Hi all,
I want Disable Serial Number field in MIGO Screen how do i disable ?
is there any user exit or enhancement ?

Apply Transaction Variant and Screen Variant through transaction SHD0 for MIGO. Hope it will solve your problem.
Otherwise, discuss this requirement with MM Functional Consultant. In SPRO, it may have some setting to make it display...

Hello,
I'm looking at the same problem here. I found the table SER03 in which you can enter the the material document. This returns 1 line in this table and from this one you need the OBKNR element
You can copy this data and paste it into table OBJK element OBKNR and this returns all serialnumbers for the relevant material document.
My problem is that i can't get these items on the sapscript. (WESCHEINVERS 1,2 or 3)

Serial Number Input on VL01N screen

Hi,
I am facing the following issue on the VL01n screen, when serial number is input for the material using a bar code scanner.
The problem is, it accepts just one serial number for the material and then closes the screen. The requirement is that if there is more than one material in VL01n and if the serial number is input, then instead of closing the window, it should go to the next serial number field.
For example, if there are 3 materials in delivery, the serial number is getting fed for the first material and then the serial number window closes out. Is there any way by which the closure of this window is avoided until the serial number is fed for all 3 materials.
Your help will be highly appreciated.

I'm from Brazil and I had a similar problem. I bought an iPhone 4s directely from Online Apple Store here in my country, and everything was ok until then (serial numbers did match). About five months later I had this problem with the power button and I went to an authorized center and claimed for another device. The service was really fast and good.. in about 3 days I had I my new device (that they gave me wrapped in plastic and out of any box ... but it looked brand new.... is that normal?) . I just took my phone e came home satisfied.
Six months later (still under warranty) my wi-fi just stopped working from day to night. I came back to the same authorized a claimed for another phone and got really surprised when the attendant said "The serial number that is on your phone does not match with the number here in our system" (they had two serial numbers in their system: my first iPhone and the one replaced.. the second was suposed to match, but it didn't) . I told him that this was impossible, cause I didn't leave my phone to any repair or switched to anybody, and explained what happend before. If there was a mistake, it was their mistake .. Nobody checks serial number when receving a new phone (from now on, I will). They probably gave the phone that I was suposed to recieve to another person and I recieved another one, or there was a labeling problem at the factory. When I said that I heard " This is impossible, sir". The fact is that makes me wonder about this new phones that they replace us, are the really new ? But this is as discussion for another topic. How that particular iPhone was with me was a mistery for them and they took it for investigating my problem.
However, now since 14/05/2013 I'm without my iPhone and they are still trying to solve my problem.

I want Serial number field and table,
Scenario like this,for returnable packging material we have assigned serial numbers,mtrl type is LEIH,so for tracking of RTP material now we are going to Develop one Report for this i need ur Help.
Logic is:1)Matrl doc at the time of Delievery.
            Qty,Posting Date,Customer,Mvt type,Serial numbers for all.
             Beacause at the time of Del we are mentioned all serial numbrs.
            2)Material Document at the time of GI.
            Same field as mentioned as above.
After that,3)System is to Calculate How many Matrl are deliever to Custmer upto current Period.Say 10.
4)Calculte How many Matrl are Recieved from the Custmer upto current period.say 5
5)Del - Issue=Total Number of Material is in Customer side.Say 5
6)According to the Serial Number wise system has to calculate in which month delieverred matrl is in still customer side.
(Ex PGI date 20.02.2007 3 qty
Serial Number    1,2,3
Issue date    20.03.2007   2 qty
Serial Number    2,3
Serial number 1 still is in Customer side.
Age is 2 month)
I am giving simple ex.
so pls any body is having this idea pls Shared with me.

Hi Raghu,
Check table SER01(Document Header for Serial Numbers for Delivery).
OBJK is the object table and you will have SERNR as serial number in this table.
check table EQUI
                      EQUI -SERGE
                      EQUI-GERNR.
EQUI-SERGE is Manufacturer serial number.chk if this is the one u r looking for.
MARC-SERNP.
key in plant and material in this table to fetch the Serial number profile of the material.
Check in IKPF AND ISEG Tables... ( inventory )
MSEG~EQUNR

Deactivate Serial Number Generation in MIGO

Hi,
In MIGO,Serail number generation is made mandatory through Create serial no.s automatically checkbox in serial number tab.The process is such that the user will Check and then Post.So while pressing the Check button,internally serail numbers are generated and while posting the serial numbers are generated skipping the generated numbers in Check.ex.while checking 001 and 002 are internally generated and aftr Post if we check in IQ03 we get 003 and 004;ie 001 and 002 are skiiped.
Can anybody suggest how to avoid serial number generation while Check?

Serial Number Problem in MIGO

Hi,
I am using externally created serial numbers and creating an Equipment for them.
At the time of GR of finished product, I am assigning these Serial Numbers to Material in MIGO. When I list the serial numbers in MIGO for selection, system is giving a list but this list consist of Serial Numbers which are already delivered to customer through SD. Serial Numbers delivered to Customer are having system status "ECUS".
My requirement is that system should not list Serial Numbers which are already delivered to Customer.
Moreover if at the time of creation of Serial Number, Plant Code is assigned in the "Stock Data" of Serial Number then system should not allowed it to be assigned to delivery created for some other plant.
I checked all settings for Serial Numbers but could not find any setting for this.

now say that ur code is in
there are 10 entries.
loop.
w_count = w_count + 1.
endloop.
will give me the w_count = 10 okay .
now in here if i say
if w_count > 2.
do scrolling .
w_count = w_count -1 .
endif .
after the two items are filled the page is scrolled ..
here u can see the scroll bar moving down
so third and fourth upto ten will be placed in the cursor position of (2) thats what this logic does ..

and u 'll see that the items will be filling up only at cursor two ..

SERIAL number field to be identified for a delivery.

Hi Experts ,
I need your help for following.
I need technical detail (Table-fieldname) for serial number , when a goods issue for serialised item is done.The same can be seen in VL02n =>Extras=>Serial Numbers.
SERNR field is there in lips table but it is blank for the delivery number.Please let me know how can i find the serial number for a particular movemnt type and delivery.

Hello,
First check your customization of Serial number for delivery, whether this is maintained or not.and if it is maintained then check last number.
use tcode SNRO.
there also you can simply find out the field by pressing F1 on related field.

How to Put Serial Number in "UUT Information" Screen

Hi guys!
I'm reading the Serial Number using a Cemera and a 2D code on Units, and I would like to put the serial number in the corresponding box of "UUT Information".
At this time I'm puting the serial number on Report using "RunState.Caller.Locals.UUT.SerialNumber".
I need to keep the "UUT information" screen on front.

When I click "Next UUT" (without a serial number on the box), I'm reading the serial number using Camera and LabView signal procesing, I would like to write the readed serial number to UUT information Box...
It's any way to do that without modify and overide the PreUUT?

Corporate version, but every visitor can see it. Bad.

This goes along the same lines as this issue.
I would recommend you submit an idea to not show the activation code on the startup and about screens. I agree it is sufficient to show these only in the license manager.
I always struck me as odd to show the number on the startup screen. It is not needed there.
In the meantime, you might want to startup LabVIEW before the visitors arrive or before you hook up the projector and start the presentation.

Exit/Badi for Serial number generation in MIGO

Dear ALL,
Requirement: Based on the serial number profile i will maintian the number range in custom table and on doing MIGO system will find the serail number profile thorugh material and based on that system should generate the serial number automatically.
Advise for the user exit /badi ... I have checked some exit starting with IQ.... .
Please provide the exact badi or exit for this purpose.

You can see the local class lcl_migo_globals used in include LMIGOGL1 which inturn has a variable
called kernel with reference to class lcl_migo_kernel. Serial number selection in migo

Hi all,
I need to exclude from/(evidentiate in) MIGO, all serial numbers which I've already selected previosly to let them have a good mvement for ex. 101 or 321 in MIGO.
I'd like to do that, as I can have a big production order, also for 100 or 200 units, and everytime I must select only a little group/number of finished products (5 or 6 a day) from the whole list of serial numbers..
Is there a way to distinguish the serial number already moved?!

It is not possible to remove the serial numbers for existing stock. you need to maintain serial numbers.
If you do not want to maintain serial numbers remove the serial number profile in the material master.
So new stock of material wont ask serial numbers at the time of MIGO

Is it possible to enter serial number during Goods receipt against a purchase order?
Say i create PO for 10 Computers and each of them have a serial number. And while doing Goods receipt against a purchase order is there a field for serial numbers to be entered. If so what kind settings to be done.

Serial no can be used for the following business transactions.
   1. Goods Receipt/Goods isssue and other inventory postings.
   2.sales orders and delivery notes
   3.maintenance orders
   4.production orders.
Settings:
1. create a serial number profile in customising.
2. Assign the serial number profile in the material master record in work
     scheduling view for fert and raw material check the other views.
Business procedures may be assigned in configuration to a serial number profile.
The assignment to the serial number profile determines if serial numbers are required , can be assigned, must be assigned,are assigned automatically
MMSL : Goods issue , receipts,stockj transfers,stock transport orders

Serial number field is grayed out when re-installing

On a once working system(NT), I started getting "can't start NI488" errors... in event viewer I see that "GPIB Device class driver depends on GPIB board class - not found" and another similar event error that states "GPIB class driver requires port group - not started". I have un-installed and re-installed the software and board several times with no effect. I suspect the problem is that during the install process when it comes time to "configure" the board, the serial number drop-down box is grayed out and cannot be accessed. I have verifed the PNP setting are "off" in the BIOS as noted in the one related article I found in the knowledge base.
Any other thoughts would be most appreciated.

I'm a little bit stumped too. Be sure that NI-488.2 is at least version 1.60 (I'm not sure,but I think that's the one on your CD), otherwise download it from our website.
Things you can try (again).
1. Remove all PCI boards you have.
2. Remove NI-488.2 under Add/remove programs
3. Clean the registry with a "registry cleaner". Don't forget to make a backup of the registry first.
4. Clean the registry by hand. Search for GPIB entries and delete them.
5. Install again the GPIB driver.
6. Configure the board.
Hopefully that works, otherwise you have to think about the last step. ---> Install NT again. Unfortunately without guarantee that this will help.
