Disable prompt for "This Website wants to install the following Add-on: Java on Windows 7 x64 SP1 IE 10
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this-Didnt see any forum or I missed it for Internet Explorer.
Here is my problem, We have uses that are running a webpage that is trying to install an older version of Java, The workstation has the latest version of Java, BUT the webpage seems not to care, and wants to put a older version.
Is there a way I can disable this:
"This website wants to install the following add-on: 'Java SE Runtime Environment.....'.
We have uses that will click on the Install button, and thus compromising the workstation.

This is a security feature if IE and is not tied to whether or not you have a sight “allowed” to use an add-on. It behaves in this manor to help protect you against malware. Disabling this notification is not a good choice .
Have you tried to reinstall the Java software to have a check ?
There is a possibility the present installation has corrupted .Please restart the machine after reinstalling the software.

Now, If i hit allow it will allow it but it pops up on almost every new website i go to and i have to allow it each and everytime.
Yet my Adobe version is 10,0,32,18 as shown in the picture below.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled overwritten and uninstalled Internet Explorer 8 with no luck of getting rid of this annoying problem. Note, You need to exit any browser you have up (IE,Firefox,ect) or else you will not be able to delete it and it'll say access denied. After deleting that i installed Adobe Flash Player with a .exe i downloaded from Adobe and it worked perfect! No more annoying message
Side note, I'm use XP so the marcomed folder might possible be somewhere else if you are useing Vista or Windows 7. -

I have cleared the "approved sites" for the Adobe Flash add-on in IE because I want to approve each site individually. The problem I am having is that EVERY PAGE I visit triggers the subject alert whether or not the page actually contains flash content. Anyone else experiencing this and more importantly, is there any way to solve this so the alert only pop-up for pages using flash content?

ANY of those will work trouble free where IE won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in. -
I want to see the images from the Internet, want to chat on dardesha, an Arabic chat site, want to dOwnload also java. If all these cannot be happened so then what is the use of Purchasing such a costly iPad, I am working on a shop where I use to sell my own laptops and accessories And was encouraging to purchase iPad, iPhones, apple laps etc but this problem is not going from the past several months if it will be like this then I will Throw this iPad and never buy or ask my customers to buy it. So, here I am and here's the facts.
No Apple iOS mobile has ever and, probably, never will have Flash. Adobe has not developed a working reliable and stable version of Flash that Apple is willing to use on their devices.
I looks like you didn't do any homework researching Apple mobile devices.
These issues have been discussed over and over here in these forums and other places on the Internet.
It's common knowledge that Adobe Flash has never been implemented on any of Apple's mobile platform devices.
No secret here.

Other Tablet devices such as Motorola Xoom, Samsung's Galaxy Tab and Research in Motion's Playbook all do Flash and maybe Java, too!
iPad is not for you! If you can find and purchase these in your location, you may fare better with one of these tablet devices, instead. But I doubt it!

Message: "Adobe Reader blocked for this website"
When I try to open a pdf file a message appears "Adobe Reader blocked for this website". i then click the little arrow and another window pops up and it reads: "Do you want to trus the website www.........com to use the Adobe Reader plug in? And when I click "Trust" I can then move on to my PDF Download. This was never an issue before and wonder how I can rectify this? Does it have something to do with a 'plug in'?
What browser? On what OS?

Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

It isn't the retail version, because that's 10.6.3.
Assuming it's the correct disc (i.e. the one that shipped with your Mac), you need to boot from it again.
OK the language page.
From the installer screen, ignore the continue button, go to the menu bar and choose Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
In DU, select your internal drive in the sidebar (the top item with the makers name and serial no.).
Run Repair Disk. If that comes up as disk OK, click the partition tab. Select the partiton from the drop-down above the graphic; 1 partiton is all you need.
Go to the options button and ensure that the partition scheme is GUID and the file system to Mac OS Extended (Journalled). Name the partiton (usually Macintosh HD), click Apply.
When the Macintosh HD volume appears below the drive name, quit DU and see if you can then install.
If the screen after the language screen doesn't show the menu bar, it may be necessary to use another Mac to do the job with the MB in Firewire Target Disc Mode. If it won't boot in TDM, or the MB doesn't have FireWire then it's getting very difficult. -
How can i undo "never for this website" on iTouch
On my iTouch, i incorrectly selected "never for this website" when entering a website password. is there a way to undo that so i can save the password?
Success! I finally got the save password prompt to return for the website I wanted by ALSO clearing HIstory, Cookies and Cache (from Settings>Safari>Clear...History, Cookies, Cache. This was after clearing the auto-fill as recommended by lllaass above. After clearing the auto-fill, I discovered a stored password was still available at another website so then I tried clearing the other items. - VW49

I use Safari as my browser. When on a site and I click on a PDF file I get a black screen and a notice that "Adobe Reader blocked for this website". However, this does not happen if I use Firefox.
Back up all data before making any changes. Please take each of the following steps until the problem is resolved.
Step 1
If Adobe Reader or Acrobat is installed, and the problem is just that you can't print PDF's displayed in Safari, you may be able to print by moving the cursor to the the bottom edge of the page, somewhere near the middle. A black toolbar may appear under the cursor. Click the printer icon.
Step 2
There should be a setting in its preferences of the Adobe application such as Display PDF in Browser. I don't use those applications myself, so I can't be more precise. Deselect that setting, if it's selected.
Step 3
If you get a message such as ""Adobe Reader blocked for this website," then from the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and check the box marked
Allow Plug-ins
Then click
Manage Website Settings...
and make any required changes to the security settings for the Adobe PDF plugin.
Step 4
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it, the copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Paste into the text box that opens (command-V), then press return.
From the folder that opens, move to the Trash any items that have "Adobe" or “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then quit and relaunch Safari.
Step 5
The "Silverlight" web plugin distributed by Microsoft can interfere with PDF display in Safari, so you may need to remove it, if it's present. The same goes for a plugin called "iGetter," and perhaps others — I don't have a complete list. Don't remove Silverlight if you use the "Netflix" video-streaming service.
Step 6
Do as in Step 3 with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari. -
I upgraded my itunes to 10.6 and now I get the error "The software required for this iPhone is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes to install the required software." I get the same error on my iPad. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Please help!!
Edit: 10.6.3. I have uninstalled using the uninstall programs on itunes and then I downloaded again from the itunes website multiple times. This is not resolving the issue. The phone shows up in My Computer.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.

Do not worry. Hold Sleep (the button you have at the top of the phone) and Home buttons at the same time until your phone restarts, and then try installing the iOS update again.
