Disable Save After Signing Form

Hello,
I have created a couple forms at work to take a word form and automate the process. In the process there are 3 signature fields that will need to be signed at different stages. Currently every time one of those fields is signed the person would have to save the document. Is there a way to disable the saving? Or is there another form of signature that we can use that wouldn't require saving?
As well, one thing the people wanted to be able to do was attach files. I know this can be done if the user has acrobat, but is there a way to allow Adobe Reader users to attach documents?

A document absolutely must be saved after a signature is applied, there's no way around it.
Reader can attach files in two ways, and both require that the document has additional usage rights applied.
In order to attach files using the "Attach a File as a Comment" tool with Reader, the document just needs commenting rights. Acrobat can apply these usage rights.
In order to embed files (e.g., Document > Attach a File) with Reader, the document needs usage rights that can only be enabled with Adobe's LiveCycle Reader Extensions (which is different than LiveCycle Designer).

I'm the person who did the WD as well, using IFrame to contain the PDF binary. WD site didn't contro the binary source.
I pre-define the 'FP_JOB_OPEN' before calling the PDF generation.

Save option disabled in Reader 7 when another user works on the same PDF

Hi, I'm a first time user of Acrobat Pro 8.1 and 9. I'm creating PDF forms. When I open the forms in Reader 7 and work on them, I can directly save it, I do not have to do 'Save as'. However, when I copy this document on another machine, open it in Reader 7 and make changes, the 'save' option is disabled, whereas, I can do a 'Save as'.
My client does not want to do a "Save as'. They want to modify the original document and just click 'save'.
I would like to know if this is an internal feature of Reader 7. Please provide a solution, if any
P.S: I'm enabling usage rights in Acrobat Professional, still the Save option is not available in machines which don't have Acrobat Professional.

The document can be copied on another machine in two ways:
1. The document can be sent by mail and copied to the recipients local drive.
2. It can be placed on a share drive and copied on another machine.
I am enabling rights through Advanced> Enable usage rights in Acrobat Professional 8.1. Do I need the Adobe Livecycle Reader extension software as well to enable local save in Reader 7?
Please provide me a solution.

I found a adobe documentation that says that If you want to disable some toolbar buttons, you will have to use application-level Javascript. Looks like it is not possible from ADLC
Place the following Javascript code inside a .js file in

You cna do this with the security options in the PDF file itself, which you can set with Adobe Acrobat, assuming you have access to the security options in the first place.

Well I need to develop an Applet (perhaps even a swing) which when loaded by any browser would disable the SaveAs option of the browser's File menu.
I tried using the Frame class of java.awt package, the code is:

Applets usually have absolutely no control over the browser they are running in (with the exception of loading other web pages and other very high level stuff). You won't be able to write an applet that disables entries in the menu bar. And even if you could it wouldn't really help you because most browsers write everything they download to disc (to the cache) where it can be recovered by anybode.
Last but not least: there are lots of tools for mirroring web sites that will allow users to download and save anything that is accessible for browsers.
However, you may be able to disable the menu bar and perhaps even change entries in some browsers like ie by activeX controls or javascript. Still this is not a very friendly way for a website to behave...

How do I open a document sent to me via EchoSign. Can I disable it as an option for forms sent out?

In form-ready layout event, you can do that if it is by default to be hidden.
Save.presence = "hidden";
if save is the button name.
Press save button and select the necessary event and choose language as Javascript and then write the above code.Here save is name of the button.

Interactive report - unable to disable save report option

When you are logged in as both a Developer and End User, you will ALWAYS see the Save button, even if it is disabled. This is so that you can save the Defaults for an IR. Thus, if you click on the save option, you should only see one item - Save Report Defaults. You will not be able to save a custom report.
Your end-users are not logged in as developers, and thus, won't see any save icon at all. In fact - if you log out of APEX and run just your application, neither will you.
