I wish to disable Acrobat Connect and PDFMaker 8.0 permanently in Word 2003. I've tried several things, but they Add-on keeps appearing. Can anyone help me, please?

I would like create a portlet into my liferay portal in order to logging in my Adobe Connect server department (connect.ct.infn.it).
In particular I would like that when users insert their own credentials into the portal, thanks the Single Sign-On, also the Adobe Connect portlet logs users into the specified server.
So my questions are:
1) Does Adobe Connect support OpenSSO? In particular I try to install OpenAM with Liferay and it works fine (http://www.objectpartners.com/2010/08/16/integrating-opensso-openam-with-liferay-portal-on -tomcat/).
2) Do you have other suggestions (different from the opensso) in order to create that kind of portlet?

Acrobat Connect is not a part of the base LSO 6.00 software delivery. It requires EhP2 to be installed (the Instructor Role is delivered in that EhP) and there is a separate licensing agreement for this version of the product. Your SAP Account Executive can get you details on the licensing.

You could just turn off wifi where you are getting the notice or in wifi settings uncheck ask to connect and you will not get notifications every time you wander in range of a new wireless system if you plan on leavin your wifi on

and there is no update availabe for my handset at the momentIt sounds like you are using an unsupported App like "Jailbreak" which technically voids the warranty on your iPhone. Your call on that.
If so, the app creates an "ad hoc" wireless network which the Airport Express cannot join or participate in. So, you cannot use both the AirPort Express and the "modem" function of your iPhone at the same time.
You should be able to turn the app off and log off the internet, and then setup another separate wireless network to run AirTunes, or AirPlay. But, you'll have to "switch" wireless networks to be able to do this and the network will of course not have access to the Internet.

Losing network connection and NIC acts weird from warm/hot weather/temperatures?

Is there a known issue on MSI P43 NEO3-F (MSI-7514) motherboards' onboard RealTek RTL8168C (P)/8111C(P) PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC network disconnecting and acting weird during warm/hot weather?
I noticed lately and back on 1/11/2009 night when weather got warm/hot (e.g., my room can get over 85F degrees, but lately it has been 80F degrees), my network would lose its connection. See http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/5580/screenshots.gif for a few SpeedFan's sensor readings when the incidents occurred. I have never seen this happen when the weather is cooler (60-70F degrees in my room).
I also think this only happens if I am using the PC lightly (nothing intensive) like watching fullscreen videos (video overlay), surfing the Web, etc. I don't see any errors or evidences that it happens when idled (e.g., asleep or out). Uptime doesn't seem to matter since I have seen days to 3.5 hours.
I tried upgrading network driver twice (e.g., Realtek_XP_5714_0219 from
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false ...), disabling Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.5 (XP's disabled already), releasing and renewing IP address (works, but still no network -- can't even ping my router!), unplugging and replugging the cat5 cable (do see the network port lights on), touching the network jack and hardware inside and outside of the case (not hot), trying another cat5 cable and a network port on a switch instead router's), changing from "Minimal Power Management" to full power (no underclocking/slowing down when idled), etc.

I also noticed the disconnections usually start with red X icon in my taskbar with its bubble and then later the long disconnection even though no red X (1 GB and connected). If I were to disconnect the cat5 cable from NIC, then it wouldn't even detect it is missing the cable!
The only way to fix this was to reboot (best way and last longer) OR disable network connection and re-enable it (Windows XP's Network Connections) or the NIC itself (Device Manager), but that doesn't always last long (maybe a minute). Example of my pings right after disabling and re-enabling NIC:

I will try 100 Mbps if it happens again. So far, it hasn't occurred after installing the driver supplied by MSI's Web site and not RealTek's Web site. The room temperatures even got warmer like 83F degrees.
As for router and switch, what am I checking for? Other computers didn't have any problems. As for cat5 cables, I already tried another one like I said in my original post. -
Acrobat 9 and Acrobat 6 co-installation?
I have perused the forum for this issue and have repeatedly...and sadly...learned that Office 2000 support is not available in Acrobat 9 PDFMaker.It also appears that there are no updates or plugins to fix this oversight. Therefore, I would like to know if it is possible for Acrobat 9 to co-exist with Acrobat 6 Standard (where the PDFMaker works in Office 2000) also installed? Can I have both versions of Acrobat installed?

conversion of selected text to clickable bookmarks isn't functional with
printing, as apposed to using the pdfmaker. I have installed Word 2003...as
Word is the only Office application from which I rely on the pdfmaker. I am
still using the other Office 2000 components as they were.
I am hoping that Adobe will come up with a "fix" for this, as lots of folks
are still using the older Office software. There's not a lot to gain in the
way of improvements to the functionality of the program in moving up to the
newer versions, vs the cost of upgrading. Office 2000 does everything I need
and want (which is one reason I didn't bother to install Office 2003
earlier, though I had that software around for a few years).
By the way, I wasn't able to install Acrobat 6 after 9; the installer
refused to "downgrade" to the earlier version. Going the other
direction...installing 6 first, then 9...the 9 installer uninstalls version
6 automatically...there is no option to keep the earlier version.

Acrobat 9 and 10 on the same computer with Office 2003
I am using windows xp. I currently have acrobat 9.x pro installed and PDFMaker is installed in my Office 2003 application...works great. I am considering upgrading from CS4 to CS 5.5 which includes Acrobat 10. I would like to know if I can install Acrobat 10 on the same machine as 9 and if so, will PDFMaker be available for each version in the Office 2003.

ChickHaving 2 versions of Acrobat together is possible (though not recommended), but you will have only one PDFMaker in Office 2003 - ie. from latest version of Acrobat. How to disable Spotify Connect
So, I have a question. How can I disable Spotify Connect??? Me and my brother share the same Spotify Premium account. But, the thing is, we can't listen to music at the same time, each of us on our respective iphone, cause whenever I choose a song on my iphone, his iphone stops playing his song. Even if we choose our devices on that Spotify Connect page. It just does not work. So, is there a way, any way, to disable this Spotify Connect? It's really bugging me.

Acrobat Connect Add-in 7.0 r455 has encountered a problem and needs to close
Maybe this should have been posted here instead of the
Acrobat Connect Professional forum? I guess i don't know the
different between the two products. :) We are running an Adobe
Connect Enterprise Server.

My support group is currently working with several end-users
of Adobe Connect Professional. These users are presenters and are
encountering an issue whenever they try to start their Camera and
Voice Pod. I've sent this up the chain towards Adobe on our end...
but figured I'd make a post on the forums here to see if anyone
else has been having this issue. I was able to find one mention of
the error on some site that was all in Spanish... but that site was
having timeout issues and I couldn't hack around them. (Plus my
knowledge of tech -spanish is very limited)
If the Acrobat Connect add-in is NOT installed on these
users' PCs then they are able to use the Camera and Voice Pod
without any issues. Once the Add-In is installed, however, as soon
as they click to activate the Camera and Voice Pod the add-in
crashes with the error "Acrobat Connect Add-in 7.0 r455 has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."
These users are using Windows XP, Windows 2000 SP4 and
Windows 200 Sp3... all are having the same problem. We've had them
try different microphones, different browsers... nothing seems to
affect this. Some other troubleshooting steps include
removing/reinstalling Flash, clean-boot in Windows XP, disabling
all security, and uninstalling/reinstalling the Add-in itself.
Any ideas / suggestions from anyone would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks!Was this problem resolved? I'd be keen to hear details of the fix please?

My iPod touch screen says it is disabled. Connect to iTunes. When I connect the device to the computer a window pops up and said that the iPod is locked and I need to enter the passcode on the iPod..... I can't get it to do anything. Any ideas?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

The phone was locked to AT&T .While trying to acees it an error message is popping up that Iphone is disable,Please connect to itunes.Well i downloaded a new version of itunes and while connecting it in recovery mode and tryuing to update it it is giving an error.i asked my sister to unlock the phone so i could use it on any network .she has applied for it and will get the code in one week. What should i do?? Please help.
Restore the device as new with an AT&T SIM card or wait until it is unlocked and restore as new with another carriers SIM.
