Disabled veteran belittled due to reduction in discount

Went to store #347 to purchase home theater system. Saw open box TV, model LC-60UQ17U, marked down by 50%. As I was finishing the purchase, they informed me they would only mark it down by 20%. I asked why they were changing the discounted price. The sales person started belittling me in front of other customers and his staff. As a disabled veteran, I felt as if I were being treated as trash. I'm a 50 year old gentleman, but I walked out that store crying. I still can't believe what that man did to me and how he made me feel. You can trust that it will never happen to me again. I've already contacted both local TV stations to let them know how a disabled veteran was treated in your store.
I could go into more detail, but I'm too upset and hurting too much from my disability.

I am truly sorry to hear that not only were you not able to get the TV at that price, but also that our sales associate may have chosen to handle your questions in an unprofessional manner.
Certainly, we expect our sales associates to treat all customers in the same professional and courteous manner. Discount for disabled veterans

I followed all the necessary steps to apply for a discount as I am also a disabled veteran. Took my VA identification card into the store and had it verified back on 7/28/2014. Waited several billing cycles for the discount to show up but it never did. Every time I call customer service about the issue I get told different things. Like my plan isn't eligible for the discount, or I'm told I'm eligible and to wait for it to show up. I just want this resolved and a straight answer. I feel like Verizon is just jerking my chain! Do I qualify for a discount yes or no? Don't advertise that you give a discount to military and to veterans if you don't actually do it. Well Verizon, ball is in your court. Gonna do right by a disabled war veteran or not?

Does anyone know if Apple or any other source offers purchasing discounts on iPhone and other Apple products/software for disabled veterans? I am 100% disabled Vietnam era vet on fixed income and searching for discounts where ever available. Thanks.

I have never heard of anybody offering any sort of discounts. You would be hard pressed to get much discounts from Apple products though.

Veterans are no longer getting a discount

I am very disappointed to find out that US Veterans are no longer getting a discount on our service plans. I can not believe that this is just another company who is no longer helping their veterans.

The point is BEYOND the "employee" part of the discount. The discount should be extended for years of loyalty. For telling friends and coworkers about Verizon and what a great company it is and give a wholehearted personal recommendation. Word of mouth recommendations are worth far more to me that a company ad on TV. I expect it's that way for most people. But that won't happen if the company ignores the loyalty of it's customers and treats them in such a shabby fashion.

i have given a lock code but by mistake i have forgotten my code and tried to open it by using the wrong code.now the phone is being disabled.
it says "iphone is disabled connect to itunes" and when i connect it to itunes it says
"itunes could not connect to the iphone "named" because it bis locked with a passcode, you must enter the passcode on the iphone before it can be used with itunes.

Place your iPhone into what is called Recovery mode. If successful, this will require restoring your iPhone with iTunes. The Passcode Lock is not included with your iPhone's backup so you can restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.

Would like to disable password lockout if a user enters the wrong password too many times. Does anyone know how to set this up for portal user's?

In the UME config screen under "Security Policy" you can set the maximum number of failed logon attempts to 0.
Please note this is a portal setting. If you are attempting to authenticate to an LDAP or ABAP then it may have some extra rules.

I am using Firefox in Linux and when I click check for updates it says the Flash plugin is up to date.

Flash 11.2.202.425 is the current for Linux as 11.2.202.424 and earlier will give the message. The older Flash is not disabled completely but Click to play.

N5K err-disabled a port due to DCX-No ACK in 100 PDUs

I'm super new to Nexus, so I'm not really sure how to troubleshoot this. I did a quick search and found that this is related to DCBX TLVs in LLDP, which we apparently shouldn't be getting on a regular ethernet port. I'm pretty sure this is just a regular ethernet port. (Like I said, I'm pretty new to nexus. lol) I wonder if the following output indicates that we are receiving and sending DCBX TLVs in LLDP. If so, it sounds like the interface will go into err-disable state if the server stops sending ACK frames.

Per the display it the Server Adapter is doing LLDP DCBX negotiation.
If not needed, then you might want to check the Server adapter settings.
DCBX is an extension of LLDP link layer discovery protocol; not restricted for FCOE usage.

You told Apple that your account was compromised and people were using it to purchase things you didn't authorize.
Why wouldn't they shut it down?

How do I permanently disable Detail (sharpening / noise reduction)?

I did this a while ago with the LR3 beta, but I forgot how I did it.
Anyway, I want to disable Detail (sharpening and noise reduction) in the right hand panel forever, so that when I import new pictures, it's disabled by default when I start developing them (so I don't have to disable it manually for each picture, which is very annoying). The reason is, I handle sharpening & n.r. as a separate step outside of LR (export as TIFF and then n.r. and sharpen).
Any hints please? I know it's simple, I just can't remember it.

I just deleted old Java updates and installed new Java updates from legit Java site. Same problem persists. When testing java at the java test page, it says it's not there, "missing plug ins". I open Mozilla add-ons and get this: Java (TM) Platform SE 7 U9 10.9.2.5 disabled due to incompatibility/security reasons. Java does not give any other files to download. What am I supposed to do? I'm having problems with my website ATM because of Java & tons of missing java internet problems.
