Disable Send AS
Hi there, Hoping anyone can help me out with this one. We are currently having an issue where user A can send and Email to user C using the email address of user B, using "Send From" under Message options. We would like to disable this scenario.
As per observation, this happens when user A and user b are member of the same group.
Any ideas?
Lyndon
Hi,
From your description, if user A and user B are in the same distribution group, then user A can send as user B, but if they are not in the same group, user A can't send as user B.
First please make sure user A doesn't have send as permissions for user B.
Besides, please create a new description group and add these two users to this group to check result.
Best regards,
Belinda Ma

How to disable send or collect signatures?
I am using the Customization Wizard XI to customize our Adobe Reader package. Under the "Fill & Sign" options, we want "Fill & Sign Tools" enabled, but "Send or Collect Signatures" disabled. These options are linked together through the online services even though the Fill & Sign Tools aren't powered through EchoSign.
Is there any way to disable "Send or Collect Signatures" but keeping "Fill & Sign Tools"? The only way I have found is to disable Online Services, but this also disables the the "Fill & Sign Tools"? We also like to remove "Get Documents Signed" on the welcome screen, but I can get around that by removing it altogether if need be.
This issue is referenced here, but not answered. Disabling "Adobe Online Services" on Reader XI no longer removes them from the welcome screenSpence,

How can I disable sending from one Mail account?
Hello. I have a gmail account that I use to subscribe to various newsletters and accounts. So it's essentially a read-only account for me. But I too frequently accidently send mail from that account. Is there a way to prevent mail from being sent from that account?
I want to do the same thing as the OP. I have tried making outgoing server none. And checking "always use this server so it prompts me to edit the message so that I manually select a different address to send from inthe drop down list. And selecting a different account for composing. Actually, all my outgoing emails keep coming from the one account I am attempting to disable. Got any other ideas?

Disable "Send Data File" prompt
When I open the pdf created in LiveCycle Designer 7.1 and click on "Submit to Email" it prompts me for what type of email app I use. It then presents the "Send Data File" prompt. The options are "Send Data File" "Print Form" and "Cancel." It also has a "Don't show again" checkbox.
Is there a way to disable this prompt? For example after the user clicks on their email app it would simply open the email with the data file as an attachment.
I'm afraid that my people may click on "Print Form" instead of "Send Data File" or they might click "Cancel". I just want to ensure this is as easy as possible for them to complete.
Does anyone know if it's possible to disable the "Send Data File" prompt and automatically open an email and attach the data file?Amrit,
I apologize for taking so long to respond to your question. It took me a while to locate someone on the Acrobat Team who could answer my questions.
It's a good thing you asked about this because it turns out that this behaviour will no longer occur as of the next release of Acrobat. In the next release, if the call to submit a form's data via email comes from an Acrobat
Action, the "Choose your email application" dialog will always be displayed (unless the user has already clicked on the "don't show this again" check box which you can't control programmatically). If, however, the call to submit the form's data comes from JavaScript, the dialog won't be displayed. Instead, Acrobat will use the system's default email application (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) to do the submission.
Unfortunately, clicking on a button with the mouse or the keyboard (by setting focus to it and hitting the Enter key) as well as firing a button's Click event with execEvent("click"), as I had previously suggested, will all be considered Acrobat
Actions and will therefore possibly show the unwanted "Choose your email application" dialog.
In order to get around this, we need a solution which always uses JavaScript to do the submission. Fortunately, we can use the Acrobat Document object's
submitForm method to do this, thereby ensuring that the unwanted dialog doesn't show-up in future versions of Acrobat. The only potential problem with this solution is that it'll only work if the form is rendered to PDF. If the form is rendered to HTML (using
Adobe LiveCycle Forms, for example), this method will not work because Acrobat won't be involved in hosting the form.
The trick is to use the
event.target object in a regular button's Click event. This object is actually the Acrobat Document object. From there, you can use the
submitForm method as follows in order to achieve the same behaviour as that of Designer's email submit button (in JavaScript):
var sEmailAddress = "[email protected]";
var sSubject = "This is an email";
event.target.submitForm
cURL: "mailto:" + sEmailAddress + "?subject=" + sSubject,
cSubmitAs: "XML",
I've attached a sample form which uses this JavaScript to submit its data via email. Give it a try to see how it works.

How to disable sender images in Gmail app?
Hi all,
The recent update made a change in the Gmail app where it'll display an image for the sender in the main window. If you don't have an image for the sender (which is 100% the case for me), it displays the first letter of the sender's name in a big colored box.
A quick Google search shows there's a way of disabling this through the settings: http://www.androidcentral.com/how-turn-and-contact-images-new-gmail
However, the Gmail app on my Verizon Galaxy S3 doesn't have the "three dots" icon which opens the menu. Was this something Verizon removed for some reason? Any hints on how to turn off the big colored boxes? I find them annoying and they take up space for no reason.
Thanks, RichThe three dots is the overflow menu. The Galaxy S3 has a menu button. Overflow menu (three dots) equals menu button. >Comment deleted<

How to disable sending email to manager while deletion of my site in SharePoint 2013?
I believe there is a cleaning job is for disabled and employee who are left i want to disable the alert which is sending to their manager for the deletion of the site that site will be deleted in 3 days. How can we disable this email alert.
The job you are looking for is called the MySite Cleanup Job. It is a timer job, so you can disable the whole thing. But that would disable processing of MySites for deleted users entirely, not just the email alert. Unfortunately, there
is no way to disable just the alert. So you either need to disable the whole timer job or let the alert be sent.
Also, just to clarify. By default the timer job deletes mysites after 14 days (not 3) and only does this for users missing from a profile import ( which is normally only users deleted from AD not user disabled in AD). You can filter out disabled
users also, but it requires adding a filter to the profile import connection.

Disable Send Connector BareLinefeedRejection
Hi,
Is it possible to disable BareLinefeedRejection for the Send Connector. similar to BareLinefeedRejectionEnabled for Receive Connectors?
We sometimes receive emails with bare line feeds, but these emails are rejected by the send connector used for journalling.Hi,
Base on my knowledge, it is impossible to edit bare line feed on send connector.
It's by design that Exchange 2010 send connectors do NOT allow messages containing bare linefeeds to pass through.Bare line feeds aren’t allowed in SMTP communications. Although it may be possible for a message containing a bare line feed to be delivered
successfully, such messages don't adhere to the SMTP protocol standards and may cause problems with messaging servers.
Here is a similar thread for your reference:

UC320 - how to disable send ext. as Clid
Hi,
I hope, someone can help me:
I have installed a UC320w, use 1 Sip-Client and calling in and out is no problem, but I cannot manage to disable, that outgoing calls send the CLID Extension with them;
I have tried to manage it with the inbound rules, but even if I disable the checkbox (use 12345601 as calling line id) the extension is sent.
Any idea, how to disable this?
thanks.Hi Mario,
we don't have a phone setting to block it. One workaround would be to have your incoming trunk (FXO or SIP) configured by your provider not to deliver caller ID.However using star code, outgoing clid was able to block succesfully.
Please try the following steps.
From SPA phone go off hook and enter *81. You should hear confirmation tone.
Then dial 8 or 9 to select your trunk and enter the called party number.
Thanks,

Disable sending HTML-Form when pressing Enter from Web Transaction
Hi,
I have a web transaction and the corresponding HTML Template.
In the template I have a form with input fields and a submit button.
<FORM METHOD="post" ACTION="`wgateurl()`">
<TD><INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="GWA_HEAD-PROFIT_CENTER" VALUE="`GWA_HEAD-PROFIT_CENTER`></TD>
<TD><INPUT TYPE="submit" NAME="~okcode=APPR" VALUE="`#approve`"></TD>
</FORM>
My problem:
When entering a value in the input fields and pressing enter the form is submitted.
Is it possible to disable this way of submitting? I wan't only submit when clicking on the submit button.
Could Javascript be a solution? But I don't want to check if all input fields are filled with onSubmit. Is there another way?
Thanks for your help!Hi Chris,
your link is not available now.
Could you please explain how to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Security Update disables SEND and REPLY
This haunting problem as come back after 6 months. And it because I finally decided to install the latest security update. Mail was down for days for trashing files, reinstalling, all this crap to get it working again after the Security update. This *****.
My send and reply buttons stopped working EXACTLY after I installed the new security update. I am ******!!
Why do the Security updates do this?
Anyone know an EASY fix? This particular problem in Mail is usually caused by some LaunchServices cache corruption. The following article describes how to manually reset LaunchServices. The notes at the bottom of the article also provide information about the side effects of deleting each of the files involved.
Resetting Launch Services
The following article also describes the side effects of cache cleaning:
Side effects of System cache cleaning
The following article provides links to some utilities that can be used for troubleshooting and cache cleaning:
Resolving Disk, Permission, and Cache Corruption
It seems that the most appropriate utility for solving this particular problem is Tiger Cache Cleaner.
In addition to the utilities mentioned above, you may also consider OnyX, if for no other reason, because it's free. If you want to try OnyX, after installing it, do this (be sure to read the articles about the side effects of cache cleaning first):
1. Quit all applications.
2. Launch OnyX and enter your administrator password.
3. Click Maintenance. In the Reset section, check LaunchServices database.
4. You may uncheck any other pre-checked options if you've already done them using other utilities.
5. Click the Execute button.
If that doesn't solve the problem, you may try again checking the Links between documents and applications option in step 3 instead.
And yet another free cache cleaning utility is Cache Out X.
Please, let me know whether you were able to solve the problem, what worked for you and what didn't. -

Hello John,
The thing is that my question is not to solve this specific error, but to configure sap not to use syslog
and to use only its logs.
How can I do so?
Thanks in advance for your answer. -
Can I prevent iMessage sending pictures as a costly text message?
Hi, when I send a picture message to someone with an iPhone 4s who doesn't have wi fi on, the message goes as a text message. This is fine for normal text messages but pictures are expensive to send. Is there any way to set it so it sends normal text messages if the receiver has no wi fi but never sends picture messages as text? Thanks
No. Sorry. You can disable send as SMS, which should prevent it from sending anything at all if the receiver has iMessage disabled or has no data connection.

Sending all e-mails out of the draft-folder
Is it possible so send all e-mails in the draftfolders at once? I know is possible with an AVB but do I have to use it also for outlook 2010.
thank uHi,
Just as our MVP mentioned, it's not possible to send all email in a folder at once. However, there are some workarounds. For example, we can disable “Send immediately when connected”. To do this, open your Outlook and go to File > Options > Advanced
> Scroll down to the "Send and receive" section. Clear the check box before "Send immediately when connected". Now, all sent items will stay in Outbox and Outlook will
only send messages during the scheduled send/receive interval (for instance, every 30 minutes).
For more information, please refer:

Hope this helps.
