Disaster, my iPhone 5 felt and I broke the screen.
As I wrote, it just felt down, let's say from 50cm and there is a line, in the screen, the goes from side to side.
The touch works.
Is it true that apple will change just the screen (even at an apple store) or they will replace the entire device?

The warranty will apply to the country of purchase. And if there is a problem needing repair you have to return it to the country of purchase.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. If a 4G the price is $199 for 64 GB one and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

if you have a Mac or a PC with iTunes installed you may be able to do this. If your screen is broken but your iPhone still reacts to touch you have to just turn it off, and if your iPhone doesn't respond to touch, you have to hold both home and power buttons for about 7 seconds (it might not work from the first try) so that it shuts down. Afterwards get your lightning to USB cable connected to the computer but not to the phone. You hold your phone's home button and while holding it, you connect it to the cable, iTunes should say something like "iTunes detected iPhone in recovery mode"and a window with a restore button should pop up. You click on the restore button and iTunes will walk you through the process afterwards. If the iPhone has Find my iPhone feature activated you will have to enter your Apple ID password at the activation process after the iPhone is restored.

I had 2 iPhone 3G's, one of them screwed up and wouldn't recieve service. Up until then when I backed them up to my computer all was good, then one of them would update and all but a screen would pop up and tell me it couldn't back up to my computer. Recently I replaced the bad tele with an iPhone 4 and it does the same thing while the other iPhone 3G still backs up fine.......What up!!! Help please. Don't wanna lose my info..
I banged my head on the wall with the same problem for two days. Tried everything mentioned, and this worked, finally. The problem is that the backup files are not where you think they are.
You need to delete the MobilSync backup folder. I have a Mac. Went to /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup and deleted the Backup folder.

A few months back I Dropped my iPhone 4 and I cracked my screen and now i cant unlock my phone due to touch screen not working plus there are blurred lines across the screen and I can't see anything that it displays.
Now when I try too connect my iPhone 4 to iTunes on my computer at home an error message comes up saying that I have to unlock my iPhone 4 for it to communicate to my device.
But the problem is that I can't unlock my iPhone 4 because I'm unable to see the key pad and my touch screen no longer responds when I touch it.
I just want to reset my iPhone 4 back to its Factory Settings & start all over from the beginning.
How can I unlock my iPhone 4 with iTunes on my computer or any other option you suggest me trying.

my iphone 4 is not responding the screen is just showing a usb lead and the itunes symbol. when i plug it into my desktop mac and try to sync it to itunes ,itunes is telling me the phone is in a restore mode. Turn the Phone Off...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
The Apple logo will Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 10 - 15 Seconds...

In order to download to your phone over the air, you need to be connected to WiFi.
It's possible the Internet connection through Verizon is not stable enough for the downlaod to begin (it is a very large download).
You might want to head over to Starbucks with your laptop for the afternoon and see if you can download it over their WiFi. -
