Disable XL Reporter in 2007

Hi
Please can you tell me if it is possible to switch off XL Reporter in 2007? I know it is integrated with 2007 and therefore can't turn it off as could have been done with 2005, however, I would like to know if there is a solution to not have it running at all in SBO 2007.

The message box don't work on the web because it is of windowform box. Based on your further description, you might want to do the date parameter validation. If so, there is common way to do this:(assume the date parameter value inputed can't be less than 2007)
1) Intert a textbox and input the message used to show the end users if they input a invalidated date value for the parameter, and then set the textbox's hidden property to =iif(Year(Parameters!myPrameter.value) < 2007,false, true)
2) Insert a Rectangle control below the textbox created in step 1, and put all report items in it and set the Rectangle's hidden property to =IIF(Year(Parameters!myParameter.value)<2007,true,false)
After these, if the end users input the date value can meet the project requirement, the report will show the data the end users want, otherwise, the end users will see the error textbox to tell them the parameter value is incorrect.

Assets reports can be run as at month-end date (not any date). Therefore check whether 31.10.07 is the month-end date for Oct.

Xl reporter for 2007 authorization error

Hi All,
we are working on SAP Business One 2007 B (8.60.034) SP: 00 PL: 07. the XL reporter comes with the release of the core product. I was facing the error of 'User authentication failed' and came to know that it was because the system was upgraded from SAP 2005 to 2007 version and could not recognize old standalone version of XLR being present. the proposed workaround was:
1) To update the XRDBV's column 'Partner' from SAP to SBOOEM. this was done.
2) I even deleted the installation node of XL reporter addon from 'AddOnsInstall.sbo'
3) I have deleted XLR folder from addons.
Now, to install it again, do have to install/repair the 2007 B entirely again or there is still some workaround to get the ard of XL reporter for 2007 version? Am I missing any steps?

How to disable Oracle Reports showjobs listing?

Hello all,
I need to disable the report server showjob listing of executed reports, with OAS 10.1.2.
With OAS 9.0.4 I could specify maxqueuesize parameter at 0, so no report would be listed in showjobs page.
In OAS 10.1.2 the minimum value is 1, so the last report executed is still listed.

Interactive report - unable to disable save report option

Hi,
I am using an interactive report and unable to disable "Save Report" option... Although the option is unchecked under "Include in Actions Menu" section... Others' are working fine, I just can't disable "Save Report" option...

When you are logged in as both a Developer and End User, you will ALWAYS see the Save button, even if it is disabled. This is so that you can save the Defaults for an IR. Thus, if you click on the save option, you should only see one item - Save Report Defaults. You will not be able to save a custom report.
Your end-users are not logged in as developers, and thus, won't see any save icon at all. In fact - if you log out of APEX and run just your application, neither will you.

How do I disable crash reporter during install?

I put this line "pref("datareporting.healthreport.uploadEnabled", false);" into the mozilla.cfg file to disable health reports. I'm looking to disable the crash reporter as well during install as default.

Specifying the report server, disabling the reports background engine.

When calling a report from a form, where the desname, destype, deformat is chosen, how do i specify the report server? Also when i run the form and call the report from a button how do I disable the report background engine?

Disable a report link if no data found.

I have a link from my portal report on a field. I want to disable the link if no data will be found. How do I do this.

Hey Rich,
Using Portal links are easy but at times they can be very limiting. You actually have to go one step backwards and create the link yourself in the SQL statement. You would call a function in the sql statement to produce the link.
SELECT

display_link_update is the function call and I'm passing one variable, asset_seq. Now the function can do the link creation.

I have to install the SSRS in SP 2013.
Database ( SQL Server 2012 SP1) and SP 2013 servers are separate.
Installed SSRS in DB server (Integration mode).
Installed ADD-IN for SSRS in SP2013 server.
I have followed all the steps mentioned by microsoft.
But , I stuckup as below, SSRS service in sharepoint does not get started.It is showing disabled.

We never received a usage report for the week of 2007-04-08. I checked our site preferences and the email address was not been changed. Did this report not get sent out or did we (odu.edu) just not receive it?

How to add results to report from sequence call disabled in report options ?

Hello,
I need to add text to report from a sequence called by a sequence call. The record results option for the sequence call is disabled because the sequence call is normally done thousands of times. Therefore, I don't want to fill in useless text in the report. But, if a certain condition in called sequence fulfills, I would put a text into the report. (Yes, this is related to a sporadic communication problem with the instrument which I want to record into the report.) Which options I have ?
I have attached an example which doesn't add the text from the sequence to the report.

I encounter same behaviour with NONE adapter action step with post-expression as with a statement step as in my first example. With other words, if record results in sequence call in mainsequence is disabled, I cannot get any records into the report.
Attached a modified sequence using NONE adapter action.

Confirm button disabled for Reporter in Solman 7.1 SP10, Incident managment

we are using CRM_UI for Incident managment. When the ticket is in status "Proposed Solution" , Reporter is not able to confirm the ticket, "Confirm" button is disabled. How to enable this button?

How to dynamically disable interactive report filed in master detail page

I am using APEX 4.0 & very new to APEX. I am not able to make disable a filed in detail region (which is a interactive report) of a master detail Page.
I.e. want to disable field of a row based on value of another field for same record, just like set_item_instance_property of oracle forms. Please help me out.
