Disabling Developer Toobar

Hi,
Being frustrated with slow gmail loading on Safari 4, I google for a fix and found this:
+*If you’re using Safari 4 and you also have the developer toolbar turned on, turn it off*.+
+Similar to Firebug a few versions back, when you enable resource tracking it’s for all websites which is no good for Gmail or other sites that are noisy with the ajax requests.+
+The latest webkit version allows you to turn of resource tracking and any other developer tabs by website.+
That sounds logical true, I've seem google notification that requested to turn-off some Firebug features.
I'd like to know how developer toolbar (Web Inspector?) can be disabled on Safari.

HI,
From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Select the Advanced tab.
Deselect: Show Develop menu in menu bar.

Develop toobar problems

I have used LR 1.4 and just switched to LR 2 and I can't get my tool bar in LR2 to show the same tools as it did in LR 1.4. I searched the FAQ and this forum and didn't find anybody else with this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Steve, I don't know if this is the issue, but the first time I ran LR2 on my laptop and switched from full screen with the local adjustment brush selected (it's the same with the graduated filter tool), I was baffled to find that I couldn't access all the standard develop controls. It turned out they were completely off the screen (you can't scroll with the wheel in that situation, either). When I disabled the active tool by clicking on it again, they came back up to where I could scroll them.

Cannot disable Developer Menu in Safari. No option in Preferences/Advanced

The option has vanished. This option really interferes with 1Passwd's fill shortcut (⌘-\) instead loading Page Load Test. (really annoying)

Have you tried updating to 3.1.2? It's included as part of the 10.5.4 Combo Update.
You could also quit Safari and use this Terminal command to turn it off:
defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeDevelopMenu -bool false

Develop mode disabled despite having an active CC account!

All my other apps work fine and I have otherwise full access to my account. Lightroom does not seem to recognise my CC account and keeps asking me to re-activate my membership and disables Develop mode.
I have tried logging out and and logging back in, and also reinstalling Lightroom, to no avail.
It has been a week now, please help.

I have the exact same problem, 2 months into my 1 year subscription and its now disabled with -0- explanation or fix. what the hek adobe? This is beyond frusturating, I have work on hold now because of this.

Develop module disabled

I am a registered user of Lr 5.1 (1160-4001-2645-0882-9537-1138) and today an error message appeared in the Develop window reading: "Develop module is disabled. Please renew your membership to reactivate the Develop module". I never got such a message before. What does it mean? What kind of membership does it refer to?

A disabled develop module is indicative that you have installed the creative cloud version of Lightroom, possibly when updating. The Lightroom program is the same, but it is licensed differently. The creative cloud version depends on your Adobe ID and password while the standalone version requires a serial number. It will be necessary for you to uninstall Lightroom from your computer and then download and install from this website:
Product updates
The uninstall process will not affect your catalog or images. After you install the right version you will be able to resume your work in Lightroom right where you left off.
Just one note, this is a user-to-user forum. We don't have any access to something to verify serial numbers. And it isn't a good idea to post complete serial numbers on the forum.

Disable auto build in Developer Studio 7.0.1.3

I'm working on a DC project and I have a rather embarrassing question:
how do disable Developer Studio auto build?
I've tried to tick off "Perform build automatically on resource modfification" but it just does not do the trick.
Every time I return to the code parspective after visiting the layout, Developer Studio auto builds my code.
Unfortunately because this is a large project it takes a long time.

mine too .. it appeared device not found ... I enabled the storage and memory appeared to the tablet and the memory card ... ran the Cyndia not appeared but the error message was still disconnected and without root ... connected again only this time without activating the store and ran the Cyndia again and after already installed Link2SD to test and it worked ... So what if you want to install Su to appear notices of apps that seek root access can install. Excuse my English, see if you can understand what I said .. Image Borders

When my page loads in IE, I get small dark blue lines between
the images(I'm talking about the top banner). In FF, it looks
seamless, but for some reason in IE, there are small gaps, almost
like a border. I went though and set the border equal to 0for the
images, yet it didn't help at all. The top of the image on the
right(Donations, Contact Us, Newsletter) lines up fine, but the
bottom and the image on the left(Spokane County United Way), has
the gaps.
I tried validating my page, since last time I had a problem
with gaps and tables, that was it. It is fully validated.
Any help would be wonderful.

Looks like the different way IE handles the box model - with
padding,
margin width etc.
Looking at it with Firefox / web developer toobar - with
Outline block
elements on - I can see the margin

Enable Auto Sync not working in Version 5.3

I need to flag only the active image in Survey mode. When I flag an image all selected images are flagged regardless of whether Enable auto sync is enabled or disabled (Library) Metadata>Enable Auto sync.
Strangely the opposite happens in the develop module. Only the active image is adjusted regardless of whether Enable auto sync is enabled or disabled (Develop) Settings>Enable Auto sync.
I am running windows 7 Home premium. Exactly the same thing happens on my Laptop which is Windows 7 Professional.
It is astonishing that there are no other references to this problem in LR5 but I can't see why it should be my installation...

The same problem on my ipad2 in ios 5.0.1
1. with smart cover
   - set autobrightness on and bright level half , no password
   - close smart cover and open cover
   - ipad2 screen is very dark and does not change until power off & on
2. No smart cover
- does not change bright in any places(dark room, sunlight, living room etc)
But no battery problem on my ipad2

How to link two authorizations to an object.

In the EWA report I received the following recommendation:
"If you do not want to disable development in your system, you have to exclude OBJTYPE=DEBUG with ACTVT=02 from the profile and allow any other object type for S_DEVELOP. This means that development and debugging with visualization are still possible.
You can do this by linking two authorizations to object S_DEVELOP: One with all object types (except "DEBUG") and all activities and another for object type DEBUG only with all activities (except 02)."
How to achieve this?

I can understand that, however it still has a downside when your user base grows, or you move on and someone else needs to take over, or the functional consultants leave the building and when you upgrade or apply support packs and need to make some changes, then you don't know why the authorization was added manually - at least not without having to sieve through a sea of documentation and mails etc.
It is easier to find a transport request and it's documentation IMO, and who knows about it, approved it, tested it, etc.
It is just a little organizational discipline thing, but it does go a long way.

as mentioned in earlier response, end user is able to see your entire code as well as how the HTTP calls are being made to server in browser developer console tools (valid for almost all browsers having ability to open the console)

My Format Binding is empty

I am using WIN XP/ VBASP
I install DW CS4 while developing my pages I have notice after adding a recordset to the page I tried to change a currency filed in the Binding/Format
check this image and see what I am talking about

I even reinstall DWCS4 all over again, disabled Development Tool Box and still with no luck
I think since CS3 and now CS4 there is a lot of unsolved issues for developers whom are still using ASP/VB, it looks like Adobe is catering more and more towards ColdFusion, Java, Ajax, .Net, and forgetting us ASP Classic, its a shame because there is large group of developer who are still using ASP/VB and I am one of them

App reboots when an image is imported

The app reboots whenever I import an image from my photo library. I've already set the maximum import resolution to 12mp and I have no other apps running. I can create a blank document but as soon as I try to import an image it reboots. I have rebooted my device thrice, it hasn't helped. I'm using an HTC One X+. Thanks!

Seems like the update didn't fix the issue at least not for some users. Looking at the logs that we have gotten it seems to be connected to
something internal in Android. Things that you can try out to see if they help
Disable developer settings
clear gallery cache and data and restart
clear media storage cache and data and restart
disable Gallery and use another one like e.g. QuickPic
use different camera - any - but try to avoid unstable cameras
You could help us by trying to give us a list of your installed applications, since it can be another application that has an impact by some reason.
Do you have specific hardware on like. e.g bluetooth, are you listening to e.g. music during the same time or other resident applications that work in the background?
It would also be good to know how many images you have on your device.

Had to use system restore now ...

im just make a list here apps wont open they start to but them disappear start button does NOTHING unless right clicked then i can access the search option. cortona does nothing when search box is clicked the notification jump list or action center
does nothing when clicked. everything desktop oriented works. i think this just happened had to restore due to virus pup ware and ad ware. most recently i found out the store works when opening it it said time and date was wrong fixed that when i reopend the
store it said that my developers licence had expired it kicked me of the store but didnt close it it restarted now i can use it and download and install apps just not use them. ill update yall if anything gets worse awaiting a response to reset the pc e mail

in the over settings I'm assuming my prior account was associated with the default development account I'm going to try the powershell commands to disable development mode for all users fingers crossed
