Disable parts of menubar of standard transaction IW53
Hi,
i want to use transaction iw53 via ITS.
For this i created a service in sicf and maintained the konfiguration for gui as followed:
~TRANSACTION value IW53
~THEME value SL
~GENERATEDYNPRO value 1
~ITSMOBILE value 1
~_DOMAINRELAXED value 1
This works fine, BUT
when i go to the notification i want to disable the part "Service notification" of the menu bar to avoid the changing of the notification.
Is it possible to disable this part?
maybe via HTML-Template? Generate a template for transaction and modify this template?
If its possible how can i change the template for this case?
i have not any experience in using and binding HTML-Templates.
Thanks a lot
best regards
Dennis

Hi Dennis,
You have to use ~webgui_simple_toolbar parameter on your ITS service to do this.
Look this wiki:

Hope this helps,

How to disable a field in a standard transaction
Good day,
Can any one tell me , with an example of , how to disable (the field should not allow any input ) a parameter or a select option in a standard transaction.Probably the only way to achieve this is by creating transaction variants:
In the SAP Reference IMG, you can create transaction variants. Choose Basis Components ® Application Personalization ® Tailoring of Application Transactions ® Configure Transaction-Related Display Values for Fields (Transaction SHD0). Transaction variants allow you to preset values for fields in a transaction, set field attributes, or hide entire screens.
To execute a transaction variant, you define a variant transaction using the Transaction Maintenance transaction (SE93).
Once you have entered a transaction code and short description, choose transaction type Transaction with variant (Variant transaction).
To define a variant, enter the name of the transaction and the name of the variant. You can then use the new transaction code to start the special variant of the transaction.
Steps :-
Transaction SHD0 - Create a variant for the required transaction bychanging the layout through hiding fields and screens.
Transaction SE93 - Create a variant transaction (e.g. for VA02 you canname it as ZA02). Next allocate the transaction variant to this varianttransaction. -
SAP standard transactions for missing parts
Hi!!! Friends,
Is there any SAP standard transaction (s) or procedure (s) which will give the list of missing components/ parts per sales order, process order, stock transfer, projects, subcontracting apart from V_V2, CO24 & ME2O standard transactions?Hi ,
As per me there is no other transaction. CO24 solves the purpose of missing part list view for projects more effectively.

How to add new fields to a table control in a standard transaction JHA3X
Hi All,
We have a requirement where we have to add two new fields to a table control
in a standard transaction JHA3X .
We don't want any changes into our standard code and also we don't have any USER EXIT for that
screen.
Please provide with some solutions for the same .
Thanks in advance .You will need add this to the /var/clientlibs/libs/cq/security/widgets.js and add the field under the 'CQ.security.UserProperties'. For example, if you wanted to add a field to show the 'Middle Name' under the 'First Name' field, you can try adding the following:
"items":[{
"xtype":"textfield",
"fieldLabel":CQ.I18n.getMessage("Login"),
"anchor":"100%",
"disabled":true,
"allowBlank":false,
"name":"rep:userId"
"xtype":"textfield",
"fieldLabel":CQ.I18n.getMessage("First Name"),
"anchor":"100%",
"name":"givenName"
"xtype":"textfield",
"fieldLabel":CQ.I18n.getMessage("Middle Name"),
"anchor":"100%",
"name":"middleName",
"xtype":"textfield",
"fieldLabel":CQ.I18n.getMessage("Last Name"),
"anchor":"100%",
"name":"familyName",
"allowBlank":false
Hope this helps.

Search help for field in Standard Transaction
Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to have an F4 search help for a standard field .
( Plant, werks, Tx AS01 ). This field is not associated with any standard search help, but it throws F4 values programmatically .
We need to associate a standard search help ( BETR_BUKRS ) with this Plant field.
1. How to proceed abt it ( As it is a part of module program , can we straight away associate with the search help in the property ) ,it is a field of standard Transaction .
2. If we include search help above, what will happen to the already existing F4 functionality ? Can we have both in tabs ?
Thanks a lot,
~Abap LoverHi Seshatal,
Thanks for the input, but this field does NOT have any ON VALUE REQUEST event associated with it ....
as soon as F4 is hit, it goes to Function help_start ,so I don't think we can make any changes here as it is standard .
I think including a standard search help will help....how to achieve this ?
Thanks, -
Hello SAP gurus. This time i want to ask about webservices and standard transactions. so this is the deal:
- It is possible to transform a SAP standard dialog transaction (wich doesnt have a related BAPI) and become into a webservice?
- If that so, it's possible to disable the dialog functionallity of it?
- And finally it's possible to do the same for a custom user program?
Thank you very much for your attention and help.Hi,
in asnwer to your questions:
- It is possible to transform a SAP standard dialog transaction (wich doesnt have a related BAPI) and become into a webservice?
The only way that I can think of would be to either create your own BAPI or to generate some BDC that the service calls.
- If that so, it's possible to disable the dialog functionallity of it?
When a service is consumed, it runs under the user ID of the person who logs on. If using BDC, disabling the transactional access would also remove the authorisations to consume the service. The only way around this would be to always call the service under a fixed user ID, which would then loose things such as audit trails as to who had made changes.
- And finally it's possible to do the same for a custom user program?
Exactly the same would apply as above. If the custom program is populating "Z" tables, you could directly update the database from your service code, which would allow you to remove transactional access.
Hope this helps

Copying standard transaction to Z-Transaction
Hi,
I need to copy standard transaction to Z-Transaction,
i.e., MIRO to ZMIRO.
And then I need to insert some code in one of the include program of ZMIRO.
please tell me the various steps involve for copying a standard transaction.While copying a standard transaction may at first seem the easy way to achieve the functionality you need, there are a number of longer term negatives with this approach.
If you copy major parts of SAP code like this, your copies will not be kept up to date as SAP OSS Notes are applied to the original using SNOTE. You can manually apply such changes, but this is nearly always forgotten as the person applying the note does not always realise there is a local copy.
This also applies when support packs are loaded - the SAP code can be changed without these changes being reflected in your copy. In the worst case scenario, the change may result in your copy of the transaction performing invalid updates to data and causing data integrity issues in your system.
When the time comes to upgrade the system, there will be a major amount of work in comparing the Z version of the code with the standard code to identify what is in the new version and to update the Z code - in a lot of cases this will mean a complete rebuild of the Z version is required.
It is far better to use available BADIs, user exits, enhancement points and even repairs using the object key to achieve the desired result so that tools like SNOTE, SPAU, etc can keep the basic code up to date with the latest patches.
Another option for some types of change is to build a custom screen that calls the standard transaction using BDC / Call Transaction or using a BAPI so that the data is presented as desired by the customer, but the updates still use the SAP supplied code.

Hi all,
I have a requisite to call a standard transaction (SP01) within a Z program but i have to disable one field in the screen of SP01.
Is this possible?
Or there is another way to change the field of SP01 screen?
Regards,
Pedro BessaAfter trying to create a transaction variant for SP01 i got to the conclusion that this method only works for SCREENS and not for selection screens, because what we see when we open the SHD0 put SP01 on it run and press enter the screen that should list all fields is empty.
I've made a z transaction with a screen and it works but not with the selection screen.
So i guess this will not solve my problem. Maybe there is another way to do it...
When we do call transaction sp01 can't we access the selection screen of SP01 and put the field for output only?
Regards,
Pedro Bessa -

How can I disable POST GOODS RECEIPT button in transactions VL31N/VL32N via Authorization or Role Level, There is a requirement from my client and i propose two methode
1- Creation of Ztcode ZVL32N and do changes ABAP program level
2- Disablement via Authorization/Role level - but how can i find the auth object/ Authorization corresponds to POST GOODS RECEIPT button in VL32NI think you can make use of SHD0 - Transaction variant to achieve this. You can make it as grayed out while recording steps in SHD0.

How to add function key to a menu exit in a standard transaction
Hi all,
I have a requirement to add a function key for a menu item in a standard transaction.
In Menu bar we have an option Extras->Other->Repricing . Now my requirement is if i click a function key (ex. F9) the code under the menu exit (Repricing) should trigger. For that i had a function exit EXIT_SAPLJHPA_011 and in this the menu exit SAPLJHPA +CU7 is defined.could anyone suggest me the procedure in detail to add a function key..
Thanks in advance,
Uday.Hi
for this u have to edit standard PF-status, that particular transaction is using. becarefull as the same pf-status may be used for many programs.
get the PF-status for that program. you can get the pf-status via se80, give the program name and u can get the the list of all the objects of that prigram, there you can edit the standard status and can add the function key to your menu item. -
Add button to RF Standard transaction
Hello,
Is it possible to add a push button to an RF Standard transaction? and How?
ThxHi,
SAP has provided Dummy screens to each RF screen for you to enhance it. They usually named as 'SAPLXLRF' and screen number would be 9XXX . 'XXX' being the original screen number. Then you need to activate the corresponding user exit that starts with MWMRF* for the corresponding screen. Also in the RF Screen Management you need to add an entry with Variant '1'.
Hope that helps.
Thanks

How to create F4 for the standard transaction
Hi all ,
How to create F4 for the standard transaction for a particular field .
ByeSantosh,
You can create F4 values for a field in a standard Transaction .
1. First search for a standard search help meeting your requirement .
2. If you don't find one, create your own custom (z) serach help .
( 1 is preferable )
After that, include that serch help to the standard field in the transaction .
For this u need to go to the screen
( F1->F9-> screen-> Field )
Click on the property of the field and include the search help .
You ll require the access key from the basisi guys as u r changing standard .
Hope it helps,

Thanks in advance.Hi
So the command SET SCREEN 0. LEAVE SCREEN. should "place" the program just after the calling of the popup so here:
FUNCTION z_call_screen.
* Call the Pop up screen
CALL SCREEN 9000 STARTING AT 35 05.
"<------------------------- The program should be here after going back from popup 9000
ENDFUNCTION.
Is it true?
