How can I print photos from library with a time / date stamp to use for legal purposes? Please help

All photos captured with the iPhone are date and time stamped, but not shown on the photo. Plus those metadata can be changed easily with modern photo editing software so it is not always admissible in court.
To post those to the pictures, you need a 3rd party app for that. Try the free Exifwizard app.

How do you export photos from your library to a flash drive?

Assuming you're referring to iPhoto on your iMac export the photos to a folder on the Desktop via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu option.  Then drag the folder of photos onto the flash drive.

  • Viewing photos from library?  Please Help...

I just bout a new black macbook and downloaded images from my camera to iPhoto. When I double click on a photo from my library, instead of an enlarged picture, I get a grey box with a question mark. I never had this problem on my PPC computer and I am wondering what I am doing wrong.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

If the  ➙ Force Quit method won't let you shutdown iPhoto try this command in the Terminal:
    killall iPhoto
followed by the Return or Enter key
It might take more than one go for it to take.
Failing that close all other applications and hold the power button down until the computer shuts down.  Reboot and try iPhoto again.

  • Can't find Adobe Collage in location services on iPad, and can't import photos from library

Why am I not able to find Adobe Collage in location services on my iPad? And why can't I import photos from my photo library on my iPad?
    Best regards
    Joachim Mortensen

It should appear at or near the top of the list in your Location Services panel under Privacy:
Were you by chance searching for it in the ‘C’s under Collage? The offical name is “Adobe Collage”
If you have Adobe Collage installed, but it isn't here, try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

  • IPhoto - Can no longer drag photos from Library to created Albums..

Up until last week I had no problem dragging photos from my Library to Albums I'd created on the right side. All of a sudden I can no longer drag photos and have to put photos in Albums by clicking on desired photos and creating Album with + button on bottom right corner. Why doesn't it let me drag photos anymore??

HI gkkennedy and Welcome to Apple Discussions...
I can't tell you why this is happening but I can offer up a possible solution. Sometimes the preference folders associated with applications become corrupted. Here's how to fix that. Locate this file and drag it to the Trash: com.apple.iPhoto.plist It's here: /Home/Library/Preferences. Open the Preferences folder and drag it to the Trash, empty the Trash and reboot. Launch iPhoto and see if you can drag photos from the Library to an album ... Don't worry... your Mac will create a new preference file for you.

  • After interrupting iPhotos import to mac from iPhone, it is not allowing me to shut down computer as it says 'Importing photos from library' i also cannot import photos from phone! Please help, VERY frustrating. Thanks.

After recently purchasing a mac i decided to upload my photos from my iPhone to iPhoto. I accidentally disconnected the charger and now whenever i click 'import photos' it tells me that iPhoto is 'importing photos to library' which i can tell you it is not. because the phone is not connected and it has been doing it for days now.i tried to force quit and it hasn't work. It won't let me shut the computer down now either as it thinks it is currently importing something so i have to wait for the computers battery to die which is ridiculous. Becoming increasingly frustrated with this problem and not sure where else to turn. Please help. Thanks, Neil.

  • How do I delete multiple photos from library?

    Hi All
On my iphone - how do I delete multiple photos from the library without having to do 1 at a time?
    Thanks

In the album, tap on the little forward arrow in the upper right corner. From there you can tap as many photos as you'd like, and at the bottom, you'll have the options to Share, Copy, Add To, or Delete.

  • My iphoto 09 ( 8.1.2) will not magnify photo from Library

My iphoto 09 has stopped maginifing photos from my library when I double click.  It simply shows a black screen with an exclamation point in a circle.
Anybody have similar problems or suggestions?

    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

  • Can I auto-delete Album photos from Library once Album itself is deleted ? (iPhoto)

Tell me I've missed something really simple, please !
I've just spent 3 hours carefully selecting 250 single photos dotted around my entire iPhoto Library (8,000 pics)
I've put them in an Album ready to export.
After exporting this Album, I will want to delete the Album - and, crucially, all the originals from my Library - surely I don't have to spend another 3 hours sifting through the 8,000-strong Library again to relocate each of the 250 ?  Isn't there some one-click option, having exported the Album, and now ready to delete the Album, like, e.g. Delete Originals from Library After Deleting this Album ??   (I understand I can't only delete the Album to get rid of these pics completely, cos the originals will stay hidden and dispersed about the Library)
    Thank you for any help

  • Removing photo from library

    Hi!
Does anyone know when i delete a photo from my library, is it deleted everywhere else in iphoto? i am trying to make room for more photos and want to delete some from my library and didnt know if it removes the pics permanently to make more space for additional photos. thanks!

Thank you. and if a copy of the photo is in other albums/folders in iphoto, those will be deleted as well (i know you mentioned the HD) ?
I just came back from Mexico, and i have a bunch of similar photos in my camera and would rather compare them on screen and delete from there, rather than delete the better pic from my camera. i just didnt want all the duplicates to take up space...i wanted to delete them properly....

  • Exporting full size photos from library to email

I want to export my full size photos (4.8MB) as an attachment to an email. However, my IMac keeps on reducing its size to 22KB - even though I indicate it as JPEG maximum. Can any help?

Just been playing with cropping in iPhoto..
Only the top two crop options are pixel sizes the others are ratios. I don't think it will do what you want..
I usually use Graphic Converter for jobs like that but Preview will work..
Drag your photo from iPhoto to the desktop > double click it to open in Preview > Tools > retangular selection > the pixel sizes are shown as you drag the selection box around. (esc will let you start again & command z will go back.) when you have what you want > Tools > Crop.
    Hope that helps..

  • When i import photos from library to a folder they are shaded?

Can they be restored to a normal photo? i use the show photos tab when i open a folder.

Please explain your wrok flow and describe what the problem is -
For starters you impoort photos into the iPhoto library and export them from the iPhoto library  --  are you exporting photos to a desktop folder? Or what?
What do you mean by "they are shaded"? Where is the "show Photos" tab you are using? where is the folder yoou ae opening?
In short remember we can see you or your computer and only know what you tell us so you need to be very clear about the problem and what you are doing

  • Remove un-used photos from library

i have 68,000 photos in my library.
About HALF of them are not used in any album.
That is, after import, I have deleted half of the pictures from the albums.
iPhoto is very slow to respond.
I think it has to do with the large photo library.
Is there any way to delete the UN-USED photos in the iPhoto Library and only keep the ones that are contained in at least one Album??

You can make a smart album of photos not in an album, flag them, create a new event from flagged photos and delete teh photos form that event inbatches of 100 or so emptying the iPhoto trash after ever batch
