Disable/Remove tool bar and menus?

Can I disable or remove the toolbar and menus from Reader? If one of my customers opens a file then uses a toolbar or menu item, Reader crashes. Customer is using Solaris 11. This was not broken when using Solaris 10. Using v9.x.

You can disable toolbar & menu items using JavaScript.

How do you prevent the default menus (Action, Edit, Query, Block, Record, Field, Window, Help) and default toolbar (print, enter query, execute query, next record,previous record etc.) from being displayed in Oracle Forms Runtime in Forms 6?

In addition, you can attach your own toolbar vertical or horizontal from forms property pallette. Of course you must have designed your application toolbar prior to attaching it. For more information on how you can make your own toolbar, check out the forms help files, there is a good info there. If you need more help I'll be glad to assist.

New update may disable RoboForm tool bar and be incompatable with NCP

When I was prompted to install the latest update, I also got a pop up saying it would not be compatible or would disable RoboForm, which is a password manager and form filler and also a problem with National Consumer Panel. I am assuming it would maybe be a problem with transmitting information, but not sure with NCP.
Firefox did say it would fix that but I don't know when or how. I absolutely have to have the form filler and the ability to transmit to NCP.
If installing Firefox's new version and this happened would I just have to go in and enable these two programs. I think they are addons or extensions, not sure of that either.
Any help is appreciated. RAE

Adobe Reader display page and text in tool bar and options too large. How can this be reduced?

My Adobe Reader (ver. XI) page for viewing and manipulating docs and the text in tool bar and menus is too large and I cannot reduce its size. I cannot add but a few functions on the tool bar without them reverting to the drop down. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe XI and that has not helped. Do not have this problem with other software so I know its not the resolution settings of computer.
Any way to reduce the size of the "viewing page" and its text? I can change the size of the doc I am viewing but not the items of the page that displays the doc.

Portal: Disable the SAP tool bar and enable a pop up in SAP IAC iview

Hi Experts,
My requirement:A user will open the ESS->Bank details iview (which uses the standard transaction PZ03) and would like to edit a record. So, he clicks on the change button and a screen to edit the record comes up. Here, he edits information as required and now decides not to save these changes. Then the user clicks on the back button and a pop up dialog box appears which asks the user if he would like to proceed without saving the changes. Once he clicks on OK, he is taken back to the previous screen. Also, in the iview, the SAP tool bar must be invisible.
I can achieve the dialog pop up to appear using these ITS parameters:
~popups = 1
~generateddynpro = 1
In this case, the SAP menu tool bar is very much visible.
If I give the ITS service parameters as
~webgui = 1
~webgui_simple_toolbar = 1
~popups = 1
~webgui_popups = 1
Here, I'm able to disable the SAP tool bar but my pop up dialog box does not appear.When I click on back button, I continue to remain on the same screen instead of the pop up dialog box getting opened.
If I give both ~webgui and ~generated dynpro together, it's not helping either.I cant see the pop up again, but able to disable the tool bar.
Need some inputs to fix this issue.
We are on EP 7.0, ECC 6.0 and ESS/MSS 50.4

I lost my bottom tool bar and the apps I was running down there. I need to have it back but your update removed something that I use.

I have run a Hebrew calendar that sits in the bottom tool bar. I have used this calendar and rely on it, but your Firefox 5 update has removed the bottom tool bar and I want my Hebrew calendar restored. What good is updating a piece of software that works by creating something that does not work? I will stop using and stop recommending my end users to switch to Firefox if you keep removing parts that are needed.
I am help desk support for a large federal government agency and until you broke Firefox with this latest update, I would suggest that my users switch to Firefox, but unless this bug is fixed I will stop doing that.

Sounds that you installed a Persona.
You can uninstall your current Persona and revert to the Default theme (Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

There is a bright flashing light over my tool bar and sometimes a flashing black box appears over the Yahoo news. I tried Reset Firefox and that didn't work. I then uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and I still have the seizure inducing flashing lights.
When I switch to Internet Explorer I do NOT have this problem. Please help me because I do not want to go back to IE.

In case this is caused by Firefox 33 being incompatible with your graphics card/chipset driver software, could you test for a while in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

You can disable hardware acceleration for all modes in the Options dialog.
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
This takes effect the next time you exit Firefox and start it up again.

Just Tool Bar and nothing else

Help! Burning DVD's last night. Tried dual layer but didn't work so split movie in FCP into two sections. Now IDvd only shows up on the tool bar and my screen saver is on the screen. When I try to open a project in this I get the spinning color wheel of death. Have to get these burned to a client so any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. Shut down your Mac.
2. Disconnect all third party USB and FW devices or anything that did not ship with your mac when it was first purchased from apple.
3. Check all connections and make sure they are plugged in and secure.
4. Give us more info on your mac (hardware wise) other than it's a G4. Which Mac is it? Tell us exactly how much available hard drive space is remaining on the boot volume (your main start up HDD) and what OS is running, and which version of QT?
5. What software do you have running on this mac? I can see you have FCP and DVDSP. Tell us which version of FCP you are running and the same for iDvd.
6. Do you have any Non-standard QT Plug ins on this mac (ie, Perian)?
7. Are you running from a server by any chance or is this mac communicating with a server of any type which might slow it down and cause the app to stall?
8. Go ahead and power up your computer. Assuming it starts normally, run apple's disc utility and repair permissions from apple's disc utility within the applications folder. You also need to dispose of the plist for iDvd immediately after repairing permissions. So go into your Home holder (the one that looks like a house) > Library > Preferences > com.apple.iDvd.plist Drag and drop this preference to the trash. Now open system preferences and go to accounts > login items and take note of which items login on their own. If you see third party software launching on its own, then we need to disable these items for the time being.
9. Restart your mac now. If it doesn't start normally and simply freezes; then come on back for more troubleshooting and we'll walk you through how to boot from the software CD that shipped with this computer so we can repair the HDD directly from the software CD. When you get this far, come on back and tell us what happened to this point.

Yes you can ..
Check this code:
DATA: itab TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.
APPEND 'DELE' TO itab.
APPEND 'PICK' TO itab.
SET PF-STATUS 'STA3' EXCLUDING itab.
Here DELE and PICK are functionCodes. Once you include them in your PF-STATUS you can disable 'em.
The problem here is you want to do it standard toolbar which is not possible but you can surely copy the standard GUI-Status and use it. And the functionality will not change and all standard SAP buttons will work as standard.
Just let me know at what stage you want to disable in a program execution and i'll let you know the GUI-Status for standard toolbar.

We use the ABAP statement "set pf-status" in PBO to set a tool bar in the module pool program
We can deactivate any button by passing the function code in the "excluding" syntax addition of the
"Set pf-status 'XXXX' excluding int_fcode'.
data declarations:
data: wa_fcode type ty_status.
data: int_fcode type table of ty_status.
eg : 'SAVE' is the function code for 'SAVE' button and '
     ÉXAMPLE' is the name of pf-status in the module pool
then according to condition required.....say, if we want to hide save button for user 'SAI'
then write
if sy-uname = 'SAI'.
    wa_fcode = 'SAV'.
    append wa_fcode to int_fcode.
    clear wa_fcode.
endif.
then
set pf-status 'EXAMPLE' excluding int_fcode.
then you will no longer be able to use the 'SAVE'functionality for the user 'SAI'
