of course you can only see the raid of that workstation... What I've read on the LSI doc is that you need to install some kind of "drivers" on the esxi console to be able to monitor the whole raid... But with the limited options in the console shell of esxi, ( no rpm ), its impossible to install that driver ...
The question is how its possible to use MSM with ESXI 4.1 to monitor/manage the raid of the ucs210m2 ?

Based on what I have read, we do not need to install anything on ESXi hosts. MSM works with ESXi through CIM provider.
Refer to section .6.5.4.1 in the LSI doc. Also, here is the KB article from LSI

Make sure the requried network ports are open between the system running MSM and ESXi host.

Having problem with the development environment

I have trouble with my development environment where I can't see the top portion of the screen. I'm using windows 8 and just download Edge Animate (2014) yesterday.. I uninstall and install the product again and still having the problem.

I think I will have to disable scrolling with the in a AdvancedDatagrid when I am using custom icons and summary rows and grouping as the whole thing goes crazy(whole rows turning black and other horrible stuff). Has anyone encountered this before?

Please share your experience about transporting from BWD to BWP. I have normally worked with BWD, BWQ, BWP, where we have the chance to test our transports on BWQ before moving the perfect changes to BWP. Certainly I see and hear that smaller companies don't have enough funds to implement 3- system landscape, but I don't see why they would want to do that - better save money then and just do ABAP R3 reporting if all you will have is just implementing one module. Aren't you suppose to have sufficient funds in order to maintain and have SAP R3 and BW running? When they start wanting to implement more modules, then it will get clumsy and unstructured. They would have to spend more effort in doing the workaround and dealing with an unruly environment.

SAP was built around the manufacturing functionality. I have been implementing SAP into Manufacturing companies for the past 17 years and the size (Big or small) and complexity (simple or complex) has never been an issue.
In fact, I would say that the companies that benefit the most from SAP are manufacturing companies that have lots of BOMs, lots of POs etc.
there couldn't be a better fit of functionality.

Disable 'Open With'

Anyone know how to disable "Open With" in the contextual menu, or at least move it to the very bottom and out of the way? Hacks are acceptable.
Or is there a way from preventing OS X from inundating the Open With contextual menu with every single possible app available on your system that can open one file? Like being able to pick and choose which apps gets populated in Open With for any given file. Gets very annoying when you use the contextual menu to delete a file, end up rolling over 'Open With' inadvertantly, and your system just hangs until all the apps available are searched and loaded. If your system searches through a lot of apps, it doesn't matter if you have an 8-core system, with 32GB of ram, it's still long.
Deleting or resetting the cache, is only temporary, as it OS X will repopulate all apps again. Not to mention, it messes up how file extensions are recognized in the system. ie. after resetting the contextual menu cache, .cbr is being seen as a .rar file. So when I go to change .cbr to be opened with Comicview (from UnRarX), all .cbr AND .rar files are opened with Comicview. If I change all .rar files back to UnRarX, .cbr files are opened by UnRarX.

How to disable logon with token when session times out.

Please help!!!,
After I modified, save and close the web.config file and restart IIS, it continues to send me to the logon page after the session times out.
Is there other way that i can disable the logon after the session times out?

I think if you enable some type of SSO (single sign-on) you could accomplish something like this, but with traditional logons this would be a security risk. You would need to allow your sessions to not time out. After a session times out with out some type of SSO involved it's impossible for our application to identify who the user is when they access an object. This is why you are reprompted for logon.
There may be a way to extend session life indefinitely but it wouldn't be recommended.
