Please help

It seems that time_stamping the changes is a logical feature.
As far as I know, we can't disable it.

Is there any way to remove the time stamp from the Track Changes bubble? I can't seem to find a way to do it. Maybe it just can't be done?

  • How to remove time stamp on query export?? HELP

I am runnning SQl Developer 2.1 and built a query which returns dates that letters were mailed and or correspondence received. My Query Results show normal date format (02-Mar-12) within Developer. When I export the results to Excel it includes the time stamp (02-MAR-12 06.13.20.000000000 PM). I had a coworker with an older version run the same query, when she exported the results the time stamps weren't exported, just the date. How can I change the export to remove the time stamp? Any help would be great. Thanks.

    Hi,
Clearly a bug. You can try changing your Tools|Preferences|Database|NLS|Timestamp Format to match the Date Format as a workaround. Otherwise why not upgrade to the lastest production SQL Developer release (3.1.07.42)? The bug does not occur there.

  • Remove time stamp from date

    hi guys
Had start date and end date as prompt in webi report and showing same date value in report header using UserResponse function but it is showing time with date, and in report both columns are showing in dd/mm/yyyy format, have tried using FormatDate(UserResponse("Start Date:"); "dd mmm yyyy"), it is giving an error
" The expression/sub-expression uses an invalid data type"
please tell me what is wrong in the formula
    thanks & regards

    Hi,
It is creating an #ERROR when the format you assign to the ToDate function does not match the date in the string.
E.g. if you have a user response like '1/1/1998 12:00:00AM' you could use the formula:
    =FormatDate(ToDate(Left(UserResponse("prompt");8);"M/d/yyyy");"dd MMM yyyy")
to get a result as: 01 JAN 1998
However this fails when the date changes to 10/1/1998 or 1/10/1998 or 10/10/1998. In those cases the format of the ToDate function should be: "MM/d/yyyy" or "M/dd/yyyy" or "MM/dd/yyyy".
I know it's a lot of work, but the best solution is to create variables for month, day and year:
    1. variable for month v_month
    =Left([prompt_date];Pos([prompt_date];"/")-1)
    2. we need to get rid of the first part of the string to find the second '/' so we create a dummy variable dummy1
    =Right([prompt_date];Length([prompt_date])-(Length([v_month])+1))
    3. variable for day v_day
    =Left([dummy1];Pos([dummy1];"/")-1)
    4. create a second dummy variable dummy 2 to get rid of the day part of the string
    ==Right([dummy1];Length([dummy1])-(Length([v_day])+1))
    5. variable for year v_year
    =Left([dummy2];4)
Just assuming that the year is always 4 positions in the prompt string.
Now you can create your variable for displaying the date in the format you want:
    ==FormatDate(ToDate(FormatNumber(ToNumber([v_month]);"00")+FormatNumber(ToNumber([v_day]);"00")+FormatNumber(ToNumber([v_year]);"0000");"MMddyyyy");"dd MMM yyyy")
Note: I was just assuming that your date format is always month/day/year. If the format is different then you need to change the variables accordingly.
    Hope this helps

  • Video Time Stamp Removal

Does anyone know if there is a way to remove time stamps from a Hi8 8mm Video Cassette Tape? Or from the digitized version of said tape?

    Hi
If You have the original tape and Camera - You turn of the feature on the Camera
and import via an analog/digital converter (or if Your Camera has digital FireWire out)
If You got Your material digitized with date&time stamp. Sorry - only way is to
make this area fuzzy/unsharp = as bad as if it is as it is.
Alternative: If You use iMovie'08 or FinalCut Express or Pro You can enlarge the
picture slightly so that the time&date stamp goes out of the viewable area.
But still often a bad solution.
Not even Pro companies as ABC and shows like AFV can magically erase this.
Recommendation: Make a new digital copy but this time with the time&date stamp
turned off. Absolutely the most pro-approach.
    Yours Bengt W

  • How do I remove date/time stamp?

Upon uploading the pictures into the Lightroom 'library' none of them appeared to have the date stamp that they did in camera. After a few minutes, the date stamp for each started to appear. Seeing that they first loaded without the date stamp leads me to believe that I should be able to remove it easily. How can I do this without the hassle of cloning/cropping/editing. Is there a way to remove it from the metadata perhaps?

Which data/time stamp are you talking about, and why do you want to remove it?
I mean, it can probably be done using exiftool, but usually people want to keep it/them (or correct if wrong..).
I mean #2, I think you can remove it from exports, e.g. using a plugin like Jeffrey Friedl's Metadata Wrangler (if Lr's coarse handling doesn't satisfy), or if Jeffrey's plugin won't do it, a plugin like Exportant would.
Or if you just want to remove it from display - then press the 'i' key, or adjust view options, or define a metadata viewing preset...

  • Remove the time stamp in a PDF document

So.... I'm hoping that there's a way to remove the time stamp from a PDF document I'm working on. I can't find it in preferences and a search has been less than fruitful. Any ideas??  Thanks!

If you use the redaction tool to redact white space and then apply the redaction, it will give you the option to remove all hidden information. That should do what you wish.

  • Remove the comment time stamp in a PDF document

Does anyone know what's the best way to remove the comment time stamp from a document?
    thanks

Do you mean that you want to remove the timestamp of a particular comment? If so, there are two timestamps associated with a comment, the creation date and the modified date. The modified date is what's shown in the comments list in Acrobat/Reader and can be altered by a script, but the creation date will still be present though unseen and unmodifiable directly with a script. It's possible to export the comments to a data file (FDF/XFDF), edit the file to remove/replace any timestamp info, and re-import the comments into a copy of the file that doesn't have comments. So the best approach really depends on what it is you're trying to accomplish.

  • How do you remove the date/time stamp from a photo before printing?

I have one group of photos in an event that have the date and time stamp on them.  I don't know how to remove the date/time stamp before printing.

If you have your camera set to imprint the date/time on the photo you can not "remove it - it is a part of the photo - depending on the surounding photo you might be able to retouch it out

  • Date and Time Stamp Removal?

Does anyone know how to digitally remove the date and time stamp on the face of the photo once the photos are loaded in Aperture, short of doing re-touch? Working in Aperture 3.

    ebigglesworth,
I too am curious about Frank's mention of the date and time removal tool.
As an aside to your comment:
I'd rather just be able to tell aperture I don't want the time stamp on the image, to remove it some how digitally, if that makes sense. You'd think it could just be backed out in some fashion.
That's impossible. Your camera made it impossible. Your camera threw out some pixel data of the real picture in favor of replacing it with yellow, white, and black pixels (or whatever color your timestamp is). Basically, the original photo information is completely lost. All you can do is smudge things (in one way or another) and make the best of it. It will never look completely right unless you use a pixel editor (which Aperture is not) and painstakingly put color in, pixel-by-pixel.

  • Disable time-stamp in comments

    Dear all,
when adding comments to a PDF it automatically creates an annotation with the commenters NAME, DATE and TIME. Is it possible to deactivate this time-stamp?
    It's the  version 10.1.1.
Thanks for any hint and kind regards,
    Ole

Thanks for the idea.I tried it but it did not include the date/time in the output log.I did see it display on the screen.Am I missing something?

    Hi Rick,
Firstly, please try to fully patch the terminal server, and disable third party software if there’s any installed.
If the issue persists, please check whether KB2984976 is installed, if yes, please remove it.
    Best Regards,

  • VOICE MEMOS and Wrong Time Stamps in Itunes

I've noticed that my voice memos in the new iTunes 11.1.3 (8) have incorrect time stamps all over them now. This is a real problem for me, since I need the dates that the messages were recorded. I just tested this out by recording a new one today (2/11/14) on my new Iphone 5s. It showed up dated 8/13/12 2:13pm. My phone has the correct date on it, so what gives?
    Any solutions out there?
Not to mention the fact that there are NUMEROUS DUPLICATES of previous memos that have become weird artifacts in my iTunes library each time I've backed up my materials. AND the new iTunes setup makes it incredibly hard to *actually remove data* from my system. I am concerned my private material is no longer private, but being archived elsewhere for meta-data purposes.
    C'mon, Apple. You're really slipping.

I see all timezones, have you tried setting the time/date manually? I'd do than, then pop an email to support.
