Disappearing Toolbar
I'm working feverishly in Captivate 2 and when I click on any
toolbar option; File, Edit, View, Insert, etc. the drop down window
disappears before I can select File>Save or Insert>Animation,
etc. I have to hope it will appear long enough that I can read the
keyboard shortcut! Even after I reboot, the problem eventually
comes back.
Has anyone else experienced this?

And, my upper toolbar, the one that shows whether its Safari or Iphoto I'm on, has disappeared from view. It's up there, when I move my cursor to the top of the screen it comes down, otherwise it's invisible.

To get out of it, press esc. (top left on the keyboard).
Once you are out of full screen mode look at the top right corner of the window you are on. There are two arrows pointing diagonally up and down. Clicking there will get you into full screen. The esc key gets you out of it. -
How to keep safari toolbar from disappearing on iPhone
Nothing frustrates me more then the disappearing toolbar at the bottom of safari on my iPhone. I hate that I have to tap or slid the page to get the stupid thing to come back. I can't find a setting to keep it up and am wondering what I can do to fix this broken feature? I have been having this problem since I updateded to iOS 7 last year and apple still had not fixed it in ios 8. Help me before i end up throwing my phone at the wall.
Forward it to your email account, then save it on your computer. You can't save it directly on the iPhone.

I had been using PSE 6 on my old laptop (Windows 7) for years, with no probelm. Now I have a new laptop (Windows 8), and installed PSE 6 on it with my disk. The program mostly works, but the toolbar at the top of the page of the Organizer is missing. Where is it, and how can I get it to appear? I want to be able to load previously-edited photos into the Organizer from my computer files, but there is now no way to do this (or anything else that requires access to functions of the disappeared toolbar!)
Also, if the menu is lacking, you can get a drop-down menu by clicking on the small, hardly visible, icon on the top bar :

I have some problem after update my Adobe Acrobat Pro to vesion 10.1.2
There was disappeared toolbar Print Production with very important funtion - Preflight. But it was in previous version.
What shall I do to get it back? It is very important for me...I know this. And I tried this.
But there is a main problem - THERE IS NO PRINT PRODUCTION in this pop-up menu...it is so strange!
I have explored all panels and couldn't find it -
I have several dropdown lists in my bookmarks toolbar and would like to access the properties for some of the the items. This used to work fine. However, now, when I go to the list and place the cursor on a particular item, the context menu that is usually available on a right click disappears when I try to access one of the options. This is the menu that begins with Open. What can I do to regain this functionality? I really need the information in the Properties section. I'm using Firefox 3.6.8
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
Also check the Mouse driver settings in the Control Panel. -

In Firefox v4.0.1, custom toolbars disappear from the toolbar menu when I open a "New Window".

I created a new toolbar in Customize... / Add New Toolbar. It's on the list of toolbars and opens up '''most times''' I start Firefox, but not ''always''. I have tested it and it is completely random.

Same type of problem as 1., but '''''everytime''''' I use the 'New Window' feature the custom toolbar disappears from the toolbar menu and if I need to use it, I have to '''save all tabs as bookmark''' then close and reopen FireFox so I get my original window [where the toolbar shows up]. AARRRGHH.
I've been using FF for 7 years now, so I know enough to rule out corrupted localstore.rdf, new or updated add-ons (I could be wrong though, as I often am...).

When it has disappeared I can open Firefox again using the menu or the opening icon on the toolbar, but then it only shows up blank, so without the tabs that were opened before. Closing down all other icons on the toolbar is the only way to make the Firefox icon reappear and for me to open Firefox again with all my tabs.

The odd thing is, this problem hasn't occurred again since I posted it. What kind of magic is that? :-))
It really is odd, since I had it at least twice a week for several months.
So far, so good, then.
I'll wait a while more, and will then close it as being solved. I guess that's the procedure.
We'll put it down to temporary bugs or pc mysteries.

Tab bar has disappeared from view and from list of toolbars. How can I get it back?
I was fooling around with the toolbar options, trying (unsuccessfully!) to return to the toolbar layout I had before Firefox was automatically upgraded (without my permission!). I was trying to move the tabs bar down below the other toolbars. Suddenly it disappeared. Various web-suggested fixes involved going into Preferences or Options and doing things. I can't find anything called Preferences, and the option suggested for tabs (show tab bar) in Options doesn't exist in my options. I am very unhappy, not just because I can't find the tab bar, but because the new version messed up how I had my toolbars organized, and there seems to be no option for fixing it.
What method did you use to move the Tab bar?
Did you create a userChrome.css file in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

My bookmarks toolbar in Firefox 10.0.2 Mac OSX 10.6.8 suddenly disappeared. View>Toolbars>Bookmarks Toolbar is checked. Dragging URL's to the bookmarks toolbar area no longer works. The gray area appears and disappears when checking/unchecking under View/Toolbars menu, but will not show any or accept addition of bookmarks.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
*Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
*Check that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the toolbar palette in the customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*If missing items are in the toolbar palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up

In my Bookmarks toolbar there is a star, an arrow, and a house. There used to be the word "bookmarks" but it disappeared. I want the word "bookmarks" back so that I can click on that. If I right click in the blue area, all I get is Open all in Tabs, etc. There is nothing to say how I get the word bookmarks.
Firefox has two bookmark buttons with a star in the Customize window.<br />
One star button has a drop-marker that open the Bookmark menu and may appear on the Navigation Toolbar or on the Bookmarks Toolbar if the menu bar is hidden.<br />
The other star button without the drop-marker opens the bookmarks in the sidebar (View > Sidebar > Bookmarks).

You can drag the Bookmarks menu button with the drop-marker in the Customize window from the toolbar palette on a toolbar (e.g. Navigation Toolbar or Tab Bar or to the left side of the Bookmarks Menu Items).<br />

I am quite dismayed at changes that have recently been made on my two email accounts; gmail and yahoo.
My yahoo toolbar has completely disappeared along with the bookmarks of which I had several.
Not long ago my "favorites" list disappeared and I had to replace it with "bookmarks".
WHAT IS GOING ON?
I also do not like the e-mail changes with the send box having the "send" and other tools on the BOTTOM. How awful. Change doesn't always mean "better".
Will you please advise me as to how I may get my toolbar and bookmarks back?
ALSO, the e-mails do not fit my computer screen and many times I have shut down the e-mail and re-enter my passwords in order to get out of a page. CAN YOU FIX THIS? Everything worked so well before.

I use Norton which has a feature called "Identity Safe." In the old version of Mozilla, the icon for this feature was available on my toolbar. Now that I have converted to the latest version of Firefox, the icon has disappeared and I cannot figure out to get it back. I can still activate the Identity Safe by opening Norton, but I want to restore the shortcut.
Symantec have made an update for their add-ons to work in Firefox 4, but they only listed them as compatible with Firefox 4.0, they need to update them to let them work in Firefox 4.0.1, they have indicated this will be happening soon. Yeah there's no setting for that. So either you don't have an iPhone, or your iPhone is jail broken. If it's jail broken, just restore to factory and all will be fixed :)
