  • Touchpad no longer working on hp pavillion dv6 after disassemble

    So, I went ahead and spilled a little bit of coffee on my laptop.  Not much, but as an extra bit of precaution, probably a bit too much, I disassembled it and let it dry.  Everything works perfectly now except for the trackpad.  The LED border is lit up, but the cursor stays frozen on the screen.  I'm able to connect a usb mouse and operate the machine just fine and dandy ... but I'm curious if I'm missing something.  Is there another cable I'm missing?  Or is there just the one?  Could it be that the cable is just not secure?
    Any ideas or insights would be appreciated.

    Yes it is very easy to fail to get the ribbon cable fully inserted or even insert it into the zif connector incorrectly. I hate to admit but often have to open a laptop again after assembly to reconnect the touchpad.

  • HP pavilion dv6000 with windows 7 64 bit has no sound after disassembled.

    Hello there,
    I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and after i disassembled and reassembled it to clean the fan, the lap top has no sound. In the device manager an error on ''PCI bus9, Device 9, function 2 & 3'' was appeared but after i installed new drivers the errors was fixed and it was written that the device was working properly. but unfortunately the device is not working properly because i stills have no sound. I also disassembled and reassembled for second time to find out if the problem was minor like an unplugged cable but everything was completely fine. Operation system: Windows 7 64 bit.  Can someone please tell me what to do?

  • Disassembly Order - System Can't  calculate the cost of Output Item

    Dear All,
    I have a problem with Dis-assembly order in production module,My scenario is I have two output item ABC1 And ABC2
    and One Input Item ABC.
    I have Made The Production BOM  ABC(1 Qty ) = ABC1(1 Qty) + ABC2(1 Qty)
    After it I have purchase the ABC item at the cost 100 Rs.
    I have made the    Disassembly order of ABC Item With qty 1 and set the price list Last Purchase Price,
    at the time of Issue from production system put the following journal entry.
    Stock Account = 100 CR
    WIP Account    = 100 DR
    But ,At the time of Receipt From Production system cannot pass any  journal entry.
    and result is my stock value of item ABC1 And ABC2  is zero with 1 qty.
    for correcting the stock value i am using  item revolution screen and correct the WIP Account.
    But why the system put the Blank Journel entry at the time of receipt from production ,is there any way
    to automate this .i.e.
    ABC1 Qty 1 and Cost 50
    ABC2 Qty 1 and Cost 50
    And JV is
    WIP = 100 CR
    STOCK = 100 DR

    Dont do revaluation. Its not necessary. If you observer the journal effect properly then you will find when you perform the disassembly production order after closing it creates JE in which you are in loss of finished product as its not creating the the item cost of returned item but stock is getting increased. So when you sale such item it will show the 100% sales GP and accounting transaction against production loss will be setteled. But if you dnt perform the revaluation then you get teh 100% GP against returned component as it doesn't have item cost.

    Ever happens here so if done in dialogue in bakcground.
    In dialogue always appears in message bar 'tp user check1  and so remains indefinitely until I have to kill the process.
    As background, BGD process runs on hold indefinitely...
    I also tried to make 'Disassemble support Package' from the menu the SPAM Utilities also runs in the same State and must kill the process.
    Decompressing support Package with single sapcar you extract the file:
    CSR0120031469_0044188.PAT and never extracts the file .ATT
    I several times what I downloaded SAP downloads site and never brings me the file. ATT.
    I can not continue with the deployment of patches.
    Thank you in advanced for your help.

    Hi Fernando,
    What SPAM/SAINT version do you have installed ?
    Ensure it is the latest one.
    If you are moving the files, check which method you are using.
    Usually the transfer of files should be done with binary mode.
    If you do get the data file and then get errors:
    Please run the following command to check the datafiles consistency:
    R3trans -l <datafile>
    If you receive any return code different than 0, the datafile is indeed
    corrupted, as the error message suggests (check-sum error in datafile).

  • Setting de-batched message specific message context properties in custom disassembler

    I have recently created a custom disassemble component which can handle a message batch. The message batch can contain multiple messages and the custom component during de-batching recognizes this and does appropriate disassembly. All this is working fine.
    The issue I have is that in the disassembler in the disassembled message part I copy the base message context, then assign additional properties. This is resulting in the context of the base message getting modified and as a result, all messages come into
    BizTalk with the same context (which is wrong) but the correct message data.
    So I could trace it to the statement debatchedMessage.Context = pInMsg.Context. It is not the copy but the reference which is being passed which is causing an overwrite and causing me grief.
    Anybody else noticed this behavior? or perhaps knows of a fix? or perhaps knows of a method which will allow me to
    COPY the message context?
    Regards.

    What you are seeing is the expected behavior.  You are correct:
    debatchedMessage.Context = pInMsg.Context
    merely assigns the context as a reference.
    There is no shortcut to copying the context properties as there is in an Orchestration so you have to copy them one by one:
    for (int i = 0; i < pInMsg.Context.CountProperties; i++)
    string Name
    string Namespace;
    object PropValue = pInMsg.Context.ReadAt(i, out Name, out Namespace);
    if (pInMsg.Context.IsPromoted(Name, Namespace))
    outMsg.Context.Promote(Name, Namespace, PropValue);
    else
    outMsg.Context.Write(Name, Namespace, PropValue);

  • Disassemble portfolio, how to?

    hi,
    i have problem with disassembling PDF portfolio.
    I have process in cycle, which is assemble few forms with XFA data into a pdf's. At the end of this process, after loop, it makes a portfolio like this :
      <PDF result="Acrobat 9 Portfolio">
        <Portfolio>
          <Navigator source="AdobeRevolve.nav"/>
          <Schema>
            <Field name="Character" type="Filename"/>
            <Field name="Location" type="Text"/>
          </Schema>
        </Portfolio>
        <PackageFiles>
          <PDF source="Swami.pdf"/>
          <PDF source="Sherlock.pdf"/>
          <FieldData name="Location">London</FieldData>
        </PackageFiles>
      </PDF>
    This portfolio i will send to user and he should fill it up and send it back to me. For disassemble portfolio i tried
      <PDFsFromBookmarks prefix="Animal">
        <PDF source="doc1"/>
      </PDFsFromBookmarks>
    but in Assembler result i got no documents like in attachement can see.
    I need help with this? Thanks a lot.

    Do you mean when we first cre
    ate the portfolio, I have to use the <PackageFiles> instead of <PDF> for the result tag.
    This is how I'm using the DDX to Create the Portfolio:
    <DDX xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/1.0/">
      <PDF result="NewPortfolio">
        <Portfolio>
          <Navigator source="AdobeGridSizeOptions.nav"/>
        </Portfolio>
        <PackageFiles>
          <PDF source="1 SNAPApplication" bookmarkTitle="SNAP"/>
          <PDF source="2 DSS8207" bookmarkTitle="DSS"/>
        </PackageFiles>
      </PDF>
    </DDX>
    Can you let me know how this DDX file should be replaced to include the <packageFiles result tag instead of the <PDF result tag.
    And after that, what DDX should I use to extract the files again.   So mainly The portfolio should be created first and then the single files has to be extracted.  I've accomplished this using an assembled file with BookMarks but this idea can't be applied to a portfolio.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • DisAssembling  a PDF based on a text string on the page

    I am looking for some guidance (and an example if at all possible) on how to disassemble a multipage pdf based on text like "Tax ID" contained on certain pages. The result is that I am looking to break up a document that contains 1000 pages, 100 of those pages may contain the text "Tax ID" for 100 different people and I would like 100 different PDF's with the 1 page that has their "Tax ID" as the output. In addition...it would be great to extract the value next to the text "Tax ID" so that the PDF's could be named accordingly.
    The challenge here is how do I get the page numbers that contain the "Text ID" text along with the text sitting to the right of that text? Once I get that...then I can simply feed that information back into Assembler via the DDX for extraction.
    Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

    You've posed an interesting problem. Here is one approach that requires you to create a few steps to your Workbench process.
    Invoke the Assemble service with a DDX that extracts text information from the original PDF
    Invoke the XSLT service to convert the extracted text info into a Bookmark file.
    Invoke the Assembler with a two-part DDX with imports the Bookmark file into the original PDF and then uses the added bookmarks to disassemble the PDF.
    Invoke the Assemble service with a DDX that extracts text information from the original PDF
    Here is a DDX that extracts text info:
    <DDX xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/1.0/">
      <DocumentText result="text">
        <PDF source="myOriginalPDF"/>
      </DocumentText>
    </DDX>
    The result will be an XML file with this appearance:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="C:\Adobe\TaxID.xslt"?>
    <DocText xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/DocText/1.0/">
        <TextPerPage>
            <Page pageNumber="1">to market to market</Page>
            <Page pageNumber="1">TAX ID 1111 Gee I owe a lot of money to the IRS . How could this be ?</Page>
            <Page pageNumber="2">TAX ID 2222 We all owe lots of money</Page>
            <Page pageNumber="3">TAX ID 3333 We all owe lots of money</Page>
        </TextPerPage>
    </DocText>
    Invoke the XSLT service to convert the extracted text info into a Bookmark file
    Here is an XSLT that converts the text info into a Bookmark file:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="2.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:textInfo="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/DocText/1.0/">
        <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"/>
        <xsl:template match="/">
            <Bookmarks xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/pdf/bookmarks" version="1.0">
            <xsl:apply-templates/>
                </Bookmarks>
        </xsl:template>
        <xsl:template match="textInfo:Page">
        <xsl:variable name="myText" select="text()"/>
        <xsl:if  test='contains( $myText, "TAX ID")'>
            <xsl:variable name="taxID"
                select='substring($myText, 8, 4)'/>
                <Bookmark><Dest>
                <Fit>
                    <xsl:attribute name="PageNum">
                    <xsl:value-of select="@pageNumber"/>
                    </xsl:attribute>
                </Fit>
                </Dest>
                    <Title>
                    <xsl:value-of select="$taxID"/>
                    </Title>
                </Bookmark>
            </xsl:if>
        </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    Here is the result of this XSLT applied against the example text info:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Bookmarks xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/pdf/bookmarks" version="1.0">
        <Bookmark xmlns="">
            <Dest>
                <Fit PageNum="1"/>
            </Dest>
            <Title>1111</Title>
        </Bookmark>
        <Bookmark xmlns="">
            <Dest>
                <Fit PageNum="2"/>
            </Dest>
            <Title>2222</Title>
        </Bookmark>
        <Bookmark xmlns="">
            <Dest>
                <Fit PageNum="3"/>
            </Dest>
            <Title>3333</Title>
        </Bookmark>
    </Bookmarks>
    If you use this XSLT, you should refine it to search for the string "TAX ID" at the beginning of the page rather than anywhere in the page. You should also improve the identification of the TAX ID number to be independent of the length.
    Invoke the Assembler with a two-part DDX
    Write a DDX that imports the Bookmark file into the original PDF and then uses the added bookmarks to disassemble the PDF.

  • File_open_error while applying SAINT module - step DISASSEMBLE

    Hi there!
    I'm a newbie here
    I'm trying to apply a new module through SAINT transaction then when I start importing after few minutes I receive an error like this:
    file_open_error RC=03 DISASSEMBLE
    I've tried lots of times but always the same problem also if I try to import the same module in another r3 installation...
    What's the solution? thank you very much
    Sonya (Italy)

    Make sure your Tranport Management System (TMS, TCODE STMS) is working.
    The disassemble step is the process of moving files from the EPS/IN directory to the /usr/sap/trans/data and /usr/sap/trans/cofiles directoires.  You require the porper permissions and directory availability to perform this process of disassemble.

  • Tecra A8: How to disassemble the keyboard?

    I'd like to disassemble keyboard in my Tecra A8. Is there any disassembly guide on the web?

    Hi
    I dont think that you will find any manuals which describe the keyboard removing procedure. Such manuals are not official documents and only for the service partner usage.
    But in my knowledge the removing of the keyboards is not very difficult.
    There should be a thin cover above the keyboard. This cover masks 2 screws which secure the keyboard. You have to remove the cover and the screws careful.
    Then it should be possible to remove the keyboard.
    But be careful, the keyboard is connected with the short, flat cable to the main board.

  • How to disassemble the Camileo S10?

    I would like to hack the S10 to solve 2 problems:
    1) Put a wide angle adaptor
    Actually it is almost impossible, but removing the plastic part in front of objective allow to access to cylindrical part of it and fix a wide angle adaptor
    2)I need to fit the S10 on a RC model to keeping the camera in horizontal position instead of vertical.
    I successfully start to disassemble the camera removing the plastic black middle where the battery is located.
    I stop because I have no ideas how to unmount the video display
    Anyone have a link to Toshiba Service manual of the Camileo S10 or have an idea how to dissasemble it ?

    Hi
    I think disassembling a Camileo is not so easy and should only be done from an expert.
    If something is wrong with your camera you should go to the nearest authorized service provider. The technicians can disassemble it for you and they have such service manuals I think.

  • SAINT error in phase DISASSEMBLE

    Hi,
    I am performing Delta-upgrade of component ST-SER from 700_2007_1 to 700_2008_1 via SAINT on our Solution Manager 4.0 system. (Windows server 2003 / MS SQL)
    The SAR archive (KITLONB.SAR) is of 141 MB.
    while trying to uncar i get following message:
    SAPCAR: processing archive D:\SPS17\ST-SER_2008\Inst\KITLONB.SAR (version 2.01)
    x EPS/in/CSR0120031469_0029513.ATT
    x EPS/in/CSR0120031469_0029513.PAT
    SAPCAR: error reading from D:\SPS17\ST-SER_2008\Inst\KITLONB.SAR
    But the EPS files have been loaded in the system & visible in the queue as well.
    The import fails in phase DISASSEMBLE with following error:
    Error in phase - DISASSEMBLE
    Reason for error - PATCH_FILE_READ_ERROR
    Return code - 12
    Error message - OCS Package : SAPKITLONB
    File has Full Control given to groups Administrator, SAP_LocalAdmin and SYSTEM.
    What could be the reason?

    Check your SAPCAR executable.
    File hasn't been uncared properly.  You may uncar on your desktop and then transfer to server.
    Other option is to load from SAINT tool > Load > Package from Application Server > Give location and it will uncar at right place.
    Thanks,
    Digesh

  • Error in phase: DISASSEMBLE Reason for error: PATCH_FILE_READ_ERROR

    Hello All
    I am applying support Package: SAPKB70009 on SAP ECC 6.0 for component SAP_BASIS with release 700.
    I am getting following error
    The import was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase
    DISASSEMBLE, which the Support Package Manager is unable to resolve
    without your input.
    After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the
    import by choosing Support Package -> Import queue from the initial
    screen of the Support Package Manager.
    The following details help you to analyze the problem:
         -   Error in phase: DISASSEMBLE
         -   Reason for error: PATCH_FILE_READ_ERROR
         -   Return code:  12
         -   Error message: OCS Package: SAPKB70009
    Guys can you please  shed some light on how to solve this issue.

    Hi,
    There might be 2 reaons for the error.
    1) corrupted files in EPS/in  or improper CAR of the files.
    2) the file permissions in EPS/in check whether the files are having proper permssions like 775 with owner <SID>adm

  • Disassembled my Ti 1ghz/867mhz (w/DVI) and there's no inverter board? What?

    Hello fellow travelers. My ten-year old son and I just finished disassembling my Powerbook G4. It's an odd model. It's got DVI. It's got GB ethernet. It's 1Ghz. It's got the vents of one model and the DVI of another. It's neither Mercury, nor Onyx, nor DVI. What the bleep is it?
    It had all the symptoms of a bad inverter board. I'm a pretty good trouble-shooter. So, I ordered a board for the DVI model. Heck. It's got DVI. Just finished taken the entire thing apart as per ifix it (http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac/). Guess what?
    I see no inverter board.
    Is there a model G4 Powerbook that doesn't have an inverter board? If so, then what the heck explains the "bad inverter board-like" symptoms such is "monitor image viewable with a flashlight from behind the apple," and "intermittent monitor working (mostly not working)" and "runs an external monitor?" not to mention the fact that I believe AppleCare replaced an inverter board (or so I thought) a few years ago.
    Are there G4 Ti 15" models that don't have inverter boards?
    Has an alien descended and removed mine? Am I losing my mind?
    Glenn

    If poltergeists were the problem, you'd find rocks and smashed ashtrays and potted plants strewn around inside your Powerbook, along with tiny video cameras planted there by parapsychologists. That's not the issue.
    These are two-dimensional aliens. They turn sideways when they see the camera; that's why you can't capture them on video. It also makes it very easy for them to slide in and out of the Powerbook through the vast empty spaces inside the Titanium atoms - not to mention the added efficiency of space travel without burdensome extra dimensions to scrape against all the ones they have to pass through to get here. Instead of thinking of them as a problem, consider what a lot of trouble they've taken to cross the universe just to inhabit your Powerbook, and try to make their visit more comfortable. You are an ambassador, or at least a deputy assistant chargé d'affaires, for all of humanity. Step up to your responsibilities!
    Because the hard drive in a Tibook is so easy to get at, I suggest removing yours (with its flex cable)from the machine and then seeing whether booting from your external drive and/or optical drive goes any more smoothly. If there's no change, put the HD back in and remove the optical drive, then test again. I don't recall whether we've heard that a problematical CD/DVD drive can interfere with startup from another source, but it's definitely possible for a wonky hard drive to interfere with booting from other sources. Lastly, remove both drives and see whether you can then boot consistently from the external drive. If not, and if you're confident of the FireWire cable you're using and the external drive itself, then I'm afraid you've come down to the logic board and the aliens. They may just find that board really homey, so if you replace it, please keep it in a warm, dry place and address a cheery greeting to its occupants each time you pass by.
