if disable roaming data and your carrier allows to connect to another carrier in the same country (for voice services) your iPhone continue to connect with the other carrier, even if you've disabled roaming data.
that needs to be fixed as soon as possible ...
i've spent a lot of money thinking that disable roaming data works also in the same country and not only abroad

They should then add this features, a lot of people are in the same boat ... and receive tremendous bill due to this lack of capabilities of iPhone to do not lock data connection only with the own carrier in the same country.
I know that there's the possibility to use only one carrier instead of setup in automatic mode the carrier, but, as said, many carriers all over the worls allow theis customers to connect to other carriers for free ONLY for voice BUT not for data ...

I have hard time digesting your concern.. I have 4 Different instance of oracle running on sun 2.8.
8.0.5, 8.1.7, 9.i rel 1, 9i rel 2. No issues there...
The simple things is to check is you .profile ( env variables)
Example ...
Check you .profile or .cshrc ( Depends on the SHELL You are using )
Let say you have .profile
THERE IS SETTING SUCH AS...
ORACLE_SID
ORACLE_HOME
LD_LIBRARY_PATH
PATH
etc..
You could try the following..
log into to you sun box..
do echo $ORACLE_SID this will give you current SID YOU have available to work with..
so lets say if you have a 8i SID CALLED orcl8i
example assume you have .cshrc
setenv ORACLE_SID oracl8i
setenv ORACLE_HOME /oracle8i_HOME_PATH...
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /oracle8i_HOME_PATH//lib: etc..
etc...
then
you could validate by doing echo..
echo $ORACLE_HOME
echo $ORACLE_SID
now try svrmgrl
this should work..
as far as 9i you no longer have svrmgrl..
you have to apply the above method and log into the sqlplus.

10bit (30Bit) Color & Liquify Filter (both not working at the Same Time)

i've a Problem with Photoshop CS6 & CC (Actual)
On CS6, 10 bit (30bit) Color is working, but if i want to use the Liquify filter Pucker & Bloat are not working correctly while 10 bit (30bit) enabled, they are reakting too fast, changing setting does not help.
On CC with 10bit (30bit Color) enabled it's even worse, the whole Picture inside the Liquify tool is muddy only in Blue Pixels.
I'm using a Amd FirePro W8100 with the Actual WHQL driver, the Certifyed driver is worse too.
Any suggestion?

I've been having the same problem since CS6. I'm hoping for a solution soon. this is really frustrating!

My pc has a virus I just downloaded song from pc to kids ipods now both ipods are not working correctly could the virus be in the ipods, if not why are both not working doing the same thing right after unplugging from pc.

Can an ipod get a virus from a pc that has a virus. After connecting two different ipods to my pc to download music they both are not working correctly, could the virus have transferred to the ipod, if not why would both ipods not work and be doing the same thing? When trying to click on a game it just stays on the main screen.

- I have not heard of a virus that can cause problem with an iDvice that has not been jailbroken.
- Try resetting the iPods. nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Do you hve problems with one game? The same game on both iPods?

Data not adding for the same Key up in Infocube

My Dataflow goes like this: Datasource -> DSO -> Infocube.
I have created 2 DSO's for Deliveries Header & Delivery Item Seperately which gets data from 2LIS_11_VCHDR & 2LIS_11_VCITM Datasources. Both DSO's have Delivery Number & Fiscal Year variant as Key. 20 records are getting loaded to each DSO's seperately. Both the DSO's have the same Delivery Numbers & Fiscal year Variant for this 21 Records in their respective Loads as given below:

Now, I am loading data from this 2 DSO's to one Infocube, Deliveries Infocube. The problem is, after the Data load, when i go to the Contents of the Infocube, I could see 42 records. As per Infocube, it should add up the values for the same key. My Delivery numbers & Fiscal year vairant are the same in both the DSO's, so i should have got only 21 records. Why is the Infocube not adding up the records in this case, am i missing anything here?

Hi Murali,
As you are loading data from two different sources, there are two different requests and that is why you are getting 42 records, if you want to check the data consistency then create a query on top of this infocube and then check the values of key figures for delivery no's. or verify your data through query.
If you don't want to create query then you can use aggregation option from the display data of Infocube.
If you compress both the requests then you will see only 21 records in infocube.

CrossContext and WAR unpacking not working in the same context Tomcat 4.0.6

I need an application to be able to crossContext so I entered a context tag in my server.xml file.
However when I added the entry tomcat no longer unpacked the .war file. If I changed the path value in the context tomcat unpacked the war but then the crossContext would not work.
Is there a way make the two work together?
Here is a copy of the entries and what they achieve:
<Context path="myApp" docBase="myApp" debug="0" crossContext="true"/> this will unpack the war but the app will not crossContext.
<Context path="/myApp" docBase="myApp" debug="0" crossContext="true"/> will allow the app to crossContext but if I update the war and remove the myApp dir under webapps it will not extract the war file.
Incidently the host tag has unpackWARs="true"
Ideas anyone? It's a hassle to start the server twice each time, one to unpack and 2 to allow the crossContext.

PS: Does anyone know how to edit your email address in your profile? I can't seem to do it through the settings link.

Appraisals EHP4 - multiple reference objects not working in the same TAB

Dear SAP Experts,
I am working on MBO Performance Mgmt EHP4. I have created an appraisal template and testing this in MSS.
Now the structure of the template has a VB object called u201CMy Developmentu201D.
Within this VB Object I have created two other VB objects in the following order called
u201CSuccess Profilesu201D and
u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D
The business requirement is to
a)     within success profiles have the requirements of the position of the appraisee to be defaulted
b)     then have the ability for the Manager to select one of the requirements and select the ADD functionality to add another element which has 4 customs columns to then be completed by the Manager
c)     Within u201CAdditional Areas of Development, the Manager needs to be able to have an ADD button to create the 5 custom columns to be completed by the Manager.
The good newsu2026u2026..I have created the structure ok, with custom columns and have used fixed enhancement for defaulting the requirements of the appraiseeu2019s position and then having the reference object to each one of these requirements to then create 4 additional fields when the Manger selects the ADD button next to each requirement.
I have also used a separate set of reference objects to have an ADD button against the VB object u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D which is in the sequence after the VB object Success Profiles, then this will allow the creation of the 5 columns ok and works fine.
I have also used the reference object for the Success Profiles which would expect to show the ADD function to add the new element with 4 fields. Also the ADD function for the u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D appears.
I have created the config to display the My Development as a tab and have both the u201CSuccess Profilesu201D and the u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D within this tab.
The bad newsu2026.. When I select the ADD button against the VB object u201CSuccess Profilesu201D nothing happensu2026u2026u2026
The defaulting of the requirements of the appraiseeu2019s position into the appraisal document under the Success profiles ONLY works if the VB object u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D is DELETED from the appraisal document.
However, when I delete the VB object u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D the ADD of the VB object for Success Profile now works
So it only seems to work if I delete the u201CAdditional Areas of Developmentu201D VB in the document which seems wrong to me.
Please can someone advise

Delivery date not confirmed on the same day even though stock available

    Hi Experts - We are creating an STO in Brazil where stock is moving from 1 plant to another plant.
    Current ATP situation is as follows: which shows 22 EA still available.
We are creating the STO from the plant 3004 to plant 3005.
We are confused why the system is proposing the delivery date of March 17 instead of March 14, in spite of sufficient quantity being available.
We do understand that it takes 03/17/2014 because of the upcoming weekend. But when stock is available on March 14, we would have expected this result.
These are the key configurations that I have done:
Material Master:
MRP View: Planned Delivery Time is 0
MRP Type: PD (MRP)
Checking Group: 02
Assign delivery type and checking rule config for Material Master is also done as follows:

Yes If Stock is available for material & still date is changing in STO creation than may be this could have happened due to time zone setting,
2 option-I would request you   also go through Stock requirement List (MD04) & check where some pending order is lying & some purchase orders if yes then first block them,
Sometime it heppens if earlier for same material you would have created Sales order (qty is 20) & stock available qty is 15 & still with 15 qty you would have done PGI.& after some time your would have done migo for the same shortage material & this time 5 qty material could be adjusted in shortage order that's why if you go through md04 then you would be able to block shortage qty which is adjusted,n now date is showing deff,

Multiclip working and not working at the same time... not making edits

I sync'd and loaded my muliclips and it started off just fine, then i had to pause it while for a second, then i went back to it and it looked like it was running fine it was putting the blue marks in the timeline and my record monitor was switching fine. when i finished i clicked on the timeline and it didnt make the edits after i paused it. So the first half worked and the second half didnt, the blue marker points are still there. what could i have done wrong and is there anyway to put those edits in without redoing the whole clip over again?

Have you loaded the multiclip button bars?...Tools/Button Bars/Multiclip.
Exactly how are you working the multiclip...Buttons?, clicking in the viewer?
It sounds like you are 'switching' the shots and not 'cutting' them. If this is the case, then you'll need to re-edit the cuts you thought you were making.
As a general rule, I'll only go several 'cuts' at a time, then stop the playhead, let them activate, then carry on. The more cuts you do without stopping, the more you will lose, if you decide you want to make changes.

Flex 3 -1470 Touchpad and keyboard not working at the same time

Hi, I'm using a Flex 3 -1470 and whenever I press a key on the keyboard the touchpad becomes disabled. I've tried googling a solution and have the latest drivers from the Lenovo website but nothing seems to work. I've also tried editing the ALPS touchpad registry fix but it didn't work. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

When we're trying to apply a conversion to a field that is plannable and contains a value in another currency then the currency translation is not performed, we cannot see any value.

Multiple portlets using javascripts not working on the same page!!!

Does anyone know a work around for this problem????
I have two seperate dynamic pages. Each page has a drop down menu which is built from javascript and dhtml. Individually they both work fine. However they stop working when placed on a page together. Even when in seperate regions. I need to keep both of them as seperate portlets so i cannot solve the conflicts in the javascript as i would if they were coded together.
Any Ideas????

It could be a script conflict - "any duplication in variable declaration, function name, or event-handler access in two scripts can cause at least one, if not both scripts to become inoperative." Check this site to see if this applies to you:

Touchpad and kayboard will not work at the same time

I have a G505 and when i use the keyboard, i can not use the touch pad. I tried to go to mouse setting but i could not figure out what or if i should change any of that. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your issues might be similar to this thread.
Try to adjust the senstivity of the touchpad to minimum and observe, If you have an ELAN ttouchpad, check it under Control Panel (large icon view) > Mouse > Elan Tab:

Shuffle feature on my music does not work and the same song repeats until manually changed. Is there a fix for this?

I had not experienced this until upgrading to IOS 6. This completely vods the reason I bought this particular phone. Has anybody else had this problem, and I'd there a fix?
