Disabling Auto Forward Option in Outlook 2007

Hello All,
i have Exchange Server 2007 and a client running MS Outlook 2007.
this client is a member of a ditribution group. when she sends and e-mail to this distribution group, Exchange sends her back the email she sent(as it should), but also two more emails which have on the top a message "This message was AutoForwarded".
in the "From" field it has her name and in the "To" field it has again her name.
there were some Rules in Outlook related to these Distribution Groups, which the client messed up with them yesterday and after that this issue occurs.
i have disabled and deleted all the Rules in Outlook, but with no effect.
Also i used her OWA to see if the Rules are there, or if there is any Rule in Out Of Office, but no Rules appear.
Also i started Outlook as: Run - Outlook.exe /cleanrules and Run - Outlook.exe /cleanclientrules. Same issue...
Strange is that it doesn't happen with all Distribution Groups, but only with the ones that had Rules applied to them by the client.
From the Exchange side now, the option for Forwarding emails to another account is disabled.
Also there are no Transport Rules in Hub Transport related to this client or to affected Distribution Groups.
Any help would be appreciated

Please try to use the MFCMAPI tool to check if there are corrupted and hidden rules in the user's mailbox. To do this, please refer:

In addition, we can also try to create a new mail profile in Control Panel to test the issue. See:

To customize Instant Search options by using Group Policy
- In Group Policy, load the Office Outlook 2007 template (Outlk12.adm).
- To customize how results are displayed, under
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Microsoft Office Outlook 2007\Tools | Options\Preferences\Search Options, double-click the setting that you want to set. For example, double-click Turn off wordwheel.
- Click Enabled. For hit highlighting color, choose a color from the Background Color drop-down list.
- Click OK.

In addition, perform below steps to edit the registry key and check.
Step 1: Open the Registry Editor application.
Step 2: In the Registry Editor, click the Edit menu and select Find. Type PreventIndexingOutlook in the search field and click Find Next.
Step 3: Right click PreventIndexingOutlook and select Modify. Change its Value data to
0 and click OK.
Step 4: Search again by clicking the Edit menu and select Find. Type SetupCompletedSuccessfully in the search field and click Find Next. Locate this key.
Step 5: Right click the SetupCompletedSuccessfully key and select Modify. Change its Value Data to 0 and click OK.
Step 6: Restart your computer and you will now be able to perform advanced searches in Microsoft Outlook.

Disabling Auto-Login Option

How do we disable Auto-Login option in OBPM 10GR3 because I get the following error:-
You have the autologin option enabled and the session for this execution has expired .

So nobody else has been bitten by this stupid bug?
Anyway, it happens on a pure VGA console too, so it has nothing to do with the video driver. And I take back the “more of an inconvenience” part – it is freaking annoying that one can not just properly change the runlevel. Oh well…

Auto forwarding option for a substitute

Hi ,
Can somebody help me the workflow automatic forwarding option works with substitutes.
USER A is a substitute for for USER B and both users are setup for automatic forwarding
to external outlook e-mail address.
When a workitem sent to USER B , it showed up in USER A inbox.
But the external e-mail sent to only main user ( USER B ) , but not the substitution.
Anybody has a clue about auto forwarding works with substitute ?

Outlook/ Substitute setup is working fine ..
both main user and substitute are maintained with external e-mail address and autoforwarding option.
Only main user is receiving e-mail. Substitute is receiving the work item in his inbox..but not outlook mail..
If Is end a work item directly to substitute , he gets the outlook e-mail.

Auto complete option in CRM 2007 Web Client

Dear Experts,
Like how we open certain web pages and find the user name automatically apprearing (auto complete option) when you enter the first letter. This option can be enabled by doing the settings in Internet explorer tools - content - autocomplete option.
Similarly the client requires autocomplete option to be enabled for CRM 2007 Webclient. Though we have enabled autocomplete settings briefed above, its not working in webclient.
Can you please let me know the procedure to get the autocomplete option of previous entries as a drop down while trying to create /reenter the data.

Reply/Forward Arrows in Outlook 2007

Hi All,
One of my users is running using an iPhone 4 in conjunction with Exchange 2007 + Outlook 2007.
If he replies or forwards and email from the iPhone he does not the little reply arrow or forward arrow does not appear in Outlook.
Is this a known issue, or even better is there a fix?

Has anyone found a solution for this? I wonder if Exchange 2010 really makes a difference. I have seen poste from people using Exchange 2010 & still same problem. If I reply on my iphone 4s, no reply or forward arrows show up in Outlook.

Disabling Auto-Load option on Context Window

Greetings to everyone,
I have a request for something we have been working on for the school district I work for and we are currently at an impass on this matter. We have a restricted account for students to use. One problem we are running into is that students will tell the program to "Open at Login" on the computers. I would like to know if there is a way to disable this option on the cotext window for items on the dock.

Thanks, locking the file loginwindow.plist did the ticket for me. I had been struggling with this for a while and did not notice that the file there would be the one that was being opened. I do not have a com.apple.loginwindows.plist but there was one without the com.apple part at the bottom which did the trick for me.

if you want to perform substitue for your inbox....
Then you can go to SBWP->Settings->Workflow Settings ->Maintain Substitute.
If you want to perfoem substitute on behalf of another user
Then you can enter the user id in the below program and you can maintain substitute..

In iTunes Preferences (CTRL+,) go to the Devices tab and check Prevent iPods, iPhones, ans iPads from syncing automatically

Disabling FORWARD option in UWL

We are on SRM 7.1
Is there a way to disable the "FORWARD" option in UWL completely?
Do I need to modify the iview property or change something else in UWL in Portal?

If you are not supposed to ever forward a task to another user, I would change the task properties in the backend system. If you know the task ID, you can open it in transaction PFTC. Then from the menu you will find a possibility to maintain the agent assignment of the task. Now I don't have an access to a system from which I could check the menu path, but if you search in SDN about how to set a task as a "general task", you should be able to find the correct path in some thread. The "Forwarding not possible" setting can be set up at the same place as where the task can be set as "general task" (=whoever can complete the task and it can be forwarded to anyone). I could perhaps check the menu path tomorrow, if you are not able to find it.
If you need to know the how to configure the item type in UWL (you don't need to do this, if you do the above), you need to e familiar about UWL configuration in general before you can do this. I would suggest that you try the above solution, before trying to do UWL configuration unless there is a specific reason for it (for example you need to be able to forward the task in backend but not in UWL).

Exchange 2003, Outlook 2007 and Free/Busy options

We are using Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2007 our Free/Busy options are not showing up, is the a copatibility issue between the two?

As per the information and details provided by you, to set an auto-forward in Outlook, please follow these steps: -
In Outlook,
File > Rules and Alerts.
From
Email-Rules > New Rules.
Under
Start from a template or from a blank rule, select Check messages when they arrive and click
Next.
You will get a message that says
“This rule will be applied to every message you receive. Is this correct? Select Yes.
Check
forward it to people or distribution list. In the lower pane, click the
people or distribution list or people or public group link.
This will open the
Rule Address windows. You can also just type the full email address in the
“To” field. Select OK and Next when done.
The box to setup exceptions appears. Select any exceptions you would like to apply to this rule and select
Next.
Under
Specify a name for this rule, give your rule a name. Check the box for
Turn on this rule if you would like Outlook to start forwarding messages now. Check
Run this rule now on messages already in Inbox if you would like Outlook to forward everything that is already in your Inbox. Click
Finish and you are done.

IMS 5.2 Auto forwarding

We are an ISP,usinng IMS 5.2 patch 1.We are using the Auto-forwarding option for some Users.Whats happening is our domain is abc.com
If external mails(yahoo or rediff) are sent to particular uid say [email protected], forwarding works for that ID within abc.com
rediff/yahoo account ------->[email protected] ----->forwards mail to [email protected]
If the forwarded address is [email protected] or [email protected] and if any mail is sent to that forwarded address from yahoo/Rediff, mail is not getting delivered.

Outlook 2007 won't auto refresh the internet calendar

HI,
I subscribed a web ical with the instruction (File > Account Settings and then the Internet Calendars
Tab, then click New and enter the path)
for outlook 2007:
the new calendar could display all the events correctly after set up, but it won't update the new event anymore automatically. even I close and re-open the outlook, it still not update, the last update time is the time when set up this calendar.
for outlook 2010, i tested, it can auto update the internet calendar when open the outlook everytime.
is this the problem with outlook 2007?
(I don't want user to press F9 to refresh everytime)
and i also tried to add X-PUBLISHED-TT property in the iCal file and it seems not working also

issue then you should go for some kind of auto refresh plug-in or Add-in. After a bit search on Google, I found some of them called
“Zoho” and “Vtiger”.
As I am not much sure about this Add-in, you have to read about
