Hi,
no there is not such a functionality.
From a field settings perspective you may work at account group level, =>OBD2 or OVT0
and/or at transaction type level => OB20
With OB20 you can distinguish between creation and change.
You may also react per authorisation. See F_KNA1_EAN. In that case you may gray out fields individually.

Sub Problem:
When using the advanced edit cursor, right click Is used to select a hyperlink-properties the first time the dialog box pops up it does not have “focus” (not sure that is the right term, but the box is grayed out and will not respond to the keyboard.). It must be mouse clicked to get focus. The second time a link is right clicked to properties the popup responds to the key board and will move to the action tab with ctrl-tab
It’s not clear to me where the acrobat program is at that point.
Is that a known action or problem with acrobat pro 9.4.4?
Is there a key or keys from the keyboard that can force focus to the box?
The problem is each file I open I have to manually find a link and right click it to get the box then click in the box to get “focus”. After the first one the box pops up with focus.

Main Problem:
I have been working on converting a set of pdf files with 1000’s of hyperlinks like www.site.com\folder1\file1.pdf#page=10
To jump to a local copy of the files with a relative type link
../folder1/file1.pdf and then go to the proper page.
I have found that it can be done manually by changing the hyperlink to a javascript
var otherDoc = app.openDoc('../folder1/file1.pdf', this);otherDoc.pageNum = 10 - 1;
and setting each destination file with a disclose()=true;

I have resorted to the following plan using acrobat javascript, an external keyboard macro recorder and excel in combination to get around the problem
Four folder level acrobat javascripts with “buttons”
One to get all the link quads in an array, in the pdf and report the total number
The second creates a form field in the far corner of the first page and moves there.
The third jumps to each link found by creating a form field just to the left of the link and zooms in so it can be selected by a “mouse click” from the keyboard macro recorder
The forth deletes the form field
The keyboard macro recorder runs javascript 2 and then 3 then clicks on the link just to the right of the middle of the screen and uses keys to get to the advanced editing to get to edit the hyperlink .
The hyperlink is then copied to excel where it is converted using string functions to the needed javascript text to be copied back.
To the acrobat file into a java script (after deleting the hyperlink)
Rinse/lather/repeat
I have been able to convert about 150 links an hour.
Better then hand typing, but not like having java access to the links.

I didn't intend to say you must close the X box after each
apply. It's OK to apply one change and go to another item before
closing the dialogue. It's the OK button that messes up sometimes.
Even when you hit the Apply button for a very large selection
of topics, the OK button sometimes will undo the apply, not
necessarily for all selected topics. Even when you've made just one
batch change.
I think it's because OK tries to re-set all settings (that's
why it takes forever), but does not correctly pick up the mass
changes previously applied. Or maybe it takes forever because it
can't find the new info and defaults to the existing settings.
A pain in the butt when you're trying to apply a stylesheet
to a very large number of topics. Please don't ask me to define "a
large number."
Maybe it's a space limit in RH, similar to the space limit
for the number of characters in a batch of file names you want to
import. Or maybe the OK button doesn't look in the right places.

go to transaction WE30 and give the corresponding IDoc type and enter. Then you will get all segments for that IDoc type then double click on segment. A popup box will come in that it will show a check box whether it is a mandatory segment or not. And segment editor button will give all the field details.

You may have to see about using the Recovery HD partition to attempt to erase and restore useful function of the capacity lost to the former Windows installation.
And you may have to backup your contents outside the computer to do it. Disk Utility on the Mac OS X historically has not been able to touch a BootCamp created partition; so if BootCamp cannot remove it, then you have to see how to do the equivalent of a reformat of the entire drive (less Recovery partition?) then reinstall your OS X. Maybe from internet recovery, then get your applications, etc from the Mac App store, etc.
A complete system clone of your OS X on an external HDD would be another method to restore after reformat, of the portion you want whole again, not necessarily the space where Recovery may live.
There may be (an)other way(s).
Perhaps someone with recent experience
in this matter can reply & discuss options.
With my antiques, they almost know what I want before I tell them.

In the HEAD of each web page, include regular old embedded
STYLE tags,
but INCLUDE an external PHP file:

Issue with clearing a grayed out search criteria field

Hi,
I have grayed out a field ABC for its default value XYZ in the search criteria of lead search...
But when I click the CLEAR button, it clears the XYZ value of field ABC..
I don't want the value of ABC to be cleared...
Do I need to redefine the CLEAR method?
How do I achieve this purpose?

go to your eh_onclear event place the break point check the code where exactly parameters values are clearing. copy the standard code redefine the method eh_onclear past the code in your redefine method and change the logic where exactly the parameters are clearing as a standard.
ex as the above code:
WHILE lr_param IS BOUND.
     lr_param->get_properties( IMPORTING es_attributes = ls_param ).
in ls_param you will get ATTR_NAME as ur field and low,high sign option values
check this ls_param-ATTR_NAME ne 'urfield'. clear the content else check the low and high value of the remaining field values.
     IF ( ls_param-low IS NOT INITIAL ) OR
        ( ls_param-high IS NOT INITIAL ).
       CLEAR: ls_param-low, ls_param-high.
       lr_param->set_properties( EXPORTING is_attributes = ls_param ).

How to disable items (gray out) in DataGrid control?

Hi,
I need to implement a custom component to have a selectable list with a maximum selected items.
that is, when the selected items reach the max number, all un-selected items will be gray out.
Now I am able to use DataGrid control to display a selectable "checkbox" (through itemRenderer) at first column, to let user select the item.
And the list name in second column.
But I can't find a way to gray out (disable) those un-selected item when max is reached.
Can anyone give any advise?

what is listInUse insdie the itemRenderer? I am not very clear about how you use
it. However there are 2 ways of doing it. Not sure if data.selected can be used
to enable/disable the itemrenderer. So I will asume not. Have an extra bindable
"enabled" property in your dataProvider model. So when you reach the maximum of
selected items iterate through the collection and set the set the enabled
accordingly. The renderer's enabled property is bound to the model's enabled so
it should update accordingly. The other way is to bind the enabled of the
renderer on the selected. But as I said I am not sure how your code works ...

related to another thread (notif_create), I am trying to select Business Processes in the NOTIF_CREATE Dialog. My Solution has Business Processes assigned, and I can see them in the F4 Help List, but I cannot apply them (green check mark is grayed out)
How can I make this field changeable?

How can I customize Firefox to eliminate the function where the browser grays out the window in order to highlight a question box?

Ever since I upgraded from Firefox 3 (which I waited so long to do because I couldn't customize the newer Firefox the way I wanted to) to Firefox 14.0.1, I have had a problem.
I guess that one of the websites I visit is trying to imitate Windows, where the background becomes grayed out whenever it wants you to concentrate on a response box. So when I am on a third-party email site (Inbox.com), and delete a message, when the message box pops up to ask me if I really want to delete the message, the background becomes grayed out while the response box is displayed. This never happened on that site when I used Firefox 3, and I would like to prevent this from happening.
I have tried to manage this with an add-on (Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus), but it won't allow me to select the grayed out part of the screen the way it does with unsolicited "pop-ups".
Is there a Firefox setting or an add-on I can use to keep the background from becoming "grayed out"?

It isn't that there is anything grayed out that I need to see, just that it would be a preference of mine to not have the graying occur. It didn't happen in build 3.
It's just that something about the graying strikes me as "bossy", and since it's my computer (and I should be able to control it as I please), it irritates me.
To answer your other post, I don't want to upgrade to build 20. Actually, I would rather return to 3, just to keep things like this from happening.
In version 3, I also had more control over the autocomplete function on some websites. I'm not talking about the autocomplete that fills in forms or passwords, but the autocomplete that occurs when you type in a search box on a website. I had eliminated almost all occurances of autocomplete by using various different things, until I got Firefox 14. Now I have to put up with it on a few sites, including one that I use often.
Every time I get a newer version of Firefox, I have to accept more and more things that I don't want to have in my browser.

How do I add a number from one field to another then clear out the first field

In a form I am creating I have a field or a series of fields that have variable numbers in them. I would like to create another set of fields that when I click on a button (or some other method) will add whatever number is placed in another field to that first field.
For example:
Text1a is normally a variable field. I have another field (text2a) that I input another number into. I normally add these two numbers together manually and the total replaces what was in Text1a.
Text1a = 4, I enter in a 2 in Text2a, so now Text1a will become a 6. I would like to have it so that when I click on a button it automatically adds the two numbers together and then replaces the current number in Text1a with the new total and also clears out the number in Text2a.
Note: Text1a and Text2a are columns where the next filed down is Text1b and Text2b and so on.
Can someone please help me on this?

Grey out the Time field in date assignment block

In my project we need to create a date profile in which i need a date rule to get today date and the time should be greyed out. i tried all day event but not working out for Zdate type. I tried different date types but Time field is not greyed out ( changing time to 00:00 is possible but client needs time to be empty)

as far I understand you want to define a certain date type as read only. There are several different ways to achieve your requirement:
date profile customizing: you can set the date as read only
I did not get your requirement of the time field, you can however play around with the following display customizing:
use BAdI CRM_APPOINTMENT_BADI to influence the appointment set
enhance the UI component, using the I-getter you can change a field to read only on UI level
